Review: I have had Cricket service for years and for the most part have been satisfied with it. However, AT&T just bought them out. Now, suddenly, my phone does not receive calls. Every call goes directly to voice mail with no notification. Numerous other issues exist and Cricket personnel have worked hard to try to resolve the issue. They can't. I am in a job in which I am on call and must be able to return calls within 10 min. of being contacted or I will be fired. Because of the disaster caused by AT&T, I have had job issues and had to purchase a new phone and service because no one can make my phone ring. Nightmare!!! I still have no cover or case for my new phone because of the cost. I also canceled my bank drafts for payment today and asked for a confirmation email to make sure that I have no further withdrawals since all they do is mess things up worse than they were before. They refused and won't even send me a confirmation that they will not withdraw any more money. They just charged me yesterday so they owe me that money back for a service they can't provide. What a disaster that could have cost me my job. I want a call from the CEO....I'm tired of working with people who have no power to make changes or correct problems. I spent 2 1/2 hours in that stupid store today trying to get help and45 min. on the phone with text services. This is worse than buying a house. What a disaster. Why couldn't you just leave me alone?

Dear Sir/Madam,

This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by [redacted] regarding Cricket service. In her complaint, Ms. [redacted] states that recently her phone started having issues where all of her calls immediately went to voicemail. She claims this is after we merged with AT & T. She says she has worked with our Technical Support department to no avail. According to Ms. [redacted], her job makes it necessary for her to call back people within 10 minutes or she could get fired. Therefore, she bought a new phone. In addition, she states she has cancelled the “payments” we are taking from her account and she wants proof of its cancellation. Ms. [redacted] is requesting we stop taking monies from her account, wants reimbursement of monies we “took” from her account and reimbursement of the new phone she purchased.

We apologize to Ms. [redacted] if she felt she received poor service or was inconvenienced in any way. Cricket strives to provide excellent customer service and we regret when that high standard is not met.

In researching this complaint, we show that Ms. [redacted] was enrolled in our Automatic Bill Pay from February 18, 2012 until July 31, 2013. As we mentioned in her last complaint, each month around the 10th we receive a $35.00 payment via Electronic Firstech. These payments appear to be automatically drafted and are processed as electronic checks. She is the one who has control over these payments, and she is the only one who can stop those payments.

With regard to Ms. [redacted]’s phone not working, we see notes on the account for some initial troubleshooting on the device. In addition, a number of calls made to her (over a 3 day time frame) from our Tier II Technical Support department to work on this, but she never returned their calls to attempt to resolve the problem. Not knowing whether or not we could have corrected her issues by working with her, we will not be reimbursing her for the purchase of a new phone. While we understand that Ms. [redacted]’s issues with the incoming calls may have inconvenienced her, we are unable to extend any reimbursement or credit for this matter.

I am leaving to go to another country in which it occured unexpectly so I wanted to disconnect all servies. I will still be able to email you all via email and the adress is also five it would get fowarded to me but to continue. Review: I have a phone from Cricket and the phone heats up to the point that it burns my hand and fface. Sometimes I can not answer it due to the heat it hold. I have been to Two different stores in my city and was told my device was under warranty but the company wants me to pay 40.00 for a 60.00 phone. Review: I called cricket wireless customer service to activate a new line of service and to purchase an iphone for my daughter on dec 2, 2014. The customer service rep took my credit card info and did not say how much the total was or that she was processing the payment, but did so anyway without me knowing. When I asked her, the total was for $374.15. I knew this was wrong. I questioned her about this and realized she ordered the wrong iphone. I requested the payment be stopped but the supervisor said that couldnt be done. I also requested the right phone be sent to me and they could just refund the difference to me but again they said this couldnt be done. The supervisor said to refuse shipement on the phone when it arrives by ups and I would be refunded in 3-5 business days. I did this. Well 3-5 business days passes and still no refund to my card. I call and spend hours on the phone and they tell me they cant find my order and are asking for an order number. The customer service rep said they would email that info to me when I first ordered the phone but that didnt happen. So I have no order number, no tracing number, and I dont even have that phone number of that phone. They proceed to tell me that it will take two weeks for a refund. No refund after two weeks and I call again. After yet again hours they tell me it will be thirty days till I get a refund. I wait again and still no refund after 30 days. I call again and get the same hours again on the phone and they transfer four different times to rude people. They hang up on me and I have to call back twice and no one can give me any answers. Not only this but now as of Dec 31, 2014 another charge of $62.04 shows up on my card from nowhere without my permission for cricket wireless. I call about this also and again they tell me the same thing again that it will be thirty days and they will look into the charge. I have no idea where or why this charge is on my card. Please help me get my refund back asap.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund of 374.15 from the phone that was incorrectly ordered by the cricket customer rep that I never received and never used. I do not know the number of that phone number because they would not give it to me. I have two active lines that are with cricket [redacted] and [redacted] so that there is no confusion. Review: I went to Cricket to reactivate a phone I purchase in dec 2012 from them. I stopped service in March 2013. The salesperson told me if I wanted the music download function I needed to upgrade my service package to the unlimited package which I did. When I got home about 20 minutes later I realized the phone did not work. I called technical service and then informed me this phone cannot work to full potential on their network any longer. I then asked for a refund because I could not use the service I paid for. They told me NO REFUNDS. Next day I called the store. I was given the same reply. I explained the salesperson misrepresented the service and I had paid for something I could not access. The manager refuses to call me. I cannot get any remedy to a situation I identified within an hour of happening.Desired Settlement: I would like a total refund of the 82.94 which was the service and activation fee

