These guys are real troopers it was pouring rain and my condo didn't have access for the truck to roll right up to the door so they had to hike it quite a ways and it was so hot but they did it with no complaints and didn't nick a thing. My girlfriend is very obsessive so she really inspected all the belongings on arrival and every single piece was intact and the guys were super patient with her request to put thing in certain spots so thanks a million fellas

The client was issued a settlement per the insurance they had with their move and we also are trying to accomodate the client by doing the settlement electronically instead of through the postal mail as usual please sign and return the settlement letter for compensation.

I was quoted $2500 by Jason/sales rep to pick up & deliver my furniture from a bedroom Apt in Indianapolis to San Jose CA. When the truck picked up my furniture, was told the cost is now raised to $3500. (Was 433 cu feet). I gave Jason arrival date to deliver would be June 15th & he assured me it would be there on time. As of today July 27th, my furniture still hasn't arrived & I've been lied to for past six weeks as to where it is & when it will be delivered. According to their dispatch, it's on the truck & will be here in 2-3 days. I've been given this answer for a month & a half with still no delivery. Was told last Friday my furniture would be here Sunday or Monday. When I called today was told the truck is in San Diego & will be 2-3 more days upon arrival. I looked up [redacted] reviews & everyone has same complaints. All 1 star ratings. And thrust boast on website they're a Revdex.com A+ rating which is another lie. I've moved several times in past 10 years & NEVER had this trouble! Their unethical & harsh behavior towards customers cannot be defined in words. They should be shut down by Attorney General!

It was hot, there was no AC and the stairs must have been brutal but the crew and office staff at East Coast were helpful every step of the way and they made me feel like my belongings were in good hands. Delivery was seamless cause they marked all the boxes and I had zero damages. Great job.

150% satisfied. I had East Coast Moving deliver all my belongings from florida to new jersey with nothing broken or missing. Their customer service when I first called was nothing id experienced from other moving companies. They were completely professional and punctual. I recommend them to anyone moving. Their service made my move stress free.

I am rejecting this response because: The intial phone quote was RIDICULOUSLY LESS than actual amount. It is a scam to get people to commit, then after belongings already loaded they come with the REAL price. Absolute ripoff!

I moved from Cali back to New York. It was amazing to see a business still on point. They gave me a quote of 3200, as the other companies varied horrible reviews despite the low prices. These guys at East Coast Moving are not only respectful with all request but are clean with their work. I told them I needed them to be careful as possible, did not seem to be a problem in the first place. I like their personality and commitment, I had my delivery time just as said.

The text of the feedback form asking whether the customer was pressured into providing a tip indicates that this has been a problem in the past. Asking the question on a feedback form that the customer must hand back to the person in question is not an effective way to address the issue. I would hope that a business would be more concerned than this about poor customer service that borders on harassment.

I am rejecting this response because: What is accurate on the business part: it is an estimate and they came to the location.What is not accurate: telling the customer that the estimate of 458 cubic feet will now be 870 and the overage will cost an extra $1700 (or $4.50 per cubic ft without even loading a single box or item in the truck. I had to use [redacted] and a moving crew to move which cost me additional money due to the last minute. After loading everything into the truck the total cubic foot came up to 672. Which should have cost me an extra $459.00 which at that point I would have agreed to pay. I can also show a copy of my receipt for the Upack trailer confirming the space used.I have used 10 different moving company in the past 15 years due to my job making me relocate constantly and here is what all company have done and what a good moving company should have done. - They should have started loading the goods, show the customer after the 480 cubic feet contracted- Ask the client if they would like to load the additional goods by telling them how much extra would it cost. - Client should then make the decision, if they would like to load the additional goods or not We were only told to make the decision and agreeing on the extra cost at that moment before having them loading the truck. Driver told us that if we were not agreeing right away, they would not load anything and leave. I told the driver that I would pay up to an extra $1000 but not $1700 as I knew that we had a little more than the quote, we didn't have double the load.Driver, also asked me if I was from Europe, which I told him I was and mentioned that it was the was it was done Here in the US, which me and my wife found extremely discriminatoryDriver also mentioned to me that if they don't want to use us they don't have to and we can get our deposit back, which is also the reason why we didn't move forward. When calling the main office, I spoke to a manager who didn't let me talk or even listen to what I had to say. She started the conversation with I know what happened, you are wrong, my driver knows what he is doing, your deposit is not refundable, goodbye. Putting honest people, who are already stressed on moving and relocating to another state, on making a decision at that exact same minute requesting almost double the money quoted is unacceptable and a scam. I am sure it did happened to other honest people who had to make the decision and pay the additional money. They only thing I ask is my deposit back and I will even negotiate up to $400.00 out of the $600 to pay for the labor and fuel.
