The salesmen used high pressure sales and lied to get us to buy a timeshareThe number of points they sold us they KNEW were not enough to use
The timeshare we purchased from Bluegreen in December we have never usedWe know now of the lies and misrepresentations that the salesmen made to usThey pressured us into buyingWhen we told them "no" they became very pushyThey failed to mention important points (one was the rescission date) that had we known about would have caused us not to sign after allThe presentation was supposed to be minutes but after five hours my blood sugar was dropping (I am insulin-dependent diabetic) and I had to eatInstead of simply letting us go, they brought me a snackI was unable to concentrate fully on what the salesmen were telling us because of the medical issueThe salesmen wanted us to lie about our incomeThey wanted us to open a credit card with Bluegreen and told my husband to put his income as $120,a yearHe refused to do

Was convinced to purchase a basic vacation package with a promise for an upgradeWhen trying to reserve the upgrade they would not apply the already purchase $package to the $packageWhen trying to get my money refunded within the days I had to get very forceful with third person on the phone who tried to talk me out of it

We purchased a timeshare plan with Bluegreen Vacations back in We had a fixed week and were somewhat happy with it
Then, we were "introduced" to the new points-system Bluegreen changed to, and disappointment came quickly afterwardsWe were seldom able to book at the resorts we wanted, even though we were "assured" this new points-system would allow us to experience more resorts and more opportunities to vacationIt is an extremely flawed system that does not deliver the assurances that the salespeople state just to get you to agree and sign
We were told our fixed week was only worth 8,points and that people would need to have a minimum of 10,for the new systemWe were presented with the "deal of the century" to purchase 4,points for approx$2.00/pointThe salesperson said everyone else was being charged $3.19/point, etcIt was a lot of numbers that didn't mean anything to us because we had, had our fixed week for long and had not experienced issues with it over many years but the salesperson basically told us that we would not have any luck with thetimeshare anymore, unless we purchased more and bought into the new system
So, we didWhat happened, though, was extremely disappointingWe had been owners for so long yet we were put at the bottom of the barrel with everyone else "new" coming into Bluegreen through the new systemTalk about off-putting!
We feel devalued and taken advantage of by this companyWe have been nothing but loyal and faithful to this company, but they obviously care more about money over that
In hindsight, we should have never had to buy more to make the timeshare work for usWe were already long-time owners with a "plan" that worked for us! Bluegreen decided to make changes, and those changes have had nothing but negative effects on us, and many others, as we have read
This company has lost all its credibility and value to usWe would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE and urge people to steer clear of its sneaky salespeople and their manipulative sales tactics!

I have had nothing but a positive experience with this company My family loves our ownershipEven in the times we have had obstacles they have been nothing but accommodating

I wish I could leave this business less than one starIf it sounds too good to be true, then it isMyself and best friend were in Outdoor World in Austin, TX in January of last year and the sales lady gave us her sales pitch about a night stay in a long list of hotels in one of their destinationsWe paid the $and signed upWe asked as many questions as possibleWe chose this package because we've been to Vegas and wanted to return and we wanted to stay at a specific hotel among their listWe were told we could choose the hotel of our choose among their list of preferred hotelsWhen I called to confirm every person I spoke to kept trying to force us to upgradeTelling us the accommodations would be "better" and more "comfortable" if we upgradedThat's not what we wantedWe wanted what we paid for contingent on the hour timeshare meeting that was requiredmonths before the scheduled vacation time I called repeatedly to confirm that we'd been scheduled at the Tuscany in Las VegasWe were notI was told that we had to be booked at what was availableThat's not what the sales person told usWe went back to Outdoor World and spoke to the sales girl who said "She'd been told customers could choose their lodging" she suggested we call back and relay thisThis is where everything went downhill and I knew this situation was a scamI called back and was told again we could not chooseWe NEVER would have bought into this if we hadn't been able to choose our hotel lodgingWe finally reached a point where we can use this vacation time and we chose to move the vacation to New Orleans to save on airfare so that we could make it a road tripConveniently there are no time slots open for NovemberWhy sell the packages if you cant accommodate the booking dates regardless of what month it is? There are time slots open for December but the only time off we can take is during Christmas week however, the catch is that Christmas eve through the days after Christmas are all that's openWe cant use this package so were losing $To make matters were worse we were told the package was non-refundable but if you read the refund details it says you are eligible for a refund with in days after purchaseHad we not been told it was non-refundable we could refund the packageThis is a SCAMThe hotels you have to choose from are the lowest of the lowI have made sure to tell everyone I know not to do business with this businessMaybe with enough complaints this business will be investigated thoroughly and be shut down I intend to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office as wellThis business is operating using deceptive practices

