I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service and substandard accommodations I have received since becoming of new BlueGreen OwnersI initially purchased a great deal on a vacation from Outdoor World for Valentines Day I was excited because my husband and I needed the break and it was certainly an opportunity worth purchasingWe paid about $100/$for nights stay to any location listed on the shirt providedunder condition of course we had to attend an orientation for BlueGreenAfter attending the orientation we would receive a free cruiseOur vacation was great no doubt but I wish it had stopped there We attended the approximately hours orientation in May The sales representatives were great - just doing there job so well we spent hours between orientation, talking to the sales rep regarding BlueGreen, signing papers to finalize the purchaseDuring our interaction with the representative there were several questions that went unansweredHowever, we were told that once we attended the new owners orientation our representative at that time would give us more detail, explain how the website works, how to be use the vacation deals etc In making the reservation for the new owner orientation, we found that all were required to attend at the same time - despite the fact we lived in separate statesIt was a bit of a challenge but we made it workOur booking representative Luzviminda Garcia was less than accommodatingI spent over month going back an forth with her trying to get a day and night stay at a location which was suitable for the of usHer overall rating a "0" zeroShe was terrible We finally get confirmation from another representative, Cara Darnell, via email - out of the blueIt had been weeks since I heard anything from LuzWhen I received the email I contacted her to find out why I was receiving the email from her and not Luz and if they were able to find accommodations suitable for the of usShe was kind enough to explainTwo things I did take note that she stated 1) we would be in a "villa" and that the Ocean Creek Resort was one of the "best resorts" they had We arrived in July at Ocean Creek ResortFrom the naked eye it appeared to be a descent place - from the outsideWhen we arrived to the -what appeared to be an old apartment complex - we realized 1) we were not lodging in a "villa." On the inside of the bedroom unit, we discovered roaches in various places, the balcony area was not clean, the main bedroom lamp blinked because there was a short in the electrical wire, various ceiling areas showed evidence of leaks, the front bedroom transition strip from the bedroom to the bathroom had partially come up (tripping hazard), the main bathroom had mold along the cabinet doorsVery disappointed but this was one of the "best resorts." The following day during our alleged "new owner orientation." We all expressed our disappointment with the lodging and requested to be moved to another locationOur request was declinedWe were told, if we have any issues with the location we needed to address it with the resort management, we were also told that the location we were lodging at was NOT a BlueGreen ResortOcean Creek Resort owners will sometimes all BlueGreen owners to lodge at their locations if BlueGreen is unable to find a location for the BlueGreen owner This so called new owner orientation turned out to be just another ploy to get us to sign up for VIP statusWhat we learned is that unless you are a VIP status owner, you are essentially not have the luxury of convenient booking, availability, etcWe also learned that the representative had no intensions of showing us how to get the best use out of our purchase, how to use the website, how to use the points, etcIn fact, she showed NO interest in our - the customer's needs- rather her own to make a saleAdditionally we learned that those promises made in Las Vegas were just that - emptyThe one representative even made a joke to say what happens in Vegas stayed in VegasShe went on to make another joke to say "I bet you will alway stay at BlueGreen rather than a resort that was booking by our sales department." After about hours into the alleged orientation some mediocre attempt to silence us about our dissatisfaction about the lodging I was given a form and was told to write a formal complaintJudith advised she would communicate our concerns to the executives and they would reimburse the fees we incurred for the taxesShe also stated that I would receive a call the following weekTo this day no one has reached out to me I also inquired about why we should have signed up with BlueGreen when in my research I had determined that not only were we limited with the availability for travel; we also were paying more to take advantage of RCI or TravelersPlus booking than if we booked directly(i.ecruises, resorts etc)

Just all lies!!! Their so call vacation deal is not a deal at all! Beware of all the hidden fee and requirements. You have to pay this pay that, do this do that, and will find out later if you even qualify for the deal after wasting your value time and money. Not worth it!!! Will only ruin your vacation. I haven't even take the vacation and already paid more than what it would cost me to stay at the actual resort. The best decision I've made after my poor decision to purchase the so-call vacation deal is cancelled it. They will not be able to brain wash me at their two hours so-called tour and scam more money out of me.

I was scammed into buying a time share from BluegreenThey had promised has multiple thing that where not true or didn't follow through with They sold us a time share 10x what it is actually worthThey had promised us luxury style restore, however that was a lie and you can't find any available for these so call resortsThey gave us "free" that we found we can't even useThe whole thing was just a big scamThey never even told us about the cancellation period during the sell or how much the interested was going to be on our loan

We were deceived, lied too and now trying to receive a complete refund or credit at the resort Date of purchase: 8/23/ Account Number XXXXXXXX Payment method was cc/debit card So our story begins with us walking through bass pro and a gentleman at the booth stopped us to talk about staying at big cedar Both my wife and I love that resort so yes, we lent a ear to hear what this gentleman had to say I can't remember his name We talked with him for min about different options and my wife and I chose this option for night day stay at big cedar We, at the time, thought it was a great deal We then quickly realized that this gentleman was not being honest with us when I started to read the contract there at the storei started to look over more in depth of this "great deal" we were receiving He never mentioned it was a timeshare seminar involved or that we had to make over 40,a year Which my wife and I do not make that amount to even qualify I q

