The salesmen used high pressure sales and lied to get us to buy a timeshareThe number of points they sold us they KNEW were not enough to use
The timeshare we purchased from Bluegreen in December we have never usedWe know now of the lies and misrepresentations that the salesmen made to usThey pressured us into buyingWhen we told them "no" they became very pushyThey failed to mention important points (one was the rescission date) that had we known about would have caused us not to sign after allThe presentation was supposed to be minutes but after five hours my blood sugar was dropping (I am insulin-dependent diabetic) and I had to eatInstead of simply letting us go, they brought me a snackI was unable to concentrate fully on what the salesmen were telling us because of the medical issueThe salesmen wanted us to lie about our incomeThey wanted us to open a credit card with Bluegreen and told my husband to put his income as $120,a yearHe refused to do

I wish I could leave this business less than one starIf it sounds too good to be true, then it isMyself and best friend were in Outdoor World in Austin, TX in January of last year and the sales lady gave us her sales pitch about a night stay in a long list of hotels in one of their destinationsWe paid the $and signed upWe asked as many questions as possibleWe chose this package because we've been to Vegas and wanted to return and we wanted to stay at a specific hotel among their listWe were told we could choose the hotel of our choose among their list of preferred hotelsWhen I called to confirm every person I spoke to kept trying to force us to upgradeTelling us the accommodations would be "better" and more "comfortable" if we upgradedThat's not what we wantedWe wanted what we paid for contingent on the hour timeshare meeting that was requiredmonths before the scheduled vacation time I called repeatedly to confirm that we'd been scheduled at the Tuscany in Las VegasWe were notI was told that we had to be booked at what was availableThat's not what the sales person told usWe went back to Outdoor World and spoke to the sales girl who said "She'd been told customers could choose their lodging" she suggested we call back and relay thisThis is where everything went downhill and I knew this situation was a scamI called back and was told again we could not chooseWe NEVER would have bought into this if we hadn't been able to choose our hotel lodgingWe finally reached a point where we can use this vacation time and we chose to move the vacation to New Orleans to save on airfare so that we could make it a road tripConveniently there are no time slots open for NovemberWhy sell the packages if you cant accommodate the booking dates regardless of what month it is? There are time slots open for December but the only time off we can take is during Christmas week however, the catch is that Christmas eve through the days after Christmas are all that's openWe cant use this package so were losing $To make matters were worse we were told the package was non-refundable but if you read the refund details it says you are eligible for a refund with in days after purchaseHad we not been told it was non-refundable we could refund the packageThis is a SCAMThe hotels you have to choose from are the lowest of the lowI have made sure to tell everyone I know not to do business with this businessMaybe with enough complaints this business will be investigated thoroughly and be shut down I intend to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office as wellThis business is operating using deceptive practices
We joined Bluegreen in when it was still relatively small We've watched the company grow over the years and have repeatedly bought more points because we like where the company is heading Timeshare Companies are always going to get their fair share of complaints; primarily because people buy into a product that they don't really know and understand They buy based on the promises made in a two-hour sales presentation The really good sales people always tell you the truth because they are more interested in forming customer relationships than they are making a sale Unfortunately, there are salespeople out there that would sell fake patents to their Mothers just to make a buck Bluegreen has some of both although I get the sense that the company is trying to rid themselves of the latter and only bring on the former Last few customer updates that I've had have actually been quite good Thanks Bluegreen! This is important for any prospective timeshare owner - no what you're getting and how you would use it before you buy it Buy what you need to do what you want; don't buy less thinking that you'll get there someday You'd be better off to wait until you can get what you want and rent from a timeshare rental company in the meantime Also, understand the market before you walk into a sales presentation The only person that is going to look out for your interests is you I say that being a Bluegreen Platinum Owner I understand the product, I understand how to use it, and I understand what I've got Owning Bluegreen has allowed my family and I to take trips that we wouldn't have been able to take otherwise and we've been allowed to share these trips with others in our family This is important to us and is the reason we bought in the first place So we're satisfied owners but we're also educated owners I think the two go hand-in-hand!
Was convinced to purchase a basic vacation package with a promise for an upgradeWhen trying to reserve the upgrade they would not apply the already purchase $package to the $packageWhen trying to get my money refunded within the days I had to get very forceful with third person on the phone who tried to talk me out of it
This company offers falsehoods and half-truthsWe have sunk thousands of dollars into this company, and are repeatedly told that nothing is available at the places or times that we want to utilize our points at one of their resorts However, if you use Travelocity.com, or other vacation booking websites, the places they claim are not available, are available We have been told we could sell back our deed at any time When we contacted the company to do just that, because we are tired for paying for something that is never available, we were told that is not an option We have been told we can use our points to pay for maintenance feesWhen we tried to do that, we were told there is a minimum point requirement to do that, and we did not have enough We have had nothing but problems and lies from this company They continue to try and solicit you to purchase more points, yet fail to meet simple requestsIn over two years, and thousands of dollars invested, we have been able to use our points one time, and it wasn't even where we wanted toWe had to settle or what was "available." The room we had was in a horrible spot (at the back of the resort, with a view of other buildings and parking lots, and noise and filth from construction), and when I asked to move to a different room, was told no other rooms were available, even though I walked by rooms that stood vacant during our entire stayGuess they had to keep those available to sell on Travelocity Why make it available to an "owner?" I would never recommend this company to anyoneThey care about nothing but lining their pocketsThey have zero concern for the happiness of their customer, and are unwilling to make even the smallest accommodations

We purchased in December an upgrade to our vacation timeshare ownership with Blue Green Vacations while on vacation at their resort at Falls Village, in B Missouri Blue Green scheduled a meeting with their staff at Falls Village so we could receive important updates about our ownership My wife and I met with their sales staff, who immediately launched into a sales pitch to upgrade our membership We were not impressed with the resort at Falls Village and did not get the vacation property in the area that we really wanted when we booked this vacation The sales staff solution was to purchase an upgrade, which would provide us with a concierge service that would guarantee us being able to book a vacation at our preferred property in the area They also told us that by purchasing the upgrade that not only would we be able to expand our vacation options and membership benefits, but that we would also be able to apply all of our unused points to pay for our annual maintenance fe