We joined Bluegreen in when it was still relatively small We've watched the company grow over the years and have repeatedly bought more points because we like where the company is heading Timeshare Companies are always going to get their fair share of complaints; primarily because people buy into a product that they don't really know and understand They buy based on the promises made in a two-hour sales presentation The really good sales people always tell you the truth because they are more interested in forming customer relationships than they are making a sale Unfortunately, there are salespeople out there that would sell fake patents to their Mothers just to make a buck Bluegreen has some of both although I get the sense that the company is trying to rid themselves of the latter and only bring on the former Last few customer updates that I've had have actually been quite good Thanks Bluegreen! This is important for any prospective timeshare owner - no what you're getting and how you would use it before you buy it Buy what you need to do what you want; don't buy less thinking that you'll get there someday You'd be better off to wait until you can get what you want and rent from a timeshare rental company in the meantime Also, understand the market before you walk into a sales presentation The only person that is going to look out for your interests is you I say that being a Bluegreen Platinum Owner I understand the product, I understand how to use it, and I understand what I've got Owning Bluegreen has allowed my family and I to take trips that we wouldn't have been able to take otherwise and we've been allowed to share these trips with others in our family This is important to us and is the reason we bought in the first place So we're satisfied owners but we're also educated owners I think the two go hand-in-hand!

Company engaged in bait and switch practices
On XXXXXXXX we purchased a packageOn XXXXXXXX, I called to book a night, bedroom reservation for the the location of Wilderness Club @ Big Cedar (I was specific with the agent the accommodations I wanted and the exact location)When I received my confirmation in the mail in indicated the location was for another property (NOT WHAT I HAD BOOKED)I contacted the vacation specialist on XXXXXXXX and informed them the location they put me at was not correct The agent told me "the property we booked you at is right next door to what you wanted" I informed the agent "I do not want the other property"She then informed me the location I was told about when I bought the package had NO availability for my bedroom request and no availability for the year to use the packageThis is CLEARLY a bait and switch scam

VERY VERY pleased with the package I purchasedI have enough points to go during the week & unlimited bonus time to use on the weekends

I have paid in full my membership in BG, in that it is one of the biggest regrets I have, I've NEVER used my membership And yet they want to charge me a maintenance fee I've called and have been told "since they have given me points..." I bought the *** points Why am I charged a maintenance fee when I've never used the product?

I was supposed to have a vacation through blue green vacations to gatlinburg tnAfter the horrific fires I assumed my vacation would be cancelled
They won't give me names, only "***" the only one employed with blue greenAnd ***, again the only one employed by said companyThey claim the left me voicemails- I don't own an answer wring machineThey want to charge me $for not coming, however they never even gave me an address to report to*** was obviously lying, he placed me on hold to ask his supervisorWhen he returned he said "I'm sorry he said it's nothing I can doWhen I asked for the specific persons name he put me on hold again and returned with the name "***" then went on to say he could not give her last name (before I even asked) and would not give his last name either, then said "the $charge is coming regardless"

The salesmen lied to us about the vacation ability of Christmas Mountain- what they sold us was not what we ended up actually receiving
We want to cancel the timeshare purchase made March 21, 2016, and the upgrade purchase made June 19, We found out long after the rescission period that the salesmen lied about the availability and location options of the timeshareCertain issues came to light long after the purchasesIn March we toured the Christmas Mountain location and really liked the idea of bringing the family there on vacationIt was beautiful, no doubt about thatWe decided we would find a way to make this workIn June we went for the new owner orientationWe were there to learn how to use the website and how to book vacationsAccording to the saleswoman, we owned "points" and we were a little suspicious since we had maintenance feesBut we didn't say anythingShe told us that the plan we had purchased was limited and that to increase our vacation times and loca

We purchased in December an upgrade to our vacation timeshare ownership with Blue Green Vacations while on vacation at their resort at Falls Village, in B Missouri Blue Green scheduled a meeting with their staff at Falls Village so we could receive important updates about our ownership My wife and I met with their sales staff, who immediately launched into a sales pitch to upgrade our membership We were not impressed with the resort at Falls Village and did not get the vacation property in the area that we really wanted when we booked this vacation The sales staff solution was to purchase an upgrade, which would provide us with a concierge service that would guarantee us being able to book a vacation at our preferred property in the area They also told us that by purchasing the upgrade that not only would we be able to expand our vacation options and membership benefits, but that we would also be able to apply all of our unused points to pay for our annual maintenance fe

Just all lies!!! Their so call vacation deal is not a deal at all! Beware of all the hidden fee and requirementsYou have to pay this pay that, do this do that, and will find out later if you even qualify for the deal after wasting your value time and moneyNot worth it!!! Will only ruin your vacationI haven't even take the vacation and already paid more than what it would cost me to stay at the actual resortThe best decision I've made after my poor decision to purchase the so-call vacation deal is cancelled itThey will not be able to brain wash me at their two hours so-called tour and scam more money out of me

AWFUL !!!! We was current owners and got suckered into buying more points with a misleading salesman ! NEVER AGAIN
I wished that there is a NEG STAR!!!!

