Unfortunately, we can't know for sure if lenders will approve or decline applications, as it's totally up to the lenderHowever, we do the best we can by basing our approval odds on historical data
Credit Karma estimates
your Approval Odds by comparing your credit profile with data about other members who were approved for this productThough Approval Odds do not guarantee approval, they can show you which products may be a better fit for you
We'll be the first to admit that we don't always get it right, but please know that we're always working to build better models and give people the best information that we canOur goal is to always do what's best for our members

Thank you for your responseAs I understand your explanation, I believe that it is advertisementYou look into the history and data, etcand then say that I had a good opportunity based on my data, income, etcYou have a relationships with the companies that you advertise forI believe its unfair that my credit score dropped points for a recommendation that you sent to ME...the advertisement and failure to be clear that your suggestion of having great chances leds a person to believe in your service and that you are helpingThis did not help my credit it made it worseI respectfully request that something outside of your explanation be done to make up for this severe hardship you causedI look forward to hearing from you soon

I think you might be referring to a different site
Credit Karma believes that everyone should have a right to view his or her financial information completely free of chargeIn fact, no credit card information is required to sign up with
Credit Karma because our service is completely free!
Sometimes companies use the name "Credit Karma" without permission to get people to pay for their servicesIf this happened, and you remember the name of the company, let us know so that we can investigate further
Please let me know if you have any other questions

Credit bureaus use many different scoring models, even within the same credit bureauEach bureau can use dozens of different credit score models based on the requirements of different lenders
Each credit score model has a
slightly different formula that takes into account over different factors of your credit report; like a thumbprint, no credit score model is exactly the sameIn addition, credit scores can change anytime so you have to make sure you are comparing credit scores from the same day
Each scoring model has a slightly different formula for analyzing the many different factors of your credit report and each person has many different credit scores
On your Credit Karma account, you will see the VantageScore scoring model, provided individually by TransUnion and Equifax
VantageScore incorporates a broader set of credit-related data and can score up to million more people than other modelsWith so many different scoring models out there, you never know which score a bank will use, but VantageScore is a strong predictor for what the banks may see
Hope this helps! If you have more questions, please feel free to let me know

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 9, 2015/12/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
They provided sufficient details

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)How come your credit scores for me aren't even really what my credit score is? I got my actual credit score and it's almost points different then what you're telling me it is, so how is your website really supposed to
help me at all? I understand you can't always guarantee an approval, but how can I trust applying to anything you suggest if my credit score is a lie and you're being paid by these companies to advertise things for me to apply to so both them and you are making money from thisObviously my chances of approval weren't "Good" if I got deniedI'm very upset because I have this hard inquiry on my credit, and was denied for a card because they told me I have no credit score, when you're tell me I doI do now have a credit score for real and it's a different number then what you're telling me it is

Hi *** -
One or more of your answers to the personal credit information questions was incorrect, so this account is temporarily inaccessible
We understand the importance of keeping an eye on your credit health, so we have
granted you a second attempt at answering the verification questions here: https://creditkarma.com/auth/logon Please keep in mind while answering the verification questions that many banks and lenders will use abbreviations instead of the full bank name
Our system only allows this retry onceThe security questions are based on information from one or more of your credit reports from the three national credit bureausI'd recommend having your most recent credit reports available while answering these questionsYou can access a free copy of your credit report annually from each of the three national credit bureaus here: https://www.annualcreditreport.com
Let me know if you have additional questions,

You can always contact Credit Karma Support here: https://***en-us/requests/new
It looks like Equifax was unable to identify your credit file with the personal information you providedThis usually occurs if your personal information doesn’t match what Equifax has on
file, you have an active security freeze, or you haven’t established enough credit with Equifax yet.Keep in mind that even if you have established a credit file with one credit bureau, it is possible that your lenders do not report your account information to the other bureaus. If you’d like to try updating your personal information, you can do so in your account settings here: https://www.***myprofile/personalIf you have additional questions, you can contact Equifax directly

It looks like you opted to allow Credit Karma to check participating lenders for pre-approved personal loan offers for you here on Credit Karma (https://www.creditkarma.com/myprofile/preferences).If you would like to opt out, please simply navigate to that page, and type STOP into the field to stop
future pre-approvals
It sounds like you received this message because you did not meet the lender's pre-approval requirements. You never actually applied for this loan and no hard inquiry was made on your credit reportThe only information passed on to this lender was gained via a soft inquiry, which will not appear on your credit report and won't affect your score at all. Please let me know if you have any further questions about this matter

