Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below To prove my point that I was unaware a "renewal" was allowed ( Even though I SPECIFICALLY CHOSE AND PAID FOR ONE YEAR) Please see the attached screenshotNoone on the checkout screen is ANY information AT ALL regarding a renewal Nowhere throughout the entire checkout process is any information shown regarding a renewal.I find the renewal to be a sort of scam, hoping people will not notice their credit card is chargedIt doesn't matter how many "emails" they send, if a email address isn't monitoredIn Summary, I signed up and paid for ONE yearThere was NOTHING during checkout that shows a renewal would be activated ( Notice GoDaddy.com did not mention anything regarding renewal not being on the checkout page) They illegally charged my credit card----fraud--- and therefore I am being charged $by my bank Regards [redacted] ***

1) The domains that are in question were on separate account, which was NOT provided Billing information or authorization to merge and be billed through additional customer accounts2) Customer Canceled those domains on original account NEVER gave permission to renew on different account orally or in writing or merge accounts.3) With out consent of customer, Go daddy merged those domains with another active account, which did have active payment on file4) Go daddy was contacted when charge occurred to again to cancel those domains & website builder, which also included the domain as well as proof ofagreement on Godaddy's admittance that domains account were merged with out consent and NOT an agreed upon to be charged as that would have had to occur on first original account, they offered a refund, which was never processed to my Bank account.5) Several days later, on the un-authorized account, domain names were charged for years for $79, with NO consent and having already been canceled on previous account and admittance by Go daddy they were in the wrong by merging accounts6) Only in Go Daddy's computers ,NOT IN MY BANK, was a refund ever obtained for website builder and NOT attempt to refund the domain named even in their computers has been madeI even offered to email PROOF of bank statement no monies received, which was declined by GO DaddyTherefore , since monies were taken from unauthorized account refund is STILL D7)

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal-agreements.aspx.On December 1, 2015, our customer added and purchased a one-year term of cPanel Linux shared hosting for a one-year term, via online transaction when renewing domains in their account On December 1, 2016, per our customer’s account preferences, GoDaddy was instructed to automatically renew the service in question and did so in a good faith effort to honor its agreements with our customer.GoDaddy sent a renewal notice prior to the expiration date on November 21, 2016, informing our customer their expiring item would be renewed in accordance with their account settings unless additional action was taken. Our customer contacted GoDaddy’s Customer Care team on July 20, to request a full refund for the original purchase and renewal of the hosting Our Customer Care team offered a refund of the most recent renewal as an exception to our Refund Policy, which our customer declined.RESOLUTION:GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service. Our office has refunded the most recent renewal of the hosting account in question, totaling $95.88, as a one-time exception to our Refund Policy, found at: https://www.godaddy.com/agreements/showdoc.aspx?pageid=19963&isc=statusdotWe also appreciate our customer's candid feedback about our service levels and will ensure their concerns are fully reviewed by our Customer Care Managers in an effort to identify improvement opportunitiesGoDaddy strives to offer the best service levels in the industry.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.Upon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal-agreements.aspx.Our customer purchased a transfer for the domain in question on March 15, Since that time, our customer has manually renewed their domain on a yearly basis. On February 24, 2018, our customer manually renewed the domain in question for a one-year term via online transaction On March 4, 2018, our customer manually renewed the domain for an additional one-year term via online transaction Following each transaction, a receipt was emailed to the email address on file While GoDaddy sent receipts via email, we have no control over what happens to that email after it leaves our system, or how our customer's ISP or email client handles the email once received.RESOLUTION:GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service. The domain in question, having been renewed manually, would only be refund-eligible if canceled within days of renewal As this time frame has already passed, the domain is no longer refund-eligible.In review of our customer’s account, we are unable to locate any interactions where the customer was placed on hold for a two hour period If they are able to provide further details directly to [email protected], we would be happy to further investigate those concerns.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concernsUpon conducting business with GoDaddy, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at https://www.godaddy.com/legal-agreements.aspx.Our customer has two domain names currently in redemptionOn each domain’s renewal date, per our customer’s account preferences, GoDaddy attempted to automatically renew the domains in question in a good faith effort to honor its agreements with our customer, however, our customer's financial institution declined paymentsGoDaddy proactively sent multiple notices pre- and post-expiration to our customer.A domain's expiration date is not arbitrarily set by GoDaddyOur customer chose the initial registration date and termAt the time of purchase, our customer had many options available, such as recording the expiration date in their ledger or calendarWhile GoDaddy sent expiration notices to our customer via email before and after expiration, GoDaddy has no control over what happens to the email after it leaves our system or how our customer's ISP or email client chooses to handle the email once received Account management and renewal of domains is solely a customer responsibility, one our customer agreed to when registering domains through GoDaddyWhile we make a best effort to partner in our customers' success, our customers must also be responsible for their actions or lack thereof.RESOLUTION:GoDaddy upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service. As a one-time exception, GoDaddy is willing to fully waive the $redemption fee on each domain, provided our customer renews the domains prior to January 31, GoDaddy would be unable to fully waive recovery fees in the future.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am rejecting this because it isn't an offer or a resolutionIt's merely one more in a seemly endless repetition of GoDaddy's original demand that I must give up sensitive information in order to obtain even a partial refund.Additionally there are several erroneous statements in GoDaddy's response#my "account preferences" as set by me are always for manual renewalPERIOD! I'll specifically address this as follows: A4/2/through 5/15/- Yes we've had this argument beforeI wanted to cancel the business registration when I renewed manually on 4/2/12, but was not allowed to remove the automatically applied auto renew for the business registrationNote however that apparently due to the numerous complaints I am sure that GoDaddy received regarding this issue the forced autorenew was removed before the next due date as they show and my records confirm that I was allowed to manually renew on this domain in May of and again in May of BMay 15, - I never ordered a certified domainThere is no reference to an original order for it in GoDaddy's response or in my history of purchases at GoDaddyThe automatic "renewal" for this just appears out of nowhereThis begs the questionHow can one set their account preferences to allow for autorenewal of items never purchased? Obviously GoDaddy "pushed" this "service" on my account and now claims I "authorized" them to do so CMay 17, - as in B above I never authorized an automatic renewal on this accountThis autorenewal was forced on me as had been done beforeThe major difference is where previously they were forcing minimal charges (less than $10) this time they are charging more than $above the expected value DMay 17, part - I did contact GoDaddy's "support" line to dispute the additional year that was charged for both domain renewal and the unwanted "protected registration"After more than a half hour of dealing with uncooperative support persons, including an alleged "supervisor" and being told that there was no higher authority that I could speak with (yet another lie) I finally succumbed to the abusive, belittling and arrogance of "***" and I delivered an invective laced response to his lack of assistanceIf I had truly made a "physical" threat (which means I would have to take a physical action which is rather difficult over the phone) then GoDaddy would have no doubt filed charges and had me detainedNo physical threat was made and no reasonable person would presume that anything I did say could actually be carried outBut as this is the only thing Mr [redacted] seems to have to say besides the "company line" (We can't refund you until you give up personal information.), I guess he feels it gives him some justification for having stolen my moneyRE: "Resolution" GoDaddy's statement that they value my business is disingenuous at bestMy account preferences have never been set to autorenew anything except when GoDaddy has done so without my informed consentThey have done so repeatedly over the years for small amounts but went too far this timeOn May 21, I sent Mr [redacted] an email stating that I would drop all requests for a refund and conclude this complaint if they would simply remove the automatic renewal from this account; No cancellation of any services, just a simple end to them automatically debiting my bank accountAn associate of Mr [redacted] 's declined the requestSince Mr [redacted] makes no mention of this in his response I must presume that he also declined my offer(Now for the fun part) Some might ask why I would be willing to drop everything if they would just drop their automatic renewalWell, earlier in the day on May 21, I received a call from another corporation I have an account withThe call was to inform me of some new services that were being included free of charge to my accountOne of the items was a website hosted by GoDaddyI let my account rep know that GoDaddy was now the equivalent of a curse and that he probably shouldn't mention that to me againMy Account rep asked for and was told about my issue with GoDaddyAnd then that account rep did something amazingHe informed me that this information would be passed up the chain of command as GoDaddy was considered a corporate partner and this company doesn't like being associated in such a negative fashionand then he credited my account with them for the entire amount I have been charged by GoDaddySo, GoDaddysomeone else did what you should have done from the get goAnd since I suspect that I am not the only one you have taken advantage of this way, and that your corporate partner has and may continue to hear of your unprofessional, anti-consumer policies, that your "partnership" may not be so for much longer. In the end your greed will destroy youTaking money you really didn't have the right to will probably end up costing you millions if not bring down the businessYou are crooks and people know itMore are learning it every dayI gave you every opportunity to do the right thing, in your greed you refused and rubbed my nose in your refusalYou don't deserve to be treated "professionally"Just because you hide behind "fine print" doesn't make you any less a thief than a typical sidewalk mugger, no less a thug than any gangbanger in any inner cityI do not wish you well. With Ill Regards, [redacted] ***

