Please see the attached file for our response.We are in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com dated February 8, regarding a notice you received from our law firm concerning payment on several outstanding citations owed to the City of Fort WorthPlease be advised this firm represents the City of Fort Worth in the collection of delinquent court fines and feesWe have researched the information on the defendant, [redacted] and found three outstanding citationsThe oldest violation is dated September 30, 2010, for a Minor Curfew-Parent Permit in the amount of $The next two offenses occurred on July 20, and include fines and court costs for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility $548.60, and for an illegal turn in an intersection, with fees and court costs of $ The total amount owed to our client is $1,457.30.Skip trace efforts were made in December to contact and notify Ms [redacted] of the outstanding amount on these citationsContinued efforts were made to locate Ms [redacted] , resulting in bad address mail returns.In January of we got the current address, which prompted our latest noticeThe fine amounts and court costs remain unpaidWe have verified with the court that the case is still activeMs [redacted] may contact our office to discuss payment on these outstanding citations

I am the Managing Partner of the [redacted] office, and have personally investigated this matter Our call records only show one call from the complainant, not ten, and said call was before 8:00am and thus before our office hours We did return the call, but did not leave a message as we treated it as a consumer debt We have contacted our client and confirmed that while the complainant made a partial payment, there is still an amount due as the complainant failed to provide our client with a valid NY EZPass tag number despite their request We want to help the complainant solve his problem Accordingly, if he would please call us at our toll free number of [redacted] , and enter extension [redacted] , he will be referred to our supervisor [redacted] who willl be happy to answer any questions he may have I trust this resolves the complaint, but do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance[redacted]

Ms [redacted] currently has a balance of $due to our client, the New York State Thruway Authority, for a toll violation that occurred on 11/16/ NYSTA has no record of a payment being received or applied to the balance and the account was sent to collections on 8/18/ Recently, we have had a higher than usual calls and most likely the reason Ms [redacted] has been unable to get through to a representative We do make every attempt to call back any messages left within hoursWe apologize for the inconvenience.We spoke with Ms [redacted] and supplied her with the online payment info as requested She stated that she will pay the balance in full online

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I tried calling the extension you provided three times today within business hours and the message I got was call cannot be transferred, and yes I did call ten times over the past month within business hours and left voice mail which were ignored, try dialing [redacted] from your cell phone at any time of day or night never will you get through to a human Regards, [redacted]

Ms [redacted] ’s letter was received on June 13, We mailed our response to Ms [redacted] on June 27, which included copies of the statements sent to her by Northwest Parkway, a current account statement from Northwest Parkway, and a copy of a photo of the vehicle using the Northwest Parkway We have verified that the amount owed, $is valid as shown in the documentation provided Despite Ms [redacted] ’s claim that the vehicle is not drivable, the photos show that the license plate on the vehicle is clearly Colorado license plate [redacted] and the vehicle matches the description of Ms [redacted] ’s vehicle, an Infiniti I The photos were not taken in a “parking lot” The vehicle was in motion when the pictures where taken; the technology is advanced enough to take a clear picture of a moving vehicle without it being blurred The statements show the date, time and location of Ms [redacted] ’s usageIn compliance with Ms [redacted] ’s request, we have only contacted her to respond directly to her letter – as requested - and to answer this complaint No other contact has been initiated by the firm There has been no violation of the FDCPA

The Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority (FBCTRA) and Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) are two different toll road agencies Addressing violations associated with HCTRA could not and did not address the unpaid tolls she accrued with FBCTRAThe notices mailed to Ms [redacted] by FBCTRA provided her clear direction on how to address the unpaid tolls and the consequence for not doing so in a timely manner Nowhere in the FBCTRA notices was HCTRA referenced as an appropriate option for resolving the tolls incurred HCTRA would have had no knowledge of these tolls incurred by Ms [redacted] .By Ms [redacted] own admission, her EZ Tag account was in a suspended status at the time she used the FBCTRA roads As such, the amounts owed by Ms [redacted] remain due and owing

