I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I find it very insulting that weight watchers has not only sent the exact same response, which demonstrates this company's stance on customer service, but additionally, the representative has chosen to insult me by calling into question my reading abilities.As I stated before, The website does not describe that one can not weigh in. Nor does it describe that you would have to be a meetings member to be a lifetime member. Nor does it explain that you would have to be a meetings member to get "swag" or weight loss momentums. Weight Watchers has been misleading in its representation of what each program offers and it is not fair, nor could any of these things be deduced by the website. Furthermore, I called in and spoke with several online support services and garnered different responses. Thus, if it were as clear as WW's says it is, it would be clear to employees and explicitly stated on the website; it is not. There is no place on the website which black-letters any of these things and it is misleading to consumers; not because of consumer's lack of ability to read, but rather WW's inability to create a transparent website which letters to consumers exactly what they can and can not expect in each package.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.  PLEASE NOTE:  The response from WeightWatchers to the Revdex.com reads that they apologize, they were not made aware that the application was made in an app no managed by WeightWatchers.  That is wrong - I went to the WeightWatchers site and logged in where they indicated - to join their program.  It was not an app.  Whoever they hire to manage their online program is out of the control of whoever they invite to join their program when clicking "Join WeightWatchers" on their site.

This member's complaint was responded to and resolved via [redacted] PM on 10/*/2016. Membership account details were discussed with the member. Due to previous online cancellation errors that have occurred over the last year or so, we approved a onetime courtesy refund of 3 months = $179.49....

[Thank you for reviewing my claim in a timely manor.  I am however extremely unsatisfied with the offer of $419.70.  While I agree that I am negligent of tracking the account these funds were automatically pulled from, I feel it is Weight Watchers responsibility to honor their customers requests to cancel their service.  I wrote the cancellation number given to me over the phone in March of 2015 on a document that was destroyed with other documents from 2015 I no longer felt I needed.  I typically purge these documents after completing taxes each year and only keep what I feel is necessary.  In this instance apparently this was a document I needed to hang onto.  I distinctly remember calling to cancel this membership because it was a few days before I had a scheduled surgery and it was one of the tasks I needed to complete on my "to do" list before that surgery. I am quite positive Weight Watchers would have the ability to look at my online activity for this membership and see that there has been absolutely zero activity since the initial 3 month trial period I paid for.  During this initial time period I was actively recording data such as calories and weight loss.  By Mid February of 2015 I was no longer using this on a regular basis, and by March of 2015 I was not using it at all. I am requesting that Weight Watchers return the full amount of $839.40 for the 12 months of membership fees I was charged beginning on 4/**/15 after I called to cancel this service mid-March of 2015.  I feel that there is overwhelming evidence of account activity collaborating with a March 2015 cancellation.  I feel it is very unfortunate I am not in position of the document containing the cancellation number I was given over a year ago, however my failure to produce said document is not grounds to refuse a complete refund.  Two overwhelming details stick out in my mind pertaining this situation: 1. Why would I knowingly continue to pay for a service I was no longer using? 2. It is obvious by the fact that I never bothered to check my account for future transactions that I considered this membership cancelled and the issue closed.
