Review: I have two phone lines my bill was due 3/8/2013 I paid a bridge payment first and then I paid the rest of my bill and I have receipts to prove that I paid my bill, and they turned my phone off three times that month claiming I never paid my bill and they told me to send them a copy of my receipt , so I faxed my copy of my receipts to the retention department and they still claiming they never received it.( My bill was suppose to be 110.00, but they gave me a discount because they sold me a new apple I- phone and a refurbished Apple I-phone, and the refurbished one didn't work as they promised it would, so I ended up having to pay an additional 250.00 to get a brand new Apple Iphone so they told me they would take charge me 89.00 dollars plus tax for my first month billDesired Settlement: I would at least like some money credited back to my account or a month free for my inconvenience

I had already wrote a complaint and I had someone supposedly from Cricket by the name Of Josh contact me he told me he got the complaint from the Revdex.com and wanted to speak to me I have been trying to contact him since 4/30/2013 from when he called me and I always get a voice mail saying that no one could be reached and the operator was busy. So I called today 05/07/2013 his answer machine came on so I left another message but as I was hanging up something told me to call back so I did just that and some guy picked up and told me I had the wrong number talking about the company closed down and the number was switched to his cell phone
Review: I phoned Cricket to hook up my broadband for internet service. I payed 45.00 for a month of service. When I tried to download the broadband onto my computer it wouldn't work. So I called them and talked to tech support at that time they informed me that the broadband was not compatible with windows 8. So I asked them to please reimburse me the money that they took from my card not even 10 minutes earlier. At that time they informed me that they did not do refunds. So now I am out of 45 dollars and I have no internet service. I feel like they stole my money. I don't know what to do. I have a activated broadband I can't use. Why didn't they tell me that this would not be compatible with the windows8 when I first enquired about getting the broadband activated. Please help me. All I want is my money back. Thank you, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my 45 dollars to be put back on my card.

Review: This will be the FOURTH time I will be complaining to the the Revdex.com about this company. So the new situation is this. So my phone which I have been in and out of the main store in [redacted], now a total of 11 times for this phone, finally went out on me. So what do I do I call Cricket Customer service and tell them again about my phone and they tell me that I have to go to the manufacturer to do a warranty exchange. So I call up Huawei the makers of my phone and this is where the run around begins. Huawei tells me that Cricket has a contract with them that states that Cricket will be doing all exchanges for Huawei thru their corporate stores. So I ahead again to the store and they tell me that there is no such contract with Huawei. Huawei tells me there is and they contact the store for me and guess what there is a contract between Huawei and cricket. So I call up Cricket and inform them of my problems. I am informed that because of all my problems I will be switched out of my phone in-store. I told the customer service rep. that I know they don't have this phone in-store because I ordered it online, she proceed to tell me she was leaving a note on my account to switch me to another phone that was the same price of the phone I bought. So I head over, surprised to no one, the manager flat out tells me they can't not help me and refused to show me the notes on my own account. So with no choice I go ahead and do the warranty exchange that leaves me without a phone for the last 5 days and because of the work I do lost hundreds in income and have been unable to contact my daughter. Well the problems do not stop here. I go to activate an old phone cricket phone that I bought when I first started when them and come to find out that I can not due to the fact that the ESN number had been stolen and used on an illegal account cricket refused to do anything to cancel the illegal account even though they told us to go to a corporate store to verify that I had possession which I did, and still nothing...Desired Settlement: First I would like to be credited for the all time and money I have spent going from store to store, i'm not asking for millions but I was told I would be credited a months bill. Also I would like to be place into a new phone not one that refurnished I paid for a brand new phone I would like to get a brand new phone I was promised galaxy S3 and I think with all the time and money I have lost trying to get all this fixed and getting the run around getting the S3 or S4 is the least Cricket can do.

Review: Hello, I purchased the phone and agreed to pay $50/month. The plan was to include unlimited talk text, and internet services. Once I received the phone, my text did not work. All the text messages were pending and never reached the recipient. Further, there were several calls that would not go through, and the internet did not work. I returned the phone the very next week. The total purchase price for the phone and service was $373. I only received $299.00. I called several times and each time the rep argued its in the policy not to refund for service. My argument is how can I be charged for a service that did not work and further I only had the phone for a week oppose to the entire service charge of a month. I requested to speak with management or the refund department and had no success.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $73.00. They did not provide the service I agreed to pay for.