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer’s additional concernsSince the original purchase of the Dedicated Server, our customer has paid approximately $to $per month for renewal The amount paid by our customer for the upgrade in this case, $6.08, would not renew most GoDaddy monthly shared hosting plans, let alone a dedicated server product. As a one-time exception, GoDaddy has extended our customer’s dedicated server for a one month term Our customer is solely responsible for any future renewals or upgrades of the products in their account, and no further exceptions will be provided.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the additional concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Mike L***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

GoDaddy.com LLC has missed the markAlthough, we did come to agreement on the additional charges leviedGoDaddy.com LLC has failed to completely restore my website.I have attached to this rejection response, a snapshot of my website homepage as restored by GoDaddy.com LLCAs you can see, the majority of the home page is missingBefore it was dismantled it contained before and after photos of my completed projects and a narrative about what my company does.'What happened to my home page content? I would like it to be restored to its original condition and content

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to meHowever, I think it is necessary for the business to perform clearer confirmation and makes the new renewal prices & dates clear and sound in their email's bodiesI will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted] **

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer’s additional concernsThe email referenced by our customer was not related to their Managed Wordpress hosting service with us, which remains active within their accountRather, the email was in regard to the transfer of their domain name registration away from GoDaddyAccount management, including the cancellation of services no longer wanted or needed, is a customer responsibilityOur offer still stands to refund the latest renewal if the hosting is canceled by February 15, 2017.Thank you again for the opportunity to address the additional concerns presented by our customer.Kindest regards,Stephen J***Office of the CEO - GoDaddy

Their automatic renewal policy is misleading and should not be legalThere are numerous people who have voiced their concerns regarding this company and these practicesThis pattern of complaints demonstrates that their renewal process is not clear and has cheated numerous people out of their money for a service they do not want or use I explicitly expressed to customer service that I don't want this product and have still been forced to payNot to mention my credit card was charged without my explicit consentI don't think it's right to set a precedent that this policy is acceptable or a fair business practice
