In their response, the Weight Watchers Intl company has indicated that if I call their Corporate Affairs they will set up my account, but that claim in untrue I followed the instructions provided in the company response and I called the Corporate Affairs departmentI spoke with a very nice person named *** on 2/** at 2:25pm (central time)*** informed me that in contrast to the claim in the company's response, she CANNOT in fact, set up my account.I have repeatedly expressed that I do NOT want a refund All I want is what I paid for and I'm being treated as though I'm making some sort of outrageous demand - how is that possible? I do NOT want my money back, and I'm not asking for anything for freeI'm simply asking to receive the services for which I paid and for which the company accepted payment Sincerely,*** ***

After investigating the situation, I contacted the member by phoneI apologized for the misdirection from Customer Service and that she did not get a call back from a supervisor as she had requestedI was able to locate the two payments she made, one for $at the meeting room and one for $
onlineAt the member's agreement, I credited back the $and she will see it on her credit card in three to five business daysAlso, as courtesy I added an extra days to her membership and provided our phone number in Corporate Affairs in case she has any further questions or concerns. I visited over the phone yesterday with *** *** as it is she who filed this complaint on *** ***'s behalf and gave only her contact informationAfter asking several questions I was able to understand fully what happened with *** ***'s membershipI apologized that the Customer Service
representatives they spoke with were not able to recognize what happenedI also explained I believe *** *** misunderstood the cancellation email he receivedThis was a case of much confusion and Customer Service not only did not help, I believe they made it worseI apologized for all of this, offered to fix it and reactivate *** ***'s account at no charge and offered to refund the original charge*** *** said they already got the funds back from their credit card and *** *** wants nothing more to do with Weight WatchersThe offer still stands if *** *** changes his mind.Sincerely,Nikki C.Corporate AffairsWeight Watchers, Inc

When weight watchers messed up my billing and cost me hundreds of dollars in fees, you made it rightI refuse to allow you to do it againI do have a lawyer, but it will cost you a lot more in fees then just doing it right nowYou are a great program, but you suck at billingIf you choose not to fix this, I will call my lawyer and let him know that weight watchers is screwing me againIts your choice

I understand and completed the "Existing Users" process for logging in and entering a new eTools access code . For some technical reason, the system failed and my account was automatically charged. I appreciate and am grateful for the refund. At issue are the lengths that I had to go to in order to get the refund. All of this cost you more in resources and reputation than it would have if you had apologized for the problem and offered to refund the cost of the eTools subscription. I spent over minutes on the phone - almost half of that time on hold - trying to get the issue escalated and resolved. In the end I cancelled my eTools subscription permanently. It is disappointing to know how you treat your customers - who spend a great deal of time and money on your program - meetings, food, etcI have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved

I called the member to explain and clear up the misunderstandingI explained we do not have nor advertise to have "fitness" coachesOur personal coaches are there to coach members on the Weight Watchers programAlso, they are not only Weight Watchers members, but Lifetime members who are
also or have been Weight Watchers meeting leaders who have experience teaching the program and then were further trained to become personal coaches. *** *** understood and explained she assumed they would be fitness coaches, which is really what she was looking forAs a courtesy for the misunderstanding, I re-cancelled her account as of today, provided her cancellation confirmation number and credited back $54.95, the full amount she paid.