Review: I contacted Cricket on Monday, 8/19/13 to order a phone and also sign up for monthly service. I was asked for a shipping address for the phone and gave my home address. I was not informed that a signature was required upon delivery or I would have given them my office address. The next day I received an email advising that a signature would be required upon delivery. I contacted Cricket customer service and was transferred 9-10 times all over the [redacted]. I repeatedly asked for a customer service phone number in the United States, but was refused every time. I asked to immediately cancel the transaction and was told that cannot be done until I receive the phone. I explained what should have been obvious, but clearly wasn’t, as it is one thing to speak English, it is a whole other issue to understand English. How can I receive the phone when I am not at home to sign for it? Why wasn't I advised that a signature was required? Because the customer service representatives were speaking from a script and were obviously not instructed to use logic, reason or basic respect. I was refused when I asked to speak to supervisors, I was disconnected and each time I called back, had to go through the scenario again with a new, equally unhelpful representative. You can't provide customer service when your employees don't understand what it is they're talking about.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card IMMEDIATELY credited and to never have anything more to do with Cricket.

Review: on august 4th 2013 I bought phone minutes totalling the amount of 70 dollars a 25 dollar prepaid card and a 45 dollar card. I called when I got home to add them to my phone. I was informed that for my kind of account they usually don't accept the type of cards I bought because they prefer me to use my debit card. the customer service lady then told me I could use them for this time only which was fine with me . (if I had known everything that would transpire I would have just went to the store and got my money back). my phone was turned on and stayed on for about 5 days, I called to ask what was going on because I had paid my bill the week before. they informed me that there was an investigation going with my phone because of my cards. so after about 20 minutes they told me it would be about a week before they could turn my phone on. I was not happy but allowed it to stay that way . I called back still waiting for my phone. to be turned back on. they still had no answers for me . by this point I was very upset because I have drs offices that call for my child . I didn't want to have to go thru another carrier and have to change my number. to make a long story short my phone was off a total of 19 days in august, they credited some of my money back but in September I ended up having to pay 17 dollar and my phone is now off again. I have no idea what to do. I feel like they don't care because they are a big company.Desired Settlement: I would like my phone turned back on and an apology for their actions I do not like being without a phone and feel like ive been their customer for over a year I deserve respect.

Review: I went into the Cricket Store at [redacted] in [redacted] on July 22, 2013 to find out why my cell phone was not charging. The salesman said the phone "was no good" and that over time the charger stops working because the plug wears out. In the meantime, he sold me a "better" phone which turned out to be piece of junk. It's unfortunate that I did not realize until I went to the [redacted] concert that the camera on the phone did not work. When I used the camera it caused all of the features on the phone. to stop working. The next day, I reprogrammed the phone by dialing [redacted], the phone reset, but then the problem occurred again. I then took the phone into the Cricket store on [redacted] in [redacted]. The reps in the store are anxious to sell their products, but they are not happy to hear about problems with the products they sell. After waiting in the store for 25 minutes the rep finally waited on me, only to send me home with the same broken phone that I came into the store with. He advised me to contact their service repair company by dialing [redacted] since I'd had the phone 34 days which was 4 days longer that the 30 days they require the cell phone be replaced. I explained to him that the camera never worked and I'd only discovered it when I went to the concert. He apologized and said "there is nothing" he can do. I contacted their repair company and I was told that I had to pay to ship the phone to them. When I refused to spend additional monies on the phone, I contacted [redacted] direct. Their rep explained the process and since it would leave me without a phone for 2 weeks, she suggested I go to Cricket and ask for a loaner. I went to Cricket and asked for a loaner, and found they don't give loaners. Since I had my old phone, I asked Cricket to allow me to use that as a loaner, they said they would charge me a fee.I refused to pay a fee.I told them I've been a loyal customer, he said, "sorry I can't help you". I left the store and promised that I will be closing my acctDesired Settlement: I want Cricket to acknowledge my relationship with them by refunding my money. They can have all of the items back that was on the receipt of the cell phone purchase. I am a very unhappy Cricket consumer. I've contacted [redacted] who is repairing the phone, to see if they would refund me. Their representative responded to advise me to contact Cricket direct for a refund. Since I'd already done so, I decided to launch this complaint. Cricket is CUSTOMER UNFRIENDLY unless you are spending money.

