We are sorry to hear that [redacted] feels that he was lied to. There were no deceptive practices performed.  A few new plans were brought in to fit a need and were under construction and advertised on 7/8/16, before [redacted] closed on 7/27/16. The referenced price point [redacted] is...

referring to is a 2,247 square foot home, which is the smallest square footage offered.  We did sell this home at $244,990, or $109 square foot. We do not feel this is an inferior product, as the price per square foot is in line with the market and neighborhood. Home offerings are currently in the 2,247-3,196 square footage range and are selling and closing from $99 square foot to $111 square foot.

The property in
question originally closed on 7/25/2005, the home’s structural warranty expired
this past July. The 2nd owner, Ms. [redacted] reported an issue with
her sliding glass door and hardwood flooring on 7/9/2015 we responded with a
certified letter explaining that her warranty with D.R....

Horton had expired and
directed her to contact Residential Warranty Corporation (RWC). There was no
response from Ms. [redacted] until 2/29/2016, we then dispatched our Customer
Service Representative to meet with Ms. [redacted] in order to assess her issues
and offer advice. The issues stated by Ms. [redacted] in this Revdex.com complaint are
not covered under the D.R. Horton warranty or the RWC warranty as both have
expired. After reviewing the complaint, we feel this complaint is unjustified
and should be removed from our company profile.Sincerely,

Revdex.com Response ID#[redacted] DR Horton Customer Service has reassigned the warranty request items from the builder to a Customer Service Tech, the Tech is currently working with Ms. [redacted] in addressing the warranted items as noted. Previous offers were made and agreed to by the V P, and...

Construction Managers of the DFW-East Division to address the wood floor.  After the agreement was made Ms. [redacted] changed her position on the agreement and wanted additional boards replaced. This was denied. DR Horton is still prepared to make the repairs to the wood floor as previously offered. [redacted] Customer Service Manager DFW East [redacted]

I spoke with Ms. [redacted] on Friday, June 3rd and have resolved the issue. We agreedto replace the foyer carpet with material from the master closet and replace the masterbedroom closet with new carpet. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate tocontact me.

Response to Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted] We are still in process of solving the landscaping/sidewalk issue with Ms. [redacted] to her satisfaction.  Due to the heavy rains lately in the Huntsville area, the landscaping company has not been able to continue with the drainage issue.  We are hoping to have this solved by March 1, 2016.   [redacted] Customer Service Coordinator-DR Horton

I am rejecting this response because:Good day Ms Ford. I finally recieved the response from regent homes. It is unacceptable. Regent have been negligent in duties since the closing of this house. The landscape has been an issue from the beginning, now after 2 years and a recent screen porch addition....regent cast blame to it. They have done nothing within there contract agreement. The nail holes...no repair. The plumbing...toilets and tubs bubbles up when the washer drain. The outside water sprouts flows with dirty water until running it for a minute. The rugs have big humps in them. The chalking has come unattached thoughout the house and the  garage. The floors upstairs has weak points in them. The outside lighting 2nd lever has never worked. The outside Windows hasn't been chalked. I could go on and on. Regent, dr horton should be ashamed at the very poor service.

D.R. Horton provides a robust warranty to its customers at the close of each home. While the warranty is transferable to a new homeowner, the warranty related to plumbing is extinguished after two years. Despite this limitation, D.R. Horton is happy to assist homeowners in contacting the plumber or...

the manufacturer of the plumbing part when an issue arises. It is our understanding the pex plumbing product utilized in homes completed in 2010 was manufactured by [redacted] and some has been defective. D.R. Horton encourages those affected to contact [redacted] or [redacted].

I am rejecting this response because:I have sent multiple requests to DR horton (over several months)to complete warranty repair of painting the stucco repair and replacing pavers which were marked with an "X". Also, when they stucco'd [redacted], they destroyed my sod and oversprayed /splattered along the entire side of my home. I want DR Horton to contact me to schedule these repairs. They are not to simply show up and work on my house, with no one here.

Just got off the phone with [redacted] and he said there were still a couple of concerns to address, and we went over those.

Our Warranty Field Director, [redacted], will contact the homeowner soon to discuss replacing the GFI to hold a higher amp.
