Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/04/21) */ ***, Based on the information you have provided here (name and zip code), I am unable to find an account matching your personal information It's possible that someone may have accidentally used your email address to register for Credit KarmaI can remove your email address from our database if that is the case, but in order to do so, I will need you to email us at [redacted] @creditkarma.com and provide your name, date of birth, and reference Revdex.com #XXXXXXXX I apologize for any confusion and thank you for your patience Regards, [redacted] P Member Support Manager Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/04/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I have already requested that my address be removed and was told that was completed via Member Support Response XXXXXXX On a side note, under no circumstances will I provide my date of birth when a simple unsubscribe/list removal of an email address is the issue at handIn my previous interactions with your support team they did not ask for my DoB when handling my request

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/02) */ [redacted] - It looks like our support team has already responded to your request and given you further instructions as to how to deal with this informationThe account has been deactivated and we require documentation to attach the account to your email addressYou may also want to consider filing a police report and having the investigating officer reach out to us at ***@creditkarma.com Thanks for your patience, [redacted] P Member Support Manager

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, [redacted] ***

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/16) */ [redacted] - Credit bureaus use many different scoring models, even within the same credit bureauEach bureau can use dozens of different credit score models based on the requirements of different lenders Each credit score model has a slightly different formula that takes into account over different factors of your credit report; like a thumbprint, no credit score model is exactly the sameIn addition, credit scores can change anytime so you have to make sure you are comparing credit scores from the same day Hope this helps! If you have more questions, please feel free to let me know Regards, [redacted] P Member Support Manager Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/10/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I reported that I had checked my credit scores on Credit Karman and relayed this information to my Mortgage Broker, who stated let's verify with him running my credit through the system he uses for merged credit scoresThis was done within several minutes of each other, so stating that I should be sure that I am "comparing credit scores from the same day" is irrelevantThey did not read my initial complaint Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/10/26) */ [redacted] - My response also included the information that there are many different scoring models, even within the same credit bureauEach bureau can use many different scoring models based on the requirements of the lenderA mortgage lender, for example, may put a heavier weight on specific items in your report than a lender that is offering you a credit card or auto loan No credit score model is exactly the sameThe purpose of tracking your score on Credit Karma is to know and understand the factors that impact your score over timeIf you intend to apply for credit, it is always important to ensure that the data on your report is up-to-date and accurate so the score that is pulled when you formally apply is based on the most accurate information possible Thanks for your patience, [redacted] P

It appears you have contacted our support team twiceThe last update we provided to you is that both your federal and state taxes have been marked as accepted Let me know if you have other questions

There may be a misunderstanding hereWhen there is a possible fraud situation, an agent will immediately deactivate the accountIf a member chooses to have that account tied to their personal email, we will ask for verification documents so we can update the account and change the email address If you would like a followup, I would be happy to personally look into this for youPlease email us again here: [redacted] and include "Revdex.com Complaint" in the subject line so I can locate your emailThanks,***- Member Support

[redacted] - Unfortunately, we can't know for sure if lenders will approve or decline applications, as it's totally up to the lenderHowever, we do the best we can by basing our approval odds on historical data.Credit Karma estimates your Approval Odds by comparing your credit profile with data about other members who were approved for this productThough Approval Odds do not guarantee approval, they can show you which products may be a better fit for you. We'll be the first to admit that we don't always get it right, but please know that we're always working to build better models and give people the best information that we canOur goal is to always do what's best for our members.Regards, [redacted] **Member Support Manager

