of itIt is not that CarID is not willing to honor a warranty, but we do have to justify the claimWe have been in contact with them several times regarding this, and have been advised that without a picture, they will not approve the claimThe client may send the picture to *** and we will proceed with validating the warranty request

As we have a very good working relationship with *** and sell countless amounts of their products, we'd be interested to know who advised the client that they have nothing good to say about usThe client paid for this order with a cashier's checkIt's possible that at the time he inquired about the wheels, they had three sets in stockHowever as we are not the only supplier of *** products, it's entirely possible that by the time we received the check and it cleared, those sets had already been soldHis order was held until we had verification that the check had cleared, and the order was submitted on August 1st and marked as a priorityWe advised the client of the ESD and that these are custom wheelsThey can't be canceledThey have shipped with tracking # ***, ***, ***, and ***We gave the client a discount upon purchasing these wheels as well which is not our policy for wheelsWe can not issue a full refund and allow the wheels to be returned for any reason other than manufacturer defect

The wheels are within the acceptable fitment rangeHowever the client is unhappy with the look of them on the vehicle we will take the wheels back and switch out to a +offset The client will be responsible for reshipping the wheels and mounting of tires due to the fact that the
fitment has been verified

The client's spoiler has been approved for warranty Our client will be emailed with a return authorization and prepaid return label to return the spoiler Upon receipt of the spoiler a replacement will be processed and shipped out to satisfy the warranty claim

The order was processed in the correct amount of timeWhile I understand the client's frustration, CARiD has no control over what time UPS arrives at the manufacturer's warehouse to pick up an itemThe client agreed to the $refund, which has already been issued

This client has a very valid concernUnfortunately we were unable to source the wheel that was discontinued from anywhere else After working with the wheel manufacturer they have agreed to accept return of the wheels in the clients possession We will be sending the client a Pre-RMA checklist that will detail the return packaging requirementsThe reason for this is to ensure that in the event of any carrier damage during return the clients money is full coveredUpon receipt and inspection of the returned wheels the client will be issued a refund for his order

On March 30th the RMA details were sent to this client To date the supplied UPS label for the return that was sent on 3/was never used. ***On 3/we received the following message from the client:03/30/- 08:51AMJAVper cx's email "Kindly discontinue any further communication with me, also remove me from any future marketing and solicitation, I would like to opt out of your consumer database." (FRW to Justin G) (FRW to Kris K)Additionally, the client attempted a chargeback on 4/15, in which we responded, and on 4/we won that we were not liable for the chargeback. 04/15/- 06:04PMIRCHARGEBACK answered04/25/- 04:16PMIRCHARGEBACK WONAt this point, it is outside of our ability to assist this client with their issue

I called customer and apologized for the inconvenienceI am reviewing the reason for denial upon his request to speak to a Supervisor. Regarding the return core deposit, we received an email on 3/from the customer and on 3/we requested the refund from the manufactureOn the same day of
3/24, we refunded the customer, however we did not receive credit by the manufacture until 3/27.I am currently still working on his order to ensure quality assurance protocol was followed appropriately

While we do realize that studs with the incorrect thread pitch were sent, the issue was compounded by the actions of the person that originally installed the wheelsA lug nut is supposed to hand tightened on first, and then when it's realized that it's correct, you can tighten it with an impact
gunIn this case, the installer failed to torque it by hand, and went right to the impact gun which is what caused the hubs to be completely strippedHad they been hand tightened, the installer would have felt the resistance, and realized the thread pitch was incorrectWe are unable to issue a $refund, but we will issue a partial refund of $