Sales explanation was full of lies about usage and every other aspect of the vacation club Purchase date was just June in gatlinburg tennesseecontract number XXXXXXMember number XXXXXX Financing is thru bluegreenSales rep [redacted] Was told so many lies from usage to being able to sell the vacation if it did not work out for usWas told saved points could be combined and used during any season not limited datesWas told we could use few points to offset maintenance fees if we didn't use them years later we have not been able to book anything desired with the points we have due to restrictions on saved points and resorts taking too many points for reservations

The salesmen used high pressure sales and lied to get us to buy a timeshareThe number of points they sold us they KNEW were not enough to use The timeshare we purchased from Bluegreen in December we have never usedWe know now of the lies and misrepresentations that the salesmen made to usThey pressured us into buyingWhen we told them "no" they became very pushyThey failed to mention important points (one was the rescission date) that had we known about would have caused us not to sign after allThe presentation was supposed to be minutes but after five hours my blood sugar was dropping (I am insulin-dependent diabetic) and I had to eatInstead of simply letting us go, they brought me a snackI was unable to concentrate fully on what the salesmen were telling us because of the medical issueThe salesmen wanted us to lie about our incomeThey wanted us to open a credit card with Bluegreen and told my husband to put his income as $120,a yearHe refused to do

This is the worst company ever they're Liars and true scam artist they lied to you in the beginning they talk really fast but [redacted] and then when you need help there's no one there to help you and ever tell you that you can't use just the basic point that they give you a new beginning and how hard it is to really take a vacation with this mess I was one of the ones to get something I can't seem to get rid of this Money Pit The Never Ending money cake I'm not working right now and I can't afford to pay for this stuff I like to know how to get rid of it I would never suggest this company to anyone or for anyone to ever ever and I didn't ever do business with this company worst company ever money greedy very greedy people may God's punishment rain down on this company

Very poor business with a very good sales team. They sure make you feel like you are getting value for your money but when you try to use points you can not get in anywhere. After 2 years of trying to use points to get in to a resort I went for an owner review. The advised me that I had just lost 7000 of my points the previous day because I had not used them. VERY BIG RIP OFF. Do not fall in to their trap. They are very convincing and make it sound like a good deal. IT IS NOT A GOOD DEAL.

I have paid in full my membership in BG, in that it is one of the biggest regrets I have, I've NEVER used my membership And yet they want to charge me a maintenance fee I've called and have been told "since they have given me points..." I bought the [redacted] points Why am I charged a maintenance fee when I've never used the product?

This scam is the worst!! They get you with an affordable getaway, then when you get there, it's a different storySTAY AWAY!! We went to the Tradewinds Resort in StPete Beach, they put Bluegreen guests in the worst dump, the most outdated, disgusting, old rooms with bugs and no cleaning service or pay an extra $PER DAY for cleaning!! We had to be switched rooms because we had mosquitoes and all types of bugs in our room only to be placed in another dump next to the storage roomThey are unprofessional, they are very pushy and will waste over hours of your timeThis is the worst experience I have ever had and it's such a shame becuase we were seriously considering purchasing thisAlso, it's a time share, don't let them fool you with "vacation ownership", the woman that was trying every trick in the book to sell kept slipping up and saying time share then quickly correcting herselfAlso, the annual fees are outrageous and apparently continue to increase over time, I heard from another bluegreen owner that regrets their decision and currently in a law suit with this shady, terrible, unprofessional companySTAY AWAY!!

Unethical business practice, misrepresentation and willfully withholding information My sister and I Purchased a points based vacation ownership on August 19, in Williamsburg, VAWas told we were buying XXXXX points per year Told we could use any Choice hotel for $to $per night, Told we needed to attend an orientation session to be instructed how to use what we purchased and all our questions would be answeredWhat a lie about the help to use what we thought we boughtThey said the return trip would be on themHowever, we find that when we attempted to schedule the orientation to return to Williamsburg, VA, we had to pay $We were also told that we would have a bedroom suite; however when inquiring at time of reservation we were told we had to pay $to upgrade Also we were then told that our points would be allotted to us on Sept 1st of every year and that we could roll them over for a fixed price of $ What a load of crockThe salespeople in William

Blue green lied and sold something they don't actually offerEvery time we complain they never help resolve anythingWe have to deal with it They originally sold us points we couldn't actually book anything with the points they said would be enough for a dream vacationThen when we do find a place to go that we could use our points we find out it's constantly bookedIn order to use this rip off of a company we have to book what and when is available and then adjust our vacation around thatAnother thing they lie about is "their" resorts aren't actually theirs so they only have limited number of rooms a blue green owner can book, so they will tell you it's all booked up and then call back as a regular consumer and book the same room just not as a bluegreen ownerVery deceptive companyThe other lie they sell is you can sell your time share at anytime and maybe even make money the guy told us, we'll that's another lie, and Bluegreen will not assist you in any way through this p

I have been writing to Bluegreen several times simply asking for a confirmation letter from them for my records On November 27,I revived a letter stating that in day my rights as an owner would be terminatedI could stop this if I paid in fullIf I did not pay the amount in full, my account would be closed It has been past days and I have not gotten any word that this has taken placeI have called and written asking for a confirmation to what they stated would take place in days had indeed taken place This is not a difficult thing Its just confirmation that this has been taken care of I do not know why they have to make this difficult right up to the endI just want a letter stating that I am no longer and owner, I no longer have any rights or benefits or obligations Once I have that they will never hear from me again!