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The business wishes me to provide personal information in order to cancel an account I never signed up forIt is precisely because I do not wish to share personal information with this business that I want the account cancelledIn light of the Equfax breach and many like it it is absurd to think my information would be safe and/or not monetised by this companyQuite simply: They know who I am, they know the account in question, and they know I want it cancelledTo require more personal information from me to do this is unethical at best, and possibly illegal Sincerely, [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/10) */ [redacted] - Credit bureaus use many different scoring models, even within the same credit bureauEach bureau can use dozens of different credit score models based on the requirements of different lenders Each credit score model has a slightly different formula that takes into account over different factors of your credit report; like a thumbprint, no credit score model is exactly the sameIn addition, credit scores can change anytime so you have to make sure you are comparing credit scores from the same day On your Credit Karma account, you will see the VantageScore scoring model, provided individually by TransUnion and Equifax VantageScore incorporates a broader set of credit-related data and can score up to million more people than other modelsWith so many different scoring models out there, you never know which score a bank will use, but VantageScore is a strong predictor for what the banks may see Please let me know if you have any further questions Regards, [redacted] P Member Support Manager Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/11/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Unfortunately (or fortunately) mortgage /loan lenders only use Three Leading Credit Score Bureaus: Transunion, Equifax and ExperianWhat credit-score MODEL those Bureaus adhere to I don't careAll I want to know is my creditability (unless, my credit is in red zone, then I will be looking deeper)After all, it doesn't matter to me what model is used, - I have no influence to the outcome of used models, only to my own doing: paying in time, having long credit history, having some existing credit, etcYour site provided me with Transunion score which was tremendously low comparing with your information given to me three weeks priorThe latest score from you wasn't even close to REAL Transunion credit scoreNothing on your web site explained WHY my score dropped that lowYou only gave me some vague description about using different modelsand not a word about what affected MY Credit ScoreAs a result, I assumed identity theft and didn't have a choice but to get my TRUE scores from FreeCreditReport.com and paid them $which showed me I was in a good shape after all (I used three bureaus report to be 100% sure; the reason I ended up paying $$)I am insisting you inform your potential users in a future, that information you provide (second time) is NOT the REAL Transunion score, but something similar to Transunion MODEL Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/11/23) */ [redacted] - I'm sorry for the confusionThere is no "one true credit score"This is why I provided you with the previous response On our site, you will see your VantageScore score provided by TransUnion and Equifax When you go and apply for a loan or a credit card or any kind of credit through a lender, you will likely not know what scoring model they are usingEven if you do know that they use VantageScore or FICO, there are many different modelsOne could be an auto-loan model, one for a mortgage, etcThese models can take into account many other factors Separately, the score is not the only factor taken into account when you apply for creditThere are many other factors, such as your income, your income:debt ratio, your length of employment and many other factors could all contribute to a lending decision The information shown in the Credit Factors (https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/scores/) were developed by Credit Karma as a way to present the key components impacting your credit score in an easily understood format Please keep in mind that the factors as they are presented here ("Excellent" to " Very Poor") do not directly affect the credit score calculation you see on this https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/scores/ , as those scores are created using the VantageScore model, and are provided by TransUnion and by Equifax The Credit Factors are only meant to help members see how they compare on averageThe "Excellent" to "Very Poor" are determined by averaging the scores of Credit Karma members within each rangeThis doesn't mean that all members with a "Poor" or "Very Poor" in one particular category will have a low credit score, but that *on average [redacted] members within that range have a lower credit score Credit scores are based on many different factors and can change for unanticipated reasons We don't have specific insight into why your score dropped, so the best thing to do is to monitor your score and continue to make good financial moves to improve your score I'm sorry that your experience was not what you expected - please feel free to let me know if you have other questions Regards, [redacted] P

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: On everyones credit score page on Credit Karma it clearly shows your regular Transunion and Equifax scores with the original Transunion and Equifax logos and Credit Karma states right there that the scores are provided by Transunion and Equifax and it does NOT say anything at all about VANTAGE SCORE on that page, yet the original Transunion and Equifax scores that Credit Karma is claiming to show you are an outrageous to points higher than your real Transunion and Equifax scores They are deceiving you by showing you these much higher Transunion and Equifax scores and they know itI'm sure it draws more people to Credit Karmas site where they do plenty of advertising for creditors etc Sincerely, [redacted] ***