Review: I had a LTG Thunderbolt phone that wanted to get CRICKET WIRELESS service on. I spent $40 for the flash, $34 (set up fee) and $45 for the unlimited CRICKET SERVICE. The representative selling CRICKET SERVICES never told me that the service may not work by flashing my LTG phone to CRICKET. I paid a total of $115.00I came to my home and made my very first call, the quality was so bad, I couldn't hear the person on the other end. I kept saying "HELLO", then the call ended. I tried at least six times to call this person back to have a conversation, but could not. The calls kept on dropping instantly. I did not get the service I paid for. Not even one phone call!I couldn't believe it! I wanted to cancel. So, I called CRICKET customer service and asked them if they train the people who sell their services (3rd party vendors), about transparency, letting clients know about various phones and adding CRICKET services. It does not state in CRICKET'S policy that CRICKET'S third party vendors selling CRICKET services that they must inform clients that non-cricket phones DO NOT work with CRICKET SERVICES. After speaking to four CSR's and finally reached the refund Dept. The CSR at the refund Dept. asked me if I paid cash, CC or check for the service. I told him I paid cash. He said I don't think I can refund your $$ back, he put me on hold for a while only to say "NO" we won't refund your $$. I said I wanted to speak to the Manager. The manager said he would send me all the information to my e-mail address and the $45 refund would take 1 week to 10 days. I have never received an e-mail yet from CRICKET, nor any refund. This company must be stopped! They are ripping people off left and right. I'm unemployed and can't afford to throw away $$ like this. I need a phone and service in order to get a job Please help and please view the reviews about this company. Review: I place 4 orders with Cricket. one phone and 3 sim cards I also had to pre purchase a month in advance of service for each line to be able to complete the order.. They claim one of the numbers cold not be ported. We all have the same service. I immediately tried to cancel the other orders. They were running a promotion that required all 4 lines be acive. I was told I could not cancel any orders. I was told I would have to let the orders ship and than return them. They cancelled 2 of the orders due to porting issues. When I got the orders I called to get the return shipping info. I was on the phone 2 hours transferred 6 times disconnected 3 times was sent back to the same person 3 of these times who Asked "why did they send you here". It was than that I was told that sim cards were non refundable. And I would also be charged a $25. restocking fee. After I posted a comment on [redacted]. A rep contacted me and asked me to email them and I would recieve a response directly. After 24 hours still no response. I feel this is a company who is stealing from their cuatomers. I suggest going to cricket wireless on [redacted] just to see the number of complaints. If it is relevant I will give the order numbers for the two orders in question. I tried to cancel immediately and was told I was not allowed and than there was the tricky non refundable sim and suspicious $25. restoking fee.

Review: I purchase iPhone's 5 to our company from Cricket over a year ago when I purchase them iv'e been told by the sales rep's that all the phones are unlocked for international use now, after one year of use, some of the phones got locked, and I can't use them any more . Iv'e contact cricket and talked with manger named [redacted] and he says that all my phone was unlocked because I purchase and activate them before June 18/2013 and he don't know why that are locked now. he asked me to contact apple and apple says that it's all up to cricket and that they can't unlock my phones and that it's cricket that locking my phones. I am now between 2 companies that agree that my phones should be unlocked but no one willing to unlock them for me.Desired Settlement: get my current locked phones (total of 5 as of now) - unlocked as promise and if any other phone will get locked in the future again- unlocked him