Your credit score can change at any time, or stay the same for quite some timeThere are many factors that impact your score, so specific credit activity may not always result in the kind of change you expect
We've recently
upgraded our site to feature VantageScore credit scores (provided separately by TransUnion and Equifax)VantageScore is not the same as a FICO score, and it focuses more on recent credit history, which may be why you see more frequent changesEach scoring model has a slightly different formula for analyzing the many different factors of your credit report
VantageScore incorporates a broader set of credit-related data and can score up to million more people than other modelsWith so many different scoring models out there, you never know which score a bank will use, but VantageScore is a strong predictor for what the banks may see
You can read more about VantageScore here: https://www.creditkarma.com/article/VantageScore-3-

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/01/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Since their process includes a confirmation email, they should be automatically removing unauthorized accounts if they get such a request in replyAsking for more information is not only a privacy issue but, as I previously stated, will probably not match up with the data in the accountIt doesn't matter whether someone put in an incorrect email addressThat email address is used for login and account validationIf a person put in the wrong email address, the account should be removed anyway since the user who opened the account will probably never figure that out and will open a new account anywayThey need to change their process to just remove the offending accountI thought that was the whole point of the confirmation email in the first placeEven in their reply above, they are requesting more information which they do not needI'm not happy that it took several requests to them and submitting a complaint to the Revdex.com to get them to remove my email addressThey need to change their policy on thisThat would resolve the issue

Hi *** -
Unfortunately, sometimes people make mistakes and typos when entering their informationWe have no way of knowing this until someone like you sends us an email to let us know that the email address that was registered does not belong to the person who may have used it accidentallyWe have removed your information and this case should be closedThanks for your patience

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
*** *** I have received of emails going back and forth with them saying that it hd got rejected on the 30th but haven't received anything concerning about the second time I sent it to them on the 2ndCause in there website all it says is that it's still pendingBut yet the first time they sent it the the IRS I got a email saying the sent it to themThe second time around I didn't receive no such email saying they sent it to themSo I'm thinking they have sent to send it on there end

This does not appear to be a bug with the platform; rather, that your 1099-R is incorrect It should read Newark DE, not Newark NJ (*** is a Delaware zip.) You can call the issuing organization for a corrected copy, or you can enter the correct state and file
Thanks for your patience

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, *** ***

All of the credit report information on Credit Karma comes straight from TransUnion and Equifax, two of the three major credit bureausWe're not a credit bureau, so we don't have the ability to make changes to your credit
report
At Credit Karma, we focus on providing credit score and credit health resourcesIf you would like to review your full credit reports, please click on the following links to view your report:
TransUnion credit report: https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/creditreport/transunion#overview
Equifax credit report: https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/creditrep ort/equifax#overview
To correct errors you see on Credit Karma, you must file a dispute directly with the credit bureau that shows the error
To file a dispute with TransUnion, please head over to the TransUnion site here: http://www.transunion.com/personal-credit/credit-disputes/credit-disputes.page /> To file a dispute with Equifax, please head over to the Equifax site here: https://www.ai.equifax.com/CreditInvestigation/home.action
NOTE: The 10-digit confirmation number is *not required* to fill out this form
You can also find more information on the dispute process here: http://www.creditkarma.com/article/dispute-credit-report-errors

You have a number of different items to address, so please be sure to read through each of these items below
Your credit score can change at any time, or stay the same for quite some timeThere are many factors that impact
your score, so specific credit activity may not always result in the kind of change you expect
The information shown in the Credit Factors (https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/scores/) were developed by Credit Karma as a way to present the key components impacting your credit score in an easily understood format
Please keep in mind that the factors as they are presented here ("Excellent" to " Very Poor") do not directly affect the credit score calculation you see on this page: (https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/scores), as those scores are created using the VantageScore model, and are provided by TransUnion and by Equifax
The Credit Factors are only meant to help members see how they compare on averageThe "Excellent" to "Very Poor" are determined by averaging the scores of Credit Karma members within each rangeThis doesn't mean that all members with a "Poor" or "Very Poor" in one particular category will have a low credit score, but that *on average* members within that range have a lower credit score
On our page, you will see many disclaimersRegarding our Approval Odds: We look at how your credit profile compares to other Credit Karma members who were approved for this productOf course, there's no such thing as a sure thing, but knowing whether your Approval Odds are Very Good, Good, Fair or Poor may help you narrow down your choices
When you leave our site to visit one of our partner sites, each partner also provides a number of disclosures during the application process
If you did not authorize the hard inquiry, it can be removedIf you have a hard inquiry that you did not authorize, you may need to file a dispute with the credit bureaus to have it removed
Please feel free to let me know if you have any more questions
