The excuses are not accepted, first they wrote" We apologize if the move failed to meet his expectations" The word "his" , I am a woman therefore they must have my case mistaken with the one for a male customerMy furniture was promised to be delivered between February 15th and 16th, and they stated in an answer to Revdex.com on March 3rd that they had delivered, That was lie #1,Secondly they changed the amount and payment method, the whole amount was supposed to be put on credit cardIt was not until I had the following agencies after them that they decided to deliver my furniture: These are the companies who went after East Coast: 1-US Dept of Transportation 2-Riviera Beach Police Dept: officer DeSantis 3-West Palm Beach Police Dept 4-Elk Grove Police Dept 5-Florida State Attorney General 6-Federal Trade Commission 7- NCCDB National Consumer Complaint Database 8-Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services 9-Texas Consumer Protection Services 10- Global Security Dept with my firm 11- Plano Policy Dept It took agencies to get my furniture back, and it is all damaged and I have furniture missing Even the people who delivered my furniture told and over and over that there is no excuse to hold on to my furniture for daysI have a lot of damage, and the people who delivered the furniture said that the damage occurred because they didn't put pads on the furnitureThe mattresses are all cut in several places, one mattress has horrible Red Stains, it seems like blood, all the tables are completely scratched and broken and I have pieces missing

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/08/06) */ We ask that this client contact the office and speak with the manager [redacted] regarding a refundWe are unable to locate a client by this name in our system so we ask they contact us to figure this out Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/08/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) We finally received our refund check on 6/30/The check came in a regular envelope rather than a company envelope or security envelopeMy check was dated 7/13/2013, but the envelope was dated 7/27/Again I apologize if I ever typed [redacted] our sales agent name was [redacted] ( [redacted] ) and we spoke with a [redacted] who was supposed to be [redacted] managerMy overall experience is that I don't trust this company and again could not confirm it is was a full company or people working in a basementThe fact that they took our deposit and did a no call no show days in a row states they cannot be trusted

I dont even know where to startIt has now been days and our items have not even been shipped from Miami Florida yetWe moved to California and were quoted days for the moveWe have been there now for days and today they tell us, "Sorry but you live in a remote area and we cannot ship your stuff" WE LIVE NEXT TO SACRAMENTO, CA the capital of CALIFORNIA!Mind you this is days after they have kept our stuf! Would have been nice if CLAY would have told us that when we bookedThey have terrible customer service, when you call they don't answer the phone, "East Coaster Moving and storage, this is "name" They just answer "EAST COAST" No one is trained on customer service, our stuff has not even moved and they belatedly have lied to us over and overPlease NEVER use this company as they are 100% fraudulent

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The business response is unacceptable While I think their business tactics with regard to service charge for stairs are misleading, it was set forth in the contract and I accept partial blame for not catching it However, their mere response that my bed "has been sent," is not acceptable to me In fact, this is basically the response they have been providing me this entire time It is now nearly three months later I was forced to purchase a new mattress as I simply could not go without a bed for three months, nor should I have to This has been a significant inconvenience to me and I should, at minimum, be reimbursed for the mattress I was forced to purchase Sincerely, [redacted]

I was trying personally to contact this client to work things out with her, her items in storage for month and she's not answering our phones, now she come up with that complains probably to avoid storage charges, client need to provide a valid phone number and I will personally call her to work out a discount and send her items for delivery

We apologize for the delay with the claim however it does clearly indicate on the quote that it can take up to months to complete a claim

Man these guys really busted their buts to get me and my family moved out with ones day notice and they did a great jobWrapped all the stuff up and took apart the bedsOn delivery they put it all back together and set up the house for us!

Moving is never easy but these professionals at East Coast made it easy on meNo breakage no headaches no overcharges and the guys and staff were friendly

If you are reading this, it is probably too late This company claims it's not a broker, but I know for a fact that they are running several companies with different names from the same office How do I know this? My rep mistakenly called me back from a different number I redialed the number and got Frontier Van Lines with the same phone menu options I googled the FVL website, and they offer the same pie in the sky rates, with the same scattered reviews online In short they are very bad The rep assured me they would be a few days on each end They were very late on both ends, but within their contracted time Some of my furniture was damaged The master bed was poorly reassembledI noticed there were extra screws laying around when I signed the form, but the guy told me they were not for anything Sure enough, hours later, the bed had no internal support when I wanted to move it, so I had to put it together I was able to salvage my time and money by demanding that they take everything that was on my inventory list out of my house They claimed that the inventory list was only an estimate and they would only take "cubes." They wanted to charge me $6,more for the rest of my furniture and boxes To limit the damage I agreed that they can take cubes as long as I get to pick what they took I had them hoist all of my heaviest stuff, then I rented a UHaul for all the boxes for $ This plan worked because I have above average strength and because they made me wait so long I had nothing else to do with my whole house packed up, but devise a strategy to limit the damage they do to my family They thrive on new movers who don't realize how much stuff they really have Please, please ask them why they don't charge by the pound and don't honor their estimates

The staff was very professional from start to finishI got an onsite moving quote from Chris who really knew his stuffHe explained the entire moving process to me so I felt comfortable using them and when the crew came out they executed the plan from start to finish just as planned and we had no hiccups or headaches and the quote was binding as promised not a penny more so much thanks and you guys rock!