I have been in contact with this resort for months and most recently with no responses backBluegreen resort refuses to assist me properly On October 24, 2006, I attended a timeshare presentation with a friend of mineThe presentation was at Bluegreen Corporation in Plano, TexasThe presentation lasted approximately one to two hoursAfter the presentation, we met with a sales representative During the meeting with the sales representative, it was explained how the points system worked and the advantages of RCIThe sales representative outlined this is a handwritten diagramAt first it sounded good and it appeared that this would be a good way to take vacations at discounted prices that would include airfare, car rental, hotels, dining and other activitiesNow it seems to good to be true and is exactly that There was no time to think about this offerIt was only good at the present timeI was not given anytime to review or really even think about hat I was being offere

They wont stop calling even after asking them to stop I signed up at the mall to win a free carNow they wont stop calling me EVERY DAY telling me "I won an almost free vacation" I live in town and know they are a time share companyThey are a rip offNothing is free from themI have asked SEVERAL times for them to please stop calling meThey wont stop harassing us

I was supposed to have a vacation through blue green vacations to gatlinburg tnAfter the horrific fires I assumed my vacation would be cancelled They won't give me names, only " [redacted] " the only one employed with blue greenAnd ***, again the only one employed by said companyThey claim the left me voicemails- I don't own an answer wring machineThey want to charge me $for not coming, however they never even gave me an address to report to [redacted] was obviously lying, he placed me on hold to ask his supervisorWhen he returned he said "I'm sorry he said it's nothing I can doWhen I asked for the specific persons name he put me on hold again and returned with the name " [redacted] " then went on to say he could not give her last name (before I even asked) and would not give his last name either, then said "the $charge is coming regardless"

Scam, reservations almost impossible to make and once made never as promised Free gift offers have associated fees and never receive gift Can never find dates when stays are available so you end up losing points or have to pay to roll them over I have yet to have a reservation right I am handicapped and ask for access when reservation is made months in advance, but on arrival am informed that third floor rooms are all that's available and no elevator twice I have had to move in the middle of a stay because they double booked the room I was given a free cruise voucherI had to pay a $down payment for port fees to see available dates Once I was able to see the dates there is an additional $per person fee to reserve I was told the down payment was fully refundable but I can not get a call back to cancel I was also given a free hotel stay voucher but said I need to pay a $down payment for taxes I did not pay

I signed a Deed in DecemberI was given incorrect information to get me to sign a contract for a timeshare I purchased a sampler package from Blue green Vacations in July I Had to use these points by July of I had went through some personal things and did not end up booking any vacations until last minute so what I did book was an inconvience to my schedule but I made It work since I had already Paid for the vacations and didnt want to lose any moneyMy first Vacation was to South Carolina In DecemberI was required to meet with Blue Green Employees since I was staying for an HourIm an active travelerI was told by a Broker that I would have no issues booking any vacations at any time of the year if I had the points neededImplying to Me that at anytime of the year in any state in the united states and countries I would have no problem booking a stayI attempted to book my First Vacation as a owner this January New owner so my points were just activated as of J

I recently attended a Bluegreen vacations sales seminar in Williamsburg VA and was favorably impressed. The information was clear and concise. The presentation was focused and stayed short. The one-on-one with the sales representative was informative. I did sign up but a few days later exercised my cancellation option within the time period ( seven or ten days I I don't recall at the moment). The cancellation option is included in the documents all buyers receive. I thought there might be pressure calls- nope. Not one! They gave a full refund within 7-9 business days of their receipt of the required documents. I did make sure to return everything I received from them including my copy of the legal documents that they had given to me. It may not have been necessary, but I made my own copies and took pictures. The folks at Bluegreen vacations were very professional, prompt and pleasant.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN We are surprised and appalled at the yearly maintenance increase of $348 to $507, a 32% increase! We have not used this Resort since 2000 and the assistance to sell the Resort has been zero. We will need to notify the FTC, DOJ nd AGO to see why we cannot get the Resort we please and now for sure we cannot find a fiduciary responsible agent to dispose of it. We have experienced that the Resort Industry continues to defraud US citizens with these excessive fees, continued ignorance and the refusal to answer our questions. We ask that the BlueGreen Resort be transferred to a Florida Blue Resort Resort since we are now retired in this State. We are asking for $8,000.00 for the Week 52 and still no one has cared to buy, offer or assist with a transfer.