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Mr [redacted] never owned a Nissan, and the license plate number mentioned was never on any of his vehiclesFurthermore, the date of birth the firm initially gave us was for someone much younger than Mr***We ask that they provide proof of their claims Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The Florida Uniform Traffic Citation that you sent has an Orlando, FL address, which is an old address of mineTherefore, I never received any notices about any of this in spite that I updated my address in my Florida's drivers license to my new address in Miami, FL Also, I used to have a Sunpass account to pay for my tolls, which I just checked and it's still activeI don't know the reason why the toll transactions in question were not debited from my Sunpass accountIn addition to that, what surprises me the most is that while checking my Sunpass account, I still have a credit of $so again, I don't understand why the amount in question was not debited from thereI'm attaching the summary page of my Sunpass account for your reference which shows that my account is Active and it corresponds to my Nissan Sentra vehicle with Florida's License Plate [redacted] back in the dayIt also shows a credit balance of $Please know that I am willing to pay whatever amount was not debited from my Sunpass account, but I do not take responsibility for not receiving these notices before since the same were sent to the wrong addressFor this reason I request my driving record in Florida to be cleanI am not responsible for not knowing about these violations before; otherwise, I would have submitted the corresponding payments on time, as I always did Please adviseThank youRegards, [redacted]

According to our client, the [redacted] Tunnels (ERT), after a reviewing the license plate on the account, the plate was misread and Mr [redacted] was mistakenly billed for the toll that occurred on a vehicle with similar a plate ERT has pulled the account from collections and Mr [redacted] is no longer responsible.We apologize for the inconvenience

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: No one contacted before sending this toll to the collection agencyTexas law requires a notice of violation before debts are turned over to the collection agencyThis never happenedIf the law firm was able to contact me for the first time five years after the toll, why did the toll authority not contact me before turning this over to a collection agencyThe firms response leads me to believe that I was recorded illegallyThis firm has violated Texas debt collection law:http://occc.texas.gov/consumers/debt-collection-practicesI will continue to file complaints with every relevant agency Regards, [redacted]

We reviewed this account upon receipt of Mr [redacted] ’s complaint Our system attempted to locate a better address for the account and Mr [redacted] ’s address in Michigan was located as a potential new address This was incorrect and the address has been removed Mr [redacted] should not receive any further notices as regards this accountWe apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate Mr [redacted] bringing this to our attention

Mr [redacted] states on the complaint the toll charges do not belong to him due to having an active EZ-Pass A vehicle with an EZ-Pass device belonging to Mr [redacted] was detected using the New York Thruway on 4/26/ Due to insufficient funds, NYSTA was unable to charge the toll to the EZ-Pass account The toll violation was invoiced and mailed to the address listed on the EZ-Pass account that was provided to NYSTA by Mr [redacted] ’s tag provider, the Maryland Transportation Authority After an additional invoice with no resolution, the account was forwarded to our firm for collection on 7/21/ The balance is due in full.We contacted Mr [redacted] and explained the breakdown of the balance Mr [redacted] stated he never received the invoices from NYSTA We explained that the address provided to NYSTA by the Maryland Transportation Authority was [redacted] ***, Chevy Chase, MD He acknowledged this was his previous address Mr [redacted] says he will contact MTA to confirm the address on the account and will call back for a resolution

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to meThis company only seeks to harm people and thief already difficult lifeIf I only have one key and that key is in Hawaii there's no way anyone used my vehicle to go thru tollsI accepted the lower amount because I have a background investigation pending and can lose my job without it so being forced to pay so I stay employed is like asking me to chose life or deathI have never received any notification from ERT or from this companyI have moved twice from that location prior to Dec and updated my address with USPS but because it's over a year I can not pull the recordsFighting a company full of lawyers when I don't have the money to hirer one myself is also crazy but I will continue to research this matter and intend on filing a notice to my congressman as to protections to active duty military Regards, [redacted]

The City of Kirby, will provide Mr [redacted] with the documents as long as he complies with the terms and procedures for copies of court documentsAs the City is our client, we mustrespect their wishes in this matter