Review: I was in the dealer cricket store on 2nd street in El Cajon, CA phone number [redacted] when making purchase. They sold me a refurbished phone. They assured me I had 7 days to retrn if it wasn't working. I came back in 2 days later because it does network error and does not connect to the internet very often They told me this happens and towers sometimes are down, and sometimes the phones don't connect. I wasn't happy with that but, ok...I see. So then I finally got a day off because my phone never would connect, and went to the [redacted]. They told me cricket sold me a [redacted] phone for the [redacted] network. This is why it never works. I went by the Cricket store in El Cajon, same as the one I purchased it from, and they told me they were going to definitely get it replaced. Just not immediately. So I leave and wait. I still have not received a phone call, and I called the manager [redacted] at this store and he tells me he's not responsible to help me because he doesn't care that he sold me a [redacted] phone, and there is nothing he's willing to do. and that it is what it is. He said he'd make a few phone calls, but he's not 'worried about it' and he's not going to take responsiblity. This is not right. Review: I returned a phone the galaxy s4 on 7/2/13 on receipt they say a $35 or $25 restocking fee...I was charged $67.75 restocking fee.....Was told taxes was added to that fee but it doesn't say that on receipt....When I first purchased the phone the sale agent lied about the price of the phone and charge me for 2 products for $24.99 which she said was free but was not free....This store is doing crooked business there

Review: I made in-app purchases that I hadn't received the full product on. When I contacted Cricket Wireless and spoke with a representative I was told that no charges were to be made to my card and nothing would show on my account. Because of that conversation, I made an additional purchase that was supposed to go through. One week later I see that I am being charged on my credit card for all three purchases. I proceeded to contact Cricket Wireless again to discuss the reason behind it. I was then informed that they wouldn't be able to see the purchases made because that is not part of their system and I would need to call a different number and company to get that resolved. If the original employee that I spoke with would have completely informed me of the details I needed to handle my discrepancy appropriately, I would have got in contact with the proper people to handle the situation and no extra money would've been spent. When I spoke with Cricket about, at the very least, getting $8 discounted from my bill due to the lack of clarity and efficient customer service given to me I was simply told no, they had no authority to discount me anything, even whilst knowing that the fault was their own. All the while, I'm having to talk to representatives that spoke to me as if I were an it.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate if Cricket Wireless could discount my bill the money that I spent after speaking with one of their employees who did not properly inform me of the actions I would need to take to resolve and be sure of the resolution to my original problem.

Thanks for Your Order Order Number: [redacted] Ordered on September 4, 2014 Hi [redacted],We've been working behind the scenes to complete your number transfer request with your current wireless company. Sometimes there are issues that happen and we can't complete the number transfer request without more information from you. If you call ###-###-####, a specialist can review the specific errors with your transfer request and get any additional information we may need to make it work and complete your order.In the meantime, we've cancelled your online order and the incomplete number transfer request with your current wireless company. Your bank may take 24-48 hours to restore the funds to your account.I have called every number possible to get my funds back I have spoke to 4 over phone reps and 10 online chat and 1 TL [redacted] who hung up on me and still no was to take the hold off my funds so I can get them back. I have every chat transcript of rude unable to help and when they no longer want to help disconnect the chat.8 tickets and days later no phone or refund. I have called the bank they advised that they have no info on the order being cancelled and cant release funds until cricket sends the a letter stating it was and date it was cancelled and date funds were sent back to the account.Desired Settlement: I would like my funds and of the order for free.I currently have active lines with the old cricket and this order would have been my transition to the new cricket. Review: The customer service is horrendous. They do not understand plain [redacted]. No matter how simple you make the question they turn it into a giant ordeal. I cringe anytime I have to call the 800#. The start if the horrible experience is that I have to provide account information to a phone system before I can speak with someone the annoying thing is that after entering this information I must repeat the exact same information to the person who FINALLY answers. Why do they not have something setup to keep from inconveniencing the people they have left on hold for sometimes upwards of 45 minutes to an hour? If my phone had not cost so much I would take my service and the rest of my families services to competitor who only charges for the services you actually want. Ihad data backup which was included not I have to pay more for a service I was already getting for free it is just robbery. I plan on writing a [redacted] about how this company performs and how they treat their customers. Other companies are cheaper.Desired Settlement: I would like them to look into possibly hiring in this country people who actually understand english, and not make us provide our account information repeatedly by the time they answer I am already pretty angry from the ridiculously long wait period where we spend time on hold listening to useless sales pitches or muve music crap that I don't even want on my phone to begin with. There are no options to get rid of services you do not want they are included whether you actually want them or not.