This company offers falsehoods and half-truthsWe have sunk thousands of dollars into this company, and are repeatedly told that nothing is available at the places or times that we want to utilize our points at one of their resorts However, if you use Travelocity.com, or other vacation booking websites, the places they claim are not available, are available We have been told we could sell back our deed at any time When we contacted the company to do just that, because we are tired for paying for something that is never available, we were told that is not an option We have been told we can use our points to pay for maintenance feesWhen we tried to do that, we were told there is a minimum point requirement to do that, and we did not have enough We have had nothing but problems and lies from this company They continue to try and solicit you to purchase more points, yet fail to meet simple requestsIn over two years, and thousands of dollars invested, we have been able to use our points one time, and it wasn't even where we wanted toWe had to settle or what was "available." The room we had was in a horrible spot (at the back of the resort, with a view of other buildings and parking lots, and noise and filth from construction), and when I asked to move to a different room, was told no other rooms were available, even though I walked by rooms that stood vacant during our entire stayGuess they had to keep those available to sell on Travelocity Why make it available to an "owner?" I would never recommend this company to anyoneThey care about nothing but lining their pocketsThey have zero concern for the happiness of their customer, and are unwilling to make even the smallest accommodations

Bluegreen told me I was making a huge investment and turned out to be overcharging me for a very bad service that now they say I am stuck with forever
I've tried for almost years to and see my Timeshare through the eyes of BluegreenAll the hoopla that they have what it takes to ensure a wonderful vacation, here and around the worldAll it will cost me is money, money and more moneyAnd in the end, I have 23,points, with NO bookings available for where I want to go, or when I want to go, and a debt of $6,
I became a member of Bluegreen when they invited me to stay in Branson, MO in Then I upgraded to XXXXXX for $33,in 2008, which put me into "PREMIER" statusYet, things became fishy with this upgradeThe sales representative, *** *** said I would end up with 20,points if I upgraded for $33, Thinking that point value had just gone up a bit (prior points I was paying a $a pointNow I was paying $a point) I went ahead and signed on th

I have been a member with Bluegreen and was told that this timeshare contract would provided me with the travel that I desired for me and my family
At the presentation we were asked to attend, the sales representatives pushed us to buy somethingThe claims they were making was that if we agreed to this purchase we would finally have better availability, reservations would be easier to make and we would be more satisfied with our ownership overallWe decided to make the purchase because we were tired of seeing our money go to wasteUnfortunately for us, all of their representations have proven to be falseWhenever we tried using our timeshare nothing was ever available despite the fact that we even booked a year in advance to get the travel we wantedWe were also led to believe that we would be able to rent or sell this timeshare in the event that we weren't using itWe were supposed to be able to gain money with this timeshare and were never able to do soWe were taken advanta

Upon sitting in a presentation for two hours, no one advise me that my husband needed to be presentation after he only stayed in half the time
Customer service did not try to accommodate me for sitting two hours with my eight-month-old baby through a two hour presentation The facilitator informed me that I could continue if I was able to make decisions in my household The facilitator informed me that I could continue if I was able to make decisions in my household I am formed the facilitator that I was the decision-maker and yes I could continue the presentationAfter the two hours, I was told I would not get my gift of the cruise that was promised

My husband and I stayed in Las Vegas Bluegreen Vacations Club on August and left on August The next day I fond several items missing from my luggage, left in the roomI called the hotel and spoke first to a Security man and his reply was they were not logged nor did housekeeping find anythingHe suggested calling the managerSo I did on the same day and spoke with himHe stated he checked with the lady who cleaned the room and her response was there was nothing left when she cleaned the roomAlso he said there was nothing he could doMy response was why would I call if they weren't missing and even offered to him that he could search my luggage, but he declinedThe items missing are as follows: hair brushes, a mirror, large hair spray, large mouse container, medically treated shampoo bottle and medically treated conditioner bottleThe value of all of this was about $to $These items I believe I left in the hotel room bathroom and have been found by t

We bought a timeshare where we were promised all these things and pitched this great purchased, but come to find out this whole company is just a scam which causes you to pay and pay and pay yet receive nothing worth anythingCan never use our points, can never go on vacations, used high pushy sales tactics and lied toIf they can create points out of thin air to purchase they can remove them
Maybe one of their leaders in this company will care about the thousands of families being screwed over and having to take lawsuits against the company
