I am rejecting this response because: The statement and explanation from the business is inaccurate.  I updated my inventory list multiple times and it was accurate, and my estimate was based on what was accurately listed on my inventory list.  The manager who showed up stated very clearly to me that he had no idea why my job would be quoted such a low amount of cubic feet based on what was on my inventory list. This is a clear indication that the sales person was not truthful or honest in his dealings and in selling me the job.

They finally sent me...

an email with a settlement.....ready for this.  $174.00 for almost 3 years of crap, beating around the bush, lies and deceit.  Not to mention, what the hell am I supposed to do with $174.00, that doesn't even cover the Ps4 that was stolen, how about the 72 pictures of all the broken items, all the boxes that never even arrived.....this is BS on the highest of levels.  I am not signing this nor am IO agreeing to this slap in the face of an amount.  The least you could have done was refunded us what we paid.

well I must say that moving with this company has been a HORRIBLE DISRESPECTFUL STRESSFUL MOVE FULL OF LIES FALSE ADVERTISMENT BEYOND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. they lied about price not a single truck with this company actually handled our things. they dont care about the customers and held our things hostage. the girl on the phone im assuming is the secretary is disrespectful and doesnt listen and has a poor attitude. richard is a liar and soon as they got our money they werent answering our calls. our things are damaged. nothing went the way they said. they lied about taking credit card etc. horrible excuse of a company. save yourself the money and nonsense and go with anybody else but this company. we just got our belongings. and we are persuing legal action as we speak. alot more to say about them but I dont wanna ruin my lawsuit by slandering them so thats all I will say. thank you

Although the deposit is nonrefundable we would be willingf to apply the deposit to the cost for moving services provided in the future

No, these people have acted criminally. They never returned any of my calls in the past 20 days, I have screen shot from my cell that shows all the call I placed to the company and they never returned any of the calls or emails, they only time they called me was 0n 02/25 at 8:33 am, from phone 224-875-6908 instructing me that if I want to see my furniture again, I would have to deposit money, in form of cash, in an account and not let anyone know, that is not the actions of a honest business, that is not the action of someone who didn't deliver the furniture due to bad weather. They took my credit card, cash from my account, my furniture and disappeared without a trace, without ever contacting me. When Lieutenant [redacted] got them on the phone, they never said anything about bad weather, in fact they asked for more money. This people are criminal, now the case is no longer civil, because they have the money and is holding the furniture hostage, now the case has become criminal. I am still sleeping on the floor and my furniture has not been delivered yet. They got more money from me last Friday, in electronic payment, and they still don't return my phone calls and all my possessions disappeared. Where is my furniture? I am sleeping on the floor for 20 days already. I have no clothes to go to work. I have nothing, these people are criminal, they took money from my account, they took all my credit card information and disappeared with all my belongs

The excuses are not accepted, first they wrote" We apologize if the move failed to meet his expectations" The word "his" , I am a woman therefore they must have my case mistaken with the one for a male customer. My furniture was promised to be delivered between February 15th and 16th, and they stated in an answer to Revdex.com on March 3rd that they had delivered, That was lie #1,Secondly they changed the amount and payment method, the whole amount was supposed to be put on credit card. It was not until I had the following agencies after them that they decided to deliver my furniture:

It took 11 agencies to get my furniture back, and it is all damaged and I have furniture missing.
Even the people who delivered my furniture told and over and over that there is no excuse to hold on to my furniture for 33 days. I have a lot of damage, and the people who delivered the furniture said that the damage occurred because they didn't put pads on the furniture. The mattresses are all cut in several places, one mattress has horrible Red Stains, it seems like blood, all the tables are completely scratched and broken and I have pieces missing

I am extremely disappointed with their level of service and price. They actually robbed me and in return left me in nowhere. Initially the quote seemed very reasonable but in the end they almost doubled the cost adding so many hidden fees! I ended up with lots of damaged and broken valuables and on top of that they were 3 days late to deliver my belongings. These guys should be thrown out of the business.

