The Home Owners are willing to Compromise. We do not want the bent up window that was delivered by [redacted] A brand new window should be ordered and delivered the correct way with protective covering and with an up to date warranty from the window manufacturer. Also, no bricks are to be removed from the front of the houseWe do not want the front of the house disturbed we have had to professional estimated from two different companiesBoth companies can replace window without removing a brick(s) If these other companies can install window without disturbing the front of the house, DR Horton should be able to do the same. There is also the warranty issue of the siding along the back of the house upstairs near another window that needs to be replaced. If DR Horton agrees to:- a brand new window being ordered with a brand new warranty in writing .- no brick removal or disturbance to the front of the house, and- the siding replaced in the back of the house,We can all move forward. We have enclosed a picture of how a brand new window should look like when delivered. Our main concern is having the window replaced correctly this time and no other disturbances to the rest of the house, these are our terms. Please respond through the Revdex.com if DR Horton is ready to resolve this ongoing issue(s)

If all work is completed by the end of July 19th to include the retaining wall installed throughout the back yard, the wood floors replaced, the carpet in the master bedroom carpet replaced, damaged roof, gutters, master bath tub replaced, the master shower fixed, light fixture on staircase repaired, the complaint will stand. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below
DR Horton's response indicating that having a meeting with *** ***l regarding the interactions with and work performed by their subcontractors is the same thing that we did before this complaintEven today September 1st, the subcontractor was late and the supervisor was even laterWhen we contacted DR Horton regarding the lack of supervision, our warranty person *** did come to the house to discuss our concerns with the work and lack of supervision*** was able to get the appropriate supervision here after about an hourWe also had to redirect the subcontractors to allow sufficient time for the grout to dry before they applied a sealant on top of that - it is quite frustrating to have to repeatedly explain to the subcontractors proper procedures per the labels on the materials they are using. We had previously sent DR Horton a letter via Fed Ex, email, and through their website regarding our issues with the process of completing warranty itemsPer our letter, DR Horton responded indicating that the tile work would be completed at the end of July - while we realize that not all delays are avoidable, many of our concerns are with the craftsmanship and professionalism (i.e.: bringing enough, correct materials) of DR Horton's subcontractorsDR Horton appears to have no control or influence over subcontractors. While we appreciate DR Horton's continued dialogue, we were hoping for actionable dialogue between DR Horton and their subcontractors

I am rejecting this response because:DR Horton is not addressing the problem and only wishes to address what they consider the proper corrective action They have only sent ONE inspector not several DR Horton installed the flooring incorrectly which voids the warranty I have attached inspection report that outlines the overall issues/problems You will see that the inspector puts a strong emphasis on what was under the installers control The second attachment is the warranty from Mohawk which clearly states that the warranty is void is the sub floor is installed incorrectly It also requires the floor to be installed under humidity controlled environment and it was not DR Horton does not wish to negotiate a fair resolution where both parties are accommodated Instead it appears as if they are trying to force a consumer to settle I have consulted several professional companies and not one has ever provided a solution close to what they recommend

Good afternoon *** I received documentation on a filed complaint regarding homeowner *** *** ** *** *** ***There was a communication error between the warranty technician and the homeownerA warranty field supervisor, Walter Ward, contacted Mr*** yesterday afternoon, 4/Mr*
