I am rejecting this response because: this company lies I never signed off of anythingThey have completely lied All items were discussed prior to their arrivalNothing was extra except the couches were longer than anticipated Their sales man completely mislead meThey cancelled the contract without ever contacting me despite repeated request to speak with a manager Their customer service was rude I am so discussed with this whole experience The sales person went on and on about how brokers in the business give a quote but then change the price once you are locked in and how they were different Then they did exactly that The packing of items was supposedly included in their quoteAll items were part of the quoteThe couches ended up being inches longer because of a mis measure and that took the quote from to Any one would have had a problem They could not be reached by phone when the driver was at the houseI still have received no such call Because of their poor business practices I was not able to secure the furniture I was not at the pick up location so any such signed off document they have is fraudulentlying producedI wasn't their and I did not sign anything electronically other than the agreement to move which they disabled the link as soon as the driver left the locationIt had been sent to me via email and before I could print it off it was gone Obviously they do not have any intention of trying to resolve thisThey have stolen from meHave refused to speak with me and are now making up lies to justify keeping my money rather than acknowledge their driver was in the wrongThe driverstated to my family members on site that it wasn't worth his time to make that long trip for the quoted price That is the reason they cancelled my pick upAnd that driver said I would get my deposit back if I didn't want to pay the higher priceWhat liarsThey have robbed me of getting this furniture Robbed me of my deposit and now, they are making up lies about the whole situation because they refuse to answer my dozens of phone calls Or I get someone on the phone who doesn'the know anything, including how to get hold of a managerIt's ridiculous I told the driver I would move just the couches and nothing else but he still would not take them for the agreed upon price so their claim that there was all this extra stuff is just crap I also told the sales man I would be willing to pay more but I had a problem with and could not get a return call about this I don't understand how they can take the position they have taken except they are a deceptive company with poor management and steeling from people that they have misled is how they make their money No one should ever use this companyIt's not worth it Sincerely,

Moving is such hard work I honestly was feeling ill at the thought of doing it myself and the prices I got from some movers was crazy so much thanks to Jack and the movers at East Coast who treated me and my family like we were important and they actually cared about our stuff and the mover Juan and Jesse were friendly and didn't mind moving things around to place them where my wife wantedSo happy wife happy life thanks guys

This was, without a doubt, the worst company interaction I have ever hadThe movers showed up with no idea my quote included paying them to pack my entire houseI was charged more than double my original quoteWhen I called weeks after my pick up, I was told my items were nearly half wayI heard nothing until I called back a week later and was told my items were leaving the picityTurns out my inventory list had been shipped with someone else's furniture, so mine sat in a warehouse for weeksCustomer service was unhelpful, rude, and often contradicted their own previous statements Once I asked to speak to a manager, the representative said she would transfer me, and I waited in silence for minutesNo one ever answeredMy items were finally delivered weeks after pickup(I was told when booking the move it should be 10-days)of my items never made it to the destination and another were brokenI have been waiting months for the resolution of my insurance claim and have heard nothingI absolutely cannot understand how a company that performed so poorly at every step of their operation can have an A+ rating

This client booked a job with us for dollar moving from FL to VA, we confirm with the client that she need to pay on delivery with cash or postal money order, client sent an email that she agreed but when we arrive for the delivery she didn't have the money to payper her contract her
redelivery fee is 900, we didn't charge her we only charged her to bring the items back for the second time, at this point she either need to confirm that she will pay her delivery balance of or we will sent it to our legal departmentto date we have money from this client and we already picked up her job in fl got to the delivery destination in va drove off with the items and now need to redeliver. I hired East Coast Moving and Storage to help me move from Ohio to North CarolinaTo complete the reservation with East Coast Moving and Storage, I had to put down a $deposit
On the moving date (Saturday, 9/19/15), THE MOVERS NEVER SHOWED UP!!! Customer Service does not work on the weekends, so I could not reach anyone to let me know why the movers did not show
I asked for a refund of my deposit early the following weekThey apologized, stated they would send a check, but THE REFUND NEVER CAME!
I followed up on 10/9/They stated they would send another checkTHE REFUND NEVER CAME!
I followed up again on 10/16/They said no check had been mailed out and a check would be mailed by the end of businessI asked for a tracking number and they refusedTHE REFUND NEVER CAME!
I have been fighting for this refund for over months! East Coast Moving and Storage RIPPED ME OFF! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

We are truly sorry that our service failed to meet the clients expectations and we will reach out to him to walk him through the claim process so he can be reimbursed accordingly

Ok so I was overwhelmed with the prospect of moving my familyI travel alot for work and simply could not allocate enough time to move myselfI searched the web and found East Coast Moving and Storage on *** com and I must say they lived up to their credentialsFrom the first phone cal wiith Daniel who was very informative and helpful to the last box being delivered by Patrick it was a first class moving service by a great bunch of guysthanks a million for handling it so well East Coast

The truck only held cubic foot of cargoIf it was over half full how can I be charged for cubic foot when it had less than left? The charges were NOT explained to me until the truck was completely full with my belongingsThe door was shut and the job leader sat down on a lawn chair and started adding numbers, it is at that point the additional charges were explainedHow is that considered "Given a revised quote"? Honestly I would have driven the stuff here in a rental truck if this would have been explained, but IT WAS NEVER EXPLAINED until after the truck door was shut!!!!!!!!

We are sorry that the client feel this way but by their own admittance they had additional items on the move day so it should be expected that the additional items would result in added chargesWe did follow protocol to inform the client of the revised cost and the deposit is disclosed as being non refundable on the estimate the client receivedThere were cost associated with dispatching the truck and men out to the move site

I have approached Eastcoastmove.com moving company for moving from Texas to Illinois in the end of marchInitial quote amount was 1150$ when they came to pick up the amount charged was 2160$As there was no option for me at that time I had to go with themThe people who came for pick up were so rash behavior and they were in a hurry
After multiple followups I got my stuff delivered on April-9th, But lot of things were missing, my office chair was broken, my child car seat was missing, lamp was broken and so many moreWhen I asked about these they said I can claim and it will take months to settleBut you know after many many followups and sending all the photos of the broken items,and it has been months now after April-9th still I did not recieve my checkSince I moved again from my old address they are saying they have mailed check to old address even after repeatedly telling that I had to move againNow they are saying they will take more month to settleThe amount that is claimed is 120$The customer service is one of the worst part of the companyThey treat the customers as fools and they make us to move around themOne more thing is the sales person called Brian wow he talks so nicely while giving the quote and he will convince and trap the customers making them believe that they are one of the best companiesBut later once your things are about to pick up he will never talk to us again
I dont know if I will get my 120$ which the company estimated as the amount for all the broken and missing thingsBut I want people not to fall prey to these kind of moving companiesPlease take this complaint and help the common people who are unaware of these kind of moving companies

The worse ever experience: they arrive the day after the requested pick up date, it ended up costing me DOUBLE the estimated price (even tough I called them with updated measure and details of the items I was moving), they forgot items in the house so they had to come back; the WORSE was the delivery date: they came days after my requested date, because in the contract which they give you once they have all your stuff in the truck and there is no time to read it, it says there is a to week window for delivery! this is crazy! CUSTOMER SERVICE was terrible, rude, people that do not care about their jobs; actually, there are several subcontracted companies, and there is a total confusion of who you should contact, and all this you only learn it once they already have all your stuffs in the truckWASTE OF MONEY, HUGE STRESS, TERRIBLE SERVICE, ABUSE BILLINGI do not know how they can legally still be in service
