This customer hired a contractor from the contractor’s advertisement on the Done platform.  In late 2015 Done connected the contractor that was hired to this complaint and he agreed to make a warranty call to the customer.  The wires could not be hidden due to internal structural beams in...

the home. This customer has been refunded for the $25 charge to hide the wires well before the complaint was filed. We have tried multiple times to contact the customer with the pro she hired.  Done.com is an advertising platform for contractors; Done.com does not perform contracting work nor employ any contractors. We do not perform any type of work, all contractors on the Done site have paid for advertising to appear on Done.com. This customer’s complaint that he hired Done.com to do the work is inaccurate; we do not provide any service other than advertising.   [redacted]

Customer has indicated to us a $75 refund would be acceptable resolution for this claim.  We are willing to do this, please respond this is acceptable.

I am rejecting this response because:  First of all they called me to try and rectify it.  They blamed the computer and said the system messed up??  The person said we will take care of it and refund your money now.  It took a few days for my money to be refunded but the real problem is that they REFUSED to do the work because I sent a complaint to the Revdex.com.  They said they were NO longer going to work on it because I sent a complaint in..  That is called terrible service considering, I prepaid for the item, then they called me to say they will do the work, then they called me back telling me NO because of the complaint.  Lots of miscommunication and refusal to do the work should be ON THERE RECORD!!!  
**How pist-off would someone be considering someone prepaid $114, confirming the APPT. then telling my tenant unable to locate someone to do the job and then calling me saying they will do it then calling me back and telling me NO because I sent in a Revdex.com complaint??  The company's business practices should be investigated and should be barred from doing business with customers when they received payment, not show up for APPT, then tell me they will do it, then call the customer back and tell them NO because I sent a complaint to Revdex.com..  Please investigate their business practices!!

I am rejecting this response because:The vendor is bring untruthful. I was never offered a discount. I have text messages from done.com office personnel admitting fault. I realize this is a substandard business that lacks honesty, integrity and warranty of their work. They do not hire professional contractors, period. I have had someone from [redacted] correct this issue and the individual who did the work was amazed at the horrible job done.com’s contractor did. AND he used the paint I provided. [redacted] is much more professional and they use contractors they can personally stand behind. I will use them going forward and I highly recommend other consumers beware of done.com. They will NOT warranty their work on any level.

Another tech has been assigned and we are monitoring the situation.

I called Done.com to have to two handymen come to my house and move 3 pieces of heavy furniture from upstairs to downstairs and remove some rolls of carpet. They set up a date of 2 days later (they were booked) and 7pm the night before, a guy called and said he heard he was supposed to be at my house at 11:00 the next day at 11:00 a.m. He said he had a full time job and did this on the side and could no way be here at 11:00. Also said no one else was coming with him. I called done.com at 7:30 pm last night and they said they would take care of it. Called this a.m. and when I said my name at done.com they hung up...3 times. I took the day off and now have no one coming to move furniture. Not w Revdex.com. DO NOT USE THEM! It's a con.

In this case, I believe that [redacted] is correct. I am having a supervisor investigate the confusion and call [redacted].

An email was sent to the customer with a estimate attached on our letterhead on 6/13/17 at 8:14 pm. I have enclosed a copy of the email showing the attachment and signature of [redacted]. The customer responded to the email so I know the email address was correct. Please explain what I am...

missing and why this is not satisfactory.

The customer stated there was a repair issue that caused a wire to the garage door to become damaged.  We offered to send a technician to assess and correct the situation immediately after the customer contacted us at no additional charge. The customer stated that the issue had been resolved with a garage door specialist.
A receipt was requested from the repair company to verify that the wire damage was related to the sheetrock repair. The receipt provided read "miscellaneous repairs" We made a second request for documentation stating that the repair was related to the sheetrock repair completed by Done. The customer was unable to provide this documentation. We agreed that the garage door company could even call us to verify the scope of the repair they completed. To this date the customer has failed to provide and documentation stating that the garage door issue in question was caused by the Done facilitated sheet rock repair.

This customer booked a job to install 2 tv. The customer's tv were installed and the customer acknowledged that they were satisfied with the TV installations per phone on 7/12/17. The customer was only charged for this service. They asked the handyman to install a small self and a power bridge to...

hide the wires for the tv. On 7/12/17 the customer call stating that the wires coming out of the power bridge were twisted and that the self was not level. We told the customer that we would be happy to start a warranty claim and send the provider back to correct any issue. We requested photos of the issue and the customer. On 7/19/17 we called the customer because we had not received any photos. She stated that she would not send them and we should not contact her again. Under state law, I can not charge back a provider without proof of an error or negligence. This customer was non compliant and refused to assist us in helping her in anyway. On 7/26 she charged back her credit card and we absorbed 100% of the lose because of no evidence of wrongdoing. This complaint is completely without merit. The complaint stems from a favor that was done for this lady and she was never charge for it. We closed the complaint on 8/5/17 for no response from the customer. Her Revdex.com complaint supports this by her words of not wanting contact. Here is a copy of the job. It shows she was not charged for a shelf or a power bridge.Thank you, --  [redacted]
