[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Work was to be completed on 9/ We were told they would remove deck furniture and sand down the whole deck the redo the deck with prodctThey sent person who repainted over the areas that were peeling up, meaning they just tried to cover up the bad spots instead of redoing itHe had no knowledge that he was suppose to remove all furniture, sand down and redo jobHe left without fixing anythingHe told us he would be back on 9/to finish the job the correct wayToday, 9/22, no one showed up, no one called, no communication whatsoever from the companySo I called Jason who responded to my original complaint with the number he providedI told him who I was and he was EXTREMELY rudeI explained what happened Saturday and the fact that no one is here today without explanationHe said he'd get back to meHe had Mike call me and Mike says he will call me today or tomorrow to let me know when someone will be outWe will see if that holds trueI can't believe a company can operate like thisHow canthese mabangers and the owner be allowed to talk so rudely to their customers? We have yet to speak to someone who treated us like they appreciated our businessMike was polite on the phone today but as history has taught us, the company is full of empty promises and could care less about their cuatomersWhy do I have to chase down them to get answers since JULY?! Marco a manager that we dealt with was demanding the rest of the payment after the job was finishedWe asked for a receipt and he replied rudely that "he has a stack of checks sitting on his desk that no one else needed a receipt so why should we?" We are STILL WAITING for a reciept and it's September! We requested a copy of the year warranty in July and we are still waiting on itI have lost track of all the non returned phone calls, no replies to emails and "managers" that wI'll get back to meWe have done nothing but fulfill our duty of payment in full (which I totally regret doing)And I return for payment in full we have been left with a deck that is peeling, being treated disrespectfully, talked down to by mangers, broken promises, dead grass, no return phone calls and emails, lack of showing up for a job, coming to the job ill informed and not preparedThis is the worst experience with a company ever! Such a headache for something that was suppose to be over and done with months ago [redacted]

The estimate person was very polite and professionalHe explained everything in detail and very easy to understandFrom that point on everything started going southI did not hear anything back from anyone for over weeks until I contacted them asking what was the status of the project and if I could receive a timeline for when the remaining tasks were going to be executedAt that point someone contacted me to let me know that the pressure washing was going to happen in a couple of daysThe man came and cleaned the deckBoy it took this man an entire hour and a halfThe cleaning was a jokeThen another days went by without anyone contacting me until again, I was the one who initiated the contactSo much for good communications with customersI then get a call telling me that the folks were going to fix the deck soon but without a dateThe next day my wife gets back from the grocery store and finds a bundle of lumber left in front of the house on the edge of the streetDid anyone call us? You guessed itAnother noAnyway, this was a Wednesday, that Friday my family and I were going out of townOn our way to our destination I receive a callThere is a guy in my house saying that they are there to fix the deckOMGWhat happened to letting the customer know? Bottom line the weather was bad and the guy and his team mate ended up leaving and not because the weather was bad but because the lumber that was left was the wrong kind so he had to go and get a different set anywaySo they came back on MondayWell after the guys finished I started inspecting the work and began wondering myself what happened to their promise on their SOW that says "Apply Credit Card thick coating of flat surfaces up to 1/inch thick"Not TrueThere still a lots of cracks very visibleFor the amount of money this people charge it is not worth itI am very disappointed and definitely will not endorse nor recommend these folks to anyone

The very same day, hours after they left, it started bubbling and cracking againWe pointed it out to the person who did and saw it first hand and said it was not suppose to do that and he would tell the companyTalk to himHe saw it he agreed the product was failingSo, come back for the 5th time and redo the deckThis is a huge inconvenience for us to have to chase you down and make you live up to your own warranty and promisesWe shouldn't have to have to get the deck redone twice in less than a monthYour product does not do what it is suppose toThis is not out doingThis is on youThe work is not complete! The work needs to be redone! The pictures I sent you are now mild compared to what is happening nowCome look for yourself! I absolutely love this company and their great customer service The workers were awesome from start to finish They were friendly, cheerful, and seemed to enjoy their job They worked long days to powerwash my deck, buff chemicals into the remaining wood to cure it, replace rotted boards, and paint my deck They were careful to put up plastic over my siding so that paint would not get on my house There were several boards after painting where the grain of the wood raised up and would have been a problem for splinters The company sent a crew out to pull up those boards and repaint the entire deck the next day! The carpentry crew was kind enough to remove some heavy planters and a table off my deck before painting After the deck cured for days, they came back to my house to put the table back on the deck for me I am truly amazed by the fabulous customer service this company provides My deck looks brand new even though it is years old I am getting so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful my deck looks once again I highly recommend this company

We are able to partially approve your warranty and fix it at Deck Helmet costPlease let us know if you would like to schedule a time for Warranty Manger to review your deck

After reviewing the project Deck Helmet does not feel comfortable building the deck and screened in porchThis is out of our skill set and have refunded your money in full
