Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I received a email from the business in regards to the... warranty. I've never heard of a one year warranty on a brand new house. I will be looking into this and responding back to you shortly. This was not discussed during the selling of the house. I was under the impression the the house came with a 20 year warranty from the date of purchase. I've been having issues with the house and the warranty every since I bought the house in which I expressed my concerns with the representatives on several occasions. Regards, [redacted]

I have spoken with Mr [redacted] already regarding his home He closed on his [redacted] Home in I explained to him that he was outside of his one year builders warranty and his year structural warranty as well He asked me what he was really trying to find out is who was the owner of [redacted] Homes, what was the owners name, I informed him that I did not know He said that he would find out from public records He asked me if D.RHorton purchased [redacted] Homes, I told him yes they did I again explained to him that he was outside of his one year builders warranty which was offered to him by [redacted] , and outside the 2/Structural Warranty through RWC

The landscaper and his crew were so professional and did a great job Thank you and DR Horton for completing the work we were promised when we purchased our home from them

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the landscaper did a terrible job at resolving my drainage issue I have attached some pictures to show the crappy job that he did the landscaper just dug a ditch down the middle of my back yard and on the sides and also let the hole going out the back The whole job just looks terrible landscaper and I am very unsatisfiedLandscaper put grass over the ditch.I do believe that this job is not resolving the drainage issue and now my yard is ruinedThe landscaper just wanted to get the work done just to get rid of me or to get rid of the issueThe drainage issue could have been resolved by putting a drainage system underground instead of digging a ditch and putting grass over I believe that the digging the ditch did not resolve the issue it just made it woresIt's sloppy work all around Regards, [redacted]

Since this home closed on 2/19/15, DR Horton has made numerous repairs on several occasions to this home to remedy the claims submitted by the homeownerThe work DR Horton has completed also includes many non-warrantable items that were requested by the homeowner and completed by DR Horton in an effort to satisfy the customer.To resolve any remaining warrantable issues, DR Horton would like to set up a meeting with the homeowner to review alleged defects still pending and to coordinate necessary repairs if the requests are indeed deemed warrantable.Since this notification from the Revdex.com, DR Horton’s Construction Manager has made attempts at contacting the homeowner to set up a meetingThe contact attempts are listed below:· 8/11/at 4:23pm phone call: Homeowner was too busy to talk and requested a call back the next day.· 8/12/at 12:40pm phone call: No answer from homeowner.· 8/12/at 3:pm phone call: No answer from homeowner.· 8/13/at 11:35am phone call: No answer from homeowner.· 8/13/at 1:55pm email: Construction Manager sent the homeowner an email requesting a time to meet; no response has been received at this time.We will continue to try and contact the homeowner and look forward to resolving this claim in a timely fashion

We appreciate the customer reaching out to us regarding their concernWe understanding the claim was first issued in September, when a construction superintendent inspected the home and had the stucco company inspect the wall to determine the possible leak sourceUpon inspection, it was determined that a few minor cracks occurred in the stucco, which were found to be normal, non-warrantable stucco cracks that do not exceed the 1/inch wide criteria under the [redacted] one-year limited warrantyAs communicated by a warranty service member in an update provided to the homeowner on 12/18, the results of the exterior water leak detection inspection found the leak to be related to normal, non-warrantable stucco cracks per the criteria mentioned above

A voicemail was left on 12/6/for *** [redacted] from the Customer Service Coordinator

Good afternoon [redacted] I have spoken with the homeowner referenced above, and have verified that the needed repairs to the gutter will be made prior to end of business on Monday The homeowner has been given my direct contact information in case there are any issues This will be complete by Monday Thank you, [redacted] ** ***

I have attached three photos showing where the doggie waste station was installed near Ms [redacted] unitThe doggie stations are installed in locations based on the best visibility and access to our homeowners while walking their petsThe community of Via Sorento has a contracted janitorial vendor that services the community twice a week, part of this service includes the cleof pet wasteViolations are sent to homeowners who do not clean up after their pets and fines are assessed according to the community’s fine policy The health department has not made contact with AAM regarding any complaints The exterior of the condo units are sprayed monthlyI advised Ms [redacted] to contact me if she required any additional spraying from the exterminator and I would send them to spray around her unitMs [redacted] did not contact me to confirm she would like to schedule an exterminator to come outI have contacted the community exterminator and they will be spraying around Ms [redacted] unit within the next business days

We scheduled work at the homeowner’s home on the 19th and again yesterday. We have called to verify that all remaining items were resolved but have not heard back from the customer yet. As of now, the homeowner’s requests have been addressed.
