Wish I could go less than 1 star. Bought a hunting product from dicks. It ended up being completely defective. Waste of 150 bucks. Then after speaking with customer service about product they said even though I never used it the best thing they can do is give me a 10% off. I get that in my email every freaking morning. Spend over a thousand bucks a year at dicks. Bc I waited until season to try the defective product they told me to kick rocks. Never again will they see a cent of my hard earned money. And to think I use to work at dicks sporting goods.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  One thing to add in response to ripped shoe box is that it was defiantly ripped prior to shipping as the shipping box was in perfect condition and 2nd pair of shoes's box was perfect.

We followed up with Mr. [redacted] on January 28, 2015 to confirm his ScoreCard account accurately reflects his purchases, bringing his point total to 1549.56....

He was issued a $50.00 reward certificate for the qualifying and accumulated points. The 800 numbers has no idea of this complaint and is unwilling to honor any price errors, since my background check was completed without my consent, I would like to purchase the product at the price first quoted, I will not call any 800 number, you will have to call or email me. My background check was completed by dick's without my consent and you have madeno attempts to make truce of this. I will follow up with the local DA’s office if this issue is unsolved.

this complaint was not successfully resolved. I have still not received a refund for shoes I have not received. I have been calling them multiple times. Haven't been able to get my money refunded

If Dick's were a reputable company, they would honor any accepted orders, even if a mistake was made ON THEIR PART.  Like I said originally, even if they sold the jacket at the "incorrect price" as offered, they would still cover their cost.  Believe me, this will sour my opinion of Dick's - Modell's is also available right close by.  Very disappointed in their feelings of incident - certainly not very customer pleasing.  I guess they just don't care.  Might soon be hearing of their demise.

Merchant's Supervisor initially indicated this was my error and they 'reserve right to change pricing...'I did receive a call yesterday afternoon offering discount on a future order (20%) - I declined indicating I regularly receive discounted offers from dick's and that was not an acceptable resolution.Additionally, they have depleted gift cards for items they subsequently cancelled without explanation- card has been disposed of.  I contacted local retail manager, [redacted] who gave me corporate customer cr to follow-up.  He was very clear in that 'there were no promises...' Of resolution.  At at this point I've invested more then sufficient time & effort to resolve.  Burden of recovering gift card value and obtaining fair resolution should not be placed on consumer.dick's advertised item/price, accepted payment and allowed transactions to process online - clearly they're at fault for deceptive advertising.  The only fair solution is that orders be fulfilled as promised.