DO NOT use this company no matter what you do!!! They are horrible! When you call in to set up a load with them. They have this good old boy, Larry with his sweet understanding ways, gives you a binding quote that he emails you. " Oh if you need anything please call me, I can take care of everything. Then you book with them set up a time and date to have your deceased mother's things pick up to be moved to your location 1700 miles away. A different pick up company shows up and take 9 hours to load everything you have already boxed up yourself and color coded to be shipped. They then give you a "new" landing document that is 3 times then amount you were quoted and drive off with your deceased mother's things. Now if that wasn't bad enough. You try for a week and a half to get someone anyone to call you back about this "new bill" and NO one does. all you get is a bunch of run around emails from people how do not have the authority to give you an answer.

We have received the clients claim and we are processing it accordingly.  We have 9 mon the to conclude the claim as described in contract

I moved from Chicago to Los Angeles CA and I don't recommend this company for long distance move. The sales agent initial quote for moving a one bedroom unit was $2,095 and after everything got picked up and delivered...my final moving expense ended up to be at $3,325. This company charge you on everything and the agent provides false information especially when I asked how long it will take for my things to get to LA.. He said 8-10 days... Well it ended up to be 23 days! Moving is already a huge undertaking and a reliable and honest movers would have been nice.. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me. I hope this review will serve its purpose for those other people looking for a reliable moving company.

East Coast Moving and Storage did a solid job. I found them on [redacted] and saw there great reviews and after speaking to Jason and getting a detailed quote I hired them and they performed the move beautifully with no hiccups or mistakes. Five stars for sure thanks guys!

amazing service for a great price. The value was definitely worth it and the guys really took their time with fragile items and the antiques we were concerned about. Would hire again in a second.

We gave the client an estimate over the phone for a specific inventory and price. On move day the inventory to be moved was different than discussed and it was more than just the size of the sofa. There were  additional items, packing and over sized items as well and when the client was given a...

new price for the added services they declined and therefore forfeited the deposit.

There are no Hidden fees all the charges are mentioned in the other charges section of the estimate which was emailed to the client and which the client esigned for to confirm receipt

I moved from Tampa FL to Charlotte NC on 10/30.
1. Sales person does not know how to give estimate. Calculated 400 + cu ft for 2 bed room apartment family, total crap.
2. Did not mention that we have to give 280$ cash other than actual estimate when they are loading stuff, I ran to ATM at 10PM night.
3. Movers called me and said they would come by 1PM to 3Pm to move, but they came at 7.15 PM and moved my stuffs until 11 PM. Neighbors stared shouting at us because of noises and troubles.
4. Movers calculated 800+ cu ft and quoted double the cost of estimate. Imagine 4000$ for 2 BHK flat. When I asked the reason, they were blabbering something and asked if you want to move or not. That was the last day of the month, I have to vacate my home by next day and got a flight by afternoon. And I had paid an upfront amount of 625$ as advance which is non refundable, I didn’t have any chance to think about other alternatives.
5. No labelings done for the stuffs are being moved.
6. The person who did the move was very rude and not ready to discuss anything
7. During the move, I was told that I would get my things in 4-5 days maximum. But finally I got it after 15 days. That is, 11/15. I had been calling them regularly to know about the status, the were keep on saying that I would get it in 2 days. Non responsible customer service and dispatch people.
I would certainly not recommending or never utter the name of East Coast Moving and Storage name to any of my enemies even.
Everyone is laughing at me for paying around 4000$ for the move and waited for 15 days to get them.

I dont even know where to start. It has now been 45 days and our items have not even been shipped from Miami Florida yet. We moved to California and were quoted 30 days for the move. We have been there now for 45 days and today they tell us, "Sorry but you live in a remote area and we cannot ship your stuff" WE LIVE NEXT TO SACRAMENTO, CA the capital of CALIFORNIA!. Mind you this is 45 days after they have kept our stuf! Would have been nice if CLAY would have told us that when we booked. They have terrible customer service, when you call they don't answer the phone, "East Coaster Moving and storage, this is "name" They just answer "EAST COAST" No one is trained on customer service, our stuff has not even moved and they belatedly have lied to us over and over. Please NEVER use this company as they are 100% fraudulent.

Amazing, I was astounded by the amount of time they took, I moved from Denver, To Berkley, and it only took them 3 days, I was very happy with their service and hope to work with them again in the future!

Moving is never easy but these professionals at East Coast made it easy on me. No breakage no headaches no overcharges and the guys and staff were friendly.