She feels that it is inconvenient to provide her account information to the automated system and then provide it again once an agent answers the phone. She said she has often had to wait on hold for more than 45 minutes. She states that Data Backup is no longer included in her service, now she has to pay more for a service she was already getting for free. Ms. [redacted] requests that Cricket consider hiring customer service agents within the United States. She also requests that Cricket consider changing their hold music and sales pitch messages.

We apologize to Ms. [redacted] for any poor service she felt she received. Cricket strives to provide excellent customer service and we regret when that high standard is not met. Her feedback has been forwarded to the call center manager for additional follow up and training. In this day of multiculturalism, Cricket embraces a diverse workforce. While we understand that the call center representatives may sound different, we train all representatives to provide excellent customer service.

Please be advised that several situations may make it difficult to speak to a Customer Service Representative when calling [redacted]. Customers may experience extended wait times during peak hours when call volumes are high. If Ms. [redacted] finds herself calling during late afternoon or early evening hours, the wait time may be longer. Alternatively, Ms. [redacted] may also visit a Cricket Store to speak with a Customer Service Representative. Effective March 23, 2014 Cricket’s MyBackup service and Unlimited 411/MyBackup bundles will be discontinued for all customers and devices. MyBackup will no longer be available in any rate plan or as an add-on feature. Ms. [redacted] can log onto [redacted] before March 23, 2014 to transcribe her MyBackup contact information. Alternatively, she can export her contacts from her phone to an SD card or backup with a Gmail account, as Google offers free services to synchronize contacts.

All of that was just canned response to a problem they always have, not at peak hours...at all hours. The reps can hardly understand [redacted], and they are not knowledgeable about anything specifically.

Review: I have a month to month payment plan with Cricket. Payment due date is the sixth of each month.I did not make a payment on August 6, 2014 and Cricket terminated my service on August 8, 2014. Cricket employee [redacted] (I.D. [redacted]) admitted that I did not receive any service for the month of August.On September 1, 2014, I paid Cricket $51.00 and Cricket stated that payment was for the month of August. When a customer is hotlined, they are still able to send and receive text messages, but their talk and data services are interrupted until payment is made. Mr. [redacted] made a payment on September 1, 2014 in the amount of $53.00 (including a $2.00 payment fee) which was applied to his bill of $51.00, due on August 6, 2014. This payment allowed him service until September 6, 2014, when his next bill was due. Mr. [redacted]’s account notes do not reflect any requests to cancel service during this time.

Per our Terms and Conditions of Service, amounts paid for service charges are non-refundable and account balances are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash. If an account is suspended or cancelled, for any reason, any remaining balance will be forfeited. Cricket’s Terms and Conditions can be found at www.cricketwireless.com/terms and Cricket recommends all customers check our website from time to time as these Terms & Conditions may have changed. These Terms and Conditions require the use of arbitration and an individual basis to resolve disputes, rather than jury trials or class actions. These Terms and Conditions limit our liability and the remedies available to you in the event of a dispute. Based on these Terms and Conditions Cricket will not be providing a refund for Mr. [redacted]’s service.

I am not satisfied with the response from Cricket. The entire bill for August was $53.00 and was due on August 6, 2014, this would have been good until September 6, 2014. I did not make a payment on August 6, 2014 and on August 8, 2014 Cricket terminated my service.

Review: I bought a phone and was promised as part of the purchase a $50 mail in rebate. I complied with all the conditions and sent in all the proof of purchase from the box and the receipt and rebate form. I got a rejection slip today saying CTN was not found. No explanation of what the CTN was and the rebate form did not ask for it.Desired Settlement: I want the $50 rebate that I was promised. Your company promised this and it was part of the reason I bought the phone.

Review: My cell phone bill is $45.38 each month but as of 9/3/2013 I have a credit of $45.38. Cricket wireless ACH DEBIT from my debit card ending in 2148 of $90.76,CONFORMATION #[redacted]. I did not authorize this payment to be ACH DEBIT .I WANT MY $90.76 CREDIT BACK TO MY DEBIT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.Desired Settlement: Refund $90.76 back to my debit card and Cricket Wireless is NOT TO ACH DEBT FROM MY CARD EVER AGAIN! !!

Review: on 2/22/2014 I paid for march services my bill is due on the streets 24th of every month .I changed carriers on 2/24/2014 and had my number transfer ed to the new carrier .I called customer I tried to get my money back it was then I was told theyhave a no refund policy I was told I was just out of luck I work hard for my money as im sure you I do to and I dont like handing it to someone and not recieving a service for it I would like my 54.00 dollarsback they I dont have a right to keep it please help me thank youDesired Settlement: Would like my 54.00 cash back