I dont know how I would have been able to pull it off myself and I have used before and all three times they managed to scratch chip or overcharge me but this move with East Coast from New York to LA went smooth as can be despite the terrible weather boy did it snowthe crew was not deterred or grumpy led by Hector they were hardworking and on delivery set up the home to my wifes specs which is priceless in itself

The client was mailed an invoice more than a week ago and if she has not recieved it we ask she call the office to speak with [redacted] who will resned it our fax it to her

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The statement and explanation from the business is inaccurate I updated my inventory list multiple times and it was accurate, and my estimate was based on what was accurately listed on my inventory list The manager who showed up stated very clearly to me that he had no idea why my job would be quoted such a low amount of cubic feet based on what was on my inventory listThis is a clear indication that the sales person was not truthful or honest in his dealings and in selling me the job Sincerely, ***- [redacted]

DO NOT use this company no matter what you do!!! They are horrible! When you call in to set up a load with themThey have this good old boy, Larry with his sweet understanding ways, gives you a binding quote that he emails you" Oh if you need anything please call me, I can take care of everythingThen you book with them set up a time and date to have your deceased mother's things pick up to be moved to your location miles awayA different pick up company shows up and take hours to load everything you have already boxed up yourself and color coded to be shippedThey then give you a "new" landing document that is times then amount you were quoted and drive off with your deceased mother's thingsNow if that wasn't bad enoughYou try for a week and a half to get someone anyone to call you back about this "new bill" and NO one doesall you get is a bunch of run around emails from people how do not have the authority to give you an answer

Dear [redacted] , you signed a binding estimate to move you from KY to NY, on that binding estimate you gave us a list of items that include items, when the driver arrived to your house he went true everything you wanted to move and came up with a list of nearly items that you wanted to move, at this point you had options, is to let us pick up everything for the new revised estimate price or to let us only take the original items for the original estimated price, you were talking to the office and insisted that you wanted to take everything that u had in the house for the original estimated price and that was impossibleBest RegardsSean O

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: They finally sent me an email with a settlement.....ready for this $for almost years of crap, beating around the bush, lies and deceit Not to mention, what the hell am I supposed to do with $174.00, that doesn't even cover the Psthat was stolen, how about the pictures of all the broken items, all the boxes that never even arrived.....this is BS on the highest of levels I am not signing this nor am IO agreeing to this slap in the face of an amount The least you could have done was refunded us what we paid Sincerely, Jennifer ***

well I must say that moving with this company has been a HORRIBLE DISRESPECTFUL STRESSFUL MOVE FULL OF LIES ADVERTISMENT BEYOND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEthey lied about price not a single truck with this company actually handled our thingsthey dont care about the customers and held our things hostagethe girl on the phone im assuming is the secretary is disrespectful and doesnt listen and has a poor attituderichard is a liar and soon as they got our money they werent answering our callsour things are damagednothing went the way they saidthey lied about taking credit card etchorrible excuse of a companysave yourself the money and nonsense and go with anybody else but this companywe just got our belongingsand we are persuing legal action as we speakalot more to say about them but I dont wanna ruin my lawsuit by slandering them so thats all I will saythank you

I unfortunately hired East Coast Moving and Storage and got a hard sell on how the company has an A+ rating with Revdex.comSince then I am seeing a SLEW of complaints from customers posted on this website in July (unfortunately for me, AFTER I hired them)My experience has, so far, been similar to these complaints - They charge by square foot, and miraculously, my estimated square footage was significantly lower than what the movers said it was actuallyjust like the other complaints I'm reading! The money I thought I would save by hiring them is goneI thought Revdex.com's A+ rating hinged on the company's ability to give accurate estimates with no surprise hidden costsBesides, I did a move a year and a half ago, had no additional large items since then, yet somehow my load was over sq feet higher than when I moved previously - I have made made several calls to their company to just inquire on the status of my deliverynot to complainjust to get an update, and surprise-surprise, only sales will answer the phone, customer service will not, claims will not, dispatch will notWhen sales figured out I was just calling to inquire about my existing delivery, now even they have stopped answering the phoneGuess they have caller ID and they are screening My advice to potential customersdespite Revdex.com giving them an A+ rating (I'm not sure how this is even possible as East Coast seems to miss on every one of their criteria) PLEASE read the complaintsthey seem to be a more reliable source of what your experience will be like- Just wish they were there before July so I would know the wheels would come off this company just as I needed a mover

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: $is not the requested refund Due to the time it has taken to resolve this, I will counter at $which is far less than I originally requested The cost per day that I was without my items is far more than $total and was outlined in the original claim Sincerely, Kiley [redacted]

When I called they give me a quote for when the movers got to my house he added $more to my initially quote okay I paid the different, but after they pick up and left my house I noticed that they left behinds several items at my houseI called the office to report no one answers or return my called, after days I was able to speak with one of the customer repThey told me they were going to send someone to pick up the items I waited for a couples of days no one called or even pass by the house, I called again and now they saying that the items were not included my bed legs for real To add up it has been weeks and they haven't deliver my furniture Everything about this company has been a disaster This is the first time I write a review but I need to let people know what this company is about
