The client had been advised of the delay and was given a partial refund because of itThe wheels shipped out with UPS on the 24th and are actually slated for delivery todayWe apologize for the delay in updating the tracking information

After speaking with the manufacturer, we have convinced them to make an exception and take back the client's bumperWhen we stated he modified it, we were referring to the fact that his body shop sanded it downWe will be sending return paperwork in the next day or so

location the item was shipped to the business messed up by sending me a replacement after I specifically told them not to and now they are holding me liable for their mistakes

I am rejecting this response because: OMG this company is totally ignorant and incompetentPart number *** is the wrong part numberI need a *** *** Colorshift LED Controller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wrote this like five times in my previous letters here on the Revdex.com complaints and have contacted both CArid and *** about this as wellWhy are you so clueless? Can you read the letters before this???? Why are you making such a simple task so hard? It has already been a month! Worst customer service ever. If I return the headlights at this point I would have to take the whole front end of my car off to unbolt them (several hours labor)Then the car would not be drive-able till I got new headlights from a honest business that does not rip people off and give them the run aroundSend me the part I need (*** *** Colorshift LED Controller) overnighted/next day air and send me a full refund for the trouble!!!!! I leave for vacation for a week this weekend!

We apologize for the issue the client is facingThe client signed for his freight delivered item free and clear of damageThe client was made aware at the time of purchase that since it it a freight item, it must be inspected for any damageIf the item is damaged, he must sign the bill of lading
as DAMAGED, in order for CARiD to file a damage claimAs this is not the case, the client must file a damage claim on his ownWe are unable to do this for himBelow is our freight disclaimer as laid out on the websiteWe have a short video as well explaining the manner in which to inspect the item prior to acceptingThis policy is absolutely in the best interest of our clientsIf the damage is noted immediately, then the client is protected from the possibility of the freight company saying that the client damaged the itemWe are not placing the blame on the client at all, as we do not believe that he damaged the itemBut by the freight disclaimer not being followed correctly, the client has taken the ability to file a damage claim completely away from CARiD and he must file on his ownWithout that damage claim being filed and approved, we are unable to issue a refund or have a replacement processed. https://www.carid.com/help-center/freight-shipping-info.html

I am rejecting this response because: Yes they gave me a $refund but the fact that I was told that it would be shipping out on Oct and would receive it on Oct which is daysThe reason I did not pay for the expedite shipping is because their customer service rep kept telling me with ups ground that I would receive on Thursday Oct It did not ship until the next day at around a.m.