Dear Sir/Madam,
This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by [redacted] regarding Cricket service. In his complaint, Mr. [redacted] states that he purchased a new phone from a Cricket store. He returned to the store the following day because the phone didn't work. The store employee tested his phone and told him he would need to update the phone. He returned to the store six times, and they are asking him to pay a $10.00 insurance fee. Mr. [redacted] states that he paid $79.99 for the phone but the store is now selling it for $29.99. We apologize to Mr. [redacted] for any inconvenience or poor service he felt he received. Cricket strives to provide excellent customer service and we regret when that high standard is not met.
All new phones that are purchased from Cricket come with a one year manufacturer’s warranty. I purchased a new [redacted] Discover phone last Oct. but it never worked from the minute I got the phone. I took the phone back the next day & they told me I need to refresh my phone! It still didn't work. I returned to the store 4 more times & they kept saying the same thing. After 30 days they told me the phone was no good & I needed to buy a new one because it was over 30 days. I returned again & talked to [redacted] the rep. that first helped me & he credited my account for the $10 replacement fee. They told me it would be 3 days but I went without my phone for 9 days & I went in & my new phone was already there but they never called or emailed me to notify me it was there. I have had my new phone for approximately 10 days & it's locking up also. Do they sell used phones. I called & they are going to take everything off my phone again in the factory reset. I lost my sons xmas pics. already. Now I am going to have to send the phone to [redacted] & go without my phone for 15 days & pay Cricket for service . I have paid for two & a half months service & not received it! I'm disabled & my son cannot reach me on his phone that I'm paying for. He tried to call me this morning but couldn't get me. Why can [redacted] fix or replace phones free but not Cricket. I didn't buy my phone online. I bought it in the store but they keep charging me to ship the faulty phone they sold me.

A few moments later a representative answered to tell me that I was in a location with 4g capabilities and I needed the 5 gb data to get it. I checked my account and was not true. My account with the 2.5gb was capable of 4g. Then they put me on hold for 5 mins to transfer me to a complete different service. My biggest complaint is why sell me a service that was not available?Desired Settlement: customer service is very poor. I know have a phone that I paid $330 for that does perform the way I hoped.

Review: I switched to Cricket in December 2013, ordered a brand new phone and paid for the service. The first time they screwed up setting my market district in [redacted] instead of [redacted] area. So in order to get this issue resolved after arguing with Cricket representatives I had to call corporate because they wanted me to pay ANOTHER month in advanced for them to fix THEIR mistake. So finally after driving to a [redacted] store and them telling me they can't fix it and had them call corporate they fixed the issue. So I call them again and they trouble shoot every option possible and then have me reset the phone to factory reset losing all of my information and contact in the mean time and it still didn't work. There was a ticket filed with the people higher up from the call center and after two weeks they finally call me back and I tell them that the Internet works with wifi only so of course they close the case. Now my Internet and such still doesn't work I called again for them to do the troubleshooting and they can only credit me $10. When I've been paying for a service that is not fully functional for 3 months now and they claim they want to fix the problem but they want me to pay $41.00 just to take my money and take their time claiming they are fixing my phone. I've payed over $150 to them already for a service that partially works. I am about to switch back to straight talk. Their customer service reps and their policies do absolutely nothing for their customers.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded. I've payed for a phone and three months of service that I can only use when there is wifi available.

Review: The horrible customer service. False advertisement. I have been a long term customer off and on due to customer service. I was going thru financial issues which cause me to let my phone get disconnected. My bill cycle is due every month on the 15th. I requested a payment extenuation thru the automated mobile web system. It initiated. I payed within 48 hours the extension fee. They refused to restore my service. I was on the phone for an hour with different reps they refused stating it a policy to do with 24 hours.. They was no fine print stating that on the portal or inside any store. So I waited until I had the first and payed my bill feb 6th. So my service been restricted for almost a full month. My bill comes again on the 15th of February requesting the full amount. From my knowledge this is a prepaid service. How can you still charge the full amount if my due date is still the 15th. I haven't used a full month worth of service due to my due date still on the 15th. My serviced was hotlined requesting full payment again. They are scamming people. They also sent a pay know we pay for days you haven't used you service do to account being hotlined. They have yet to credit me or anything. Nor the try to.Desired Settlement: I deserve an appology for starters. I would like a month of free service or money off to buy a new phone. I have never been thru such trouble with a phone company I faithfully pay every month.

Review: Last month I went to my local Cricket store to sign up for the 5 phone plan for $100. I was charged $450 for 4 phone needed to sign up for the plan. I purchased 2 Samsung Galaxy Discovers & 2 Cricket Engages phones. I went to pay my first bill today and it was $194. I called they said I had to go to the store which I did. I don't feel like I got very good service. I noticed the phone I just purchase were $29.99 & $79.00 totaling $217.98, for 4 phones. I have no idea why I was charged $450. I feel totally ripped off and I am unhappy about the time consuming problems with the billing. Somehow I was shorted a phone also. I still need another Cricket Engage.Desired Settlement: I would like the $232.02 I was overcharged refunded and a Cricket Engage phone w/phone number to complete my five phone plan.
