I would steer clear of this company AT ALL COSTS! Not only do they sell you a bill of goods and not follow through, in terms of customer service, it is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. So poor that Melissa just hung up on me when I told her that I was going to post a review online of the nightmare we are currently going through.
From the start, Michael the sales rep, overpromised and poorly estimated the cost (which was double the estimate!) They were 2 days late to pick up the items and it sat in their warehouse for 4 days before it even shipped!
This is where the fun begins. On Friday I get a call from the driver letting me know that we will be receiving the delivery between 12-2 on Saturday. Ok, no problem. With short notice, we hire a local delivery service to pick up the items from the local storage, where the truck is delivering, at 4pm. No problem with time right?
Well, 1pm comes on Saturday and the driver that said he would call 1 hour before delivery had not called. So, I called him. Guess what, he was sitting in Georgia with a broke down truck SINCE 6AM! The guy apparently had no foresight to at least call and let those he promised delivery to that well, HE WAS NOT GOING TO DELIVER. So, I had call and cancel the local delivery service and eat a $99 charge.
Sunday, no contact with the driver. Monday, I had to call him only to be told he is still in Georgia. Of course through all this NO CONTACT FROM EAST COAST MOVING & STORAGE where we have the contract. Tuesday, no contact so I reach out to ECM&S and speak to Melissa.
Just the simple fact that I have to reach out makes my blood boil. To sum up the conversation with Melissa, she basically fed me the "he is broke down and they cannot figure out what is wrong with his truck". We can put a man on the moon and some mechanic can’t figure out what is wrong with a semi truck over a 4 day span! Yea, sure! She adds that after tomorrow if he is not on the road, they will have another driver pick up the load.
Something tells me that MAGICALLY the truck will be on the road tomorrow....bet me! I then voiced my displeasure that I had to eat a $99 fee from a local company and that is when Melissa pulled the contract garbage on me, we have until the 15th to deliver (screw good prompt service) so basically POUND SAND. Once I confirmed that they were standing firm, I voiced my displeasure and would make sure I notated it in my online review. That is when the nails came out! She barked some garbage at me about how well she did and the recorded conversation, blah blah blah, THEN SHE HUNG UP!
Stay classy ECM&S, I sure hope those that read this steer clear of your company. I for one will NEVER use you again!

The clients was told at pick up that he had more cubic feet because of additional items and also that the need to pack the items with wrapping would also add some size to the volume and cost . He was then given the new cost which he agreed and we provided the service as contracted

I am rejecting this response because: Today is 13 March 2017 and I still have not received any contact from them, as of 8 March East Coast Moving stated they would reach out to me in attempt to rectify this situation. This is how this company operates, unprofessional, no integrity and lack of customer service. I have been dealing with this for 8 months now.  Same type of response I got every time I contact them; "your deposit will be refunded and check released by Friday". That's when I was told their financial departments cut the checks.

Base on the experiences I had in the past, I realized that sometimes things can go wrong while making a move. Some stufs can get damage, get ruined and others things can go awry. But, my last move with East Coast Moving taught me different lesson as nothing was damaged or ruined in my move with them. For that reason, I am really grateful for the wonderful and peaceful services rendered to by the professional movers I hired this time. Thank you for your peaceful and professional service

I am really please with the great job done By East Coast they were very attentive and worked but carefully moving our items to our new home. Would definitely use them again.

Regarding the mattress we do apolologize for the delay in shipping it but it has been sent and the stair charges are clearly outlined in writing and the customer was charged accordingly

The move went extremely well from the packing of my chinaware which I cherish to the reassembly and set up of our twins bunk beds/ desk set which is really a huge, complex thing to put together. The movers were friendly and worked very carefully I cannot be more pleased

When I called they give me a quote for 1700 when the movers got to my house he added $600 more to my initially quote okay I paid the different, but after they pick up and left my house I noticed that they left behinds several items at my house. I called the office to report no one answers or return my called, after days I was able to speak with one of the customer rep. They told me they were going to send someone to pick up the items I waited for a couples of days no one called or even pass by the house, I called again and now they saying that the items were not included my bed legs for real. To add up it has been 3 weeks and they haven't deliver my furniture. Everything about this company has been a disaster. This is the first time I write a review but I need to let people know what this company is about.

I had the same amount of items as indicated originally there were no additions and I was told by sales I was a "mini move" the couches were "oversized" they were two love seats

the client was given an original estimate over the phone based on a list of items on the day of the Move he had additional items and packing that needed to be done that resulted in additional cost the client was informed and was given a revised estimate prior to be done which he did agree to my refund is not due and the discount was already given at pick up

I hired these men after finding them online and checking out their credentials and they passed the test by giving a fair price and then performing the move as planned with no headaches or mishaps. Thanks Louis and the gang for making the relocation seamless and thanks Danny for throwing in the free wardrobe boxes and for doing such a stellar job packing my tV it made it safe and sound across six states awesome work

We get the call from EastCost Movers agent and they given the quote for $1350 to move some items from Tomball to Atlanta. After the scheduled date and time they did not reach..
We paid $375 through credit card to the agent. After 2 days late evening they come to our home to pick the items. Truck driver and 3 guys were come to pick the items. they have shown the bill to sign the dispatch form, once we signed the fill the amount which is 2 times higher than the original quote, and they collected $855 as 70% of the total charge. Almost we paid the whole amount as we agreed. They collected the items and told us within 4 days it will be delivered. We do not pay any charge during the delivery. but the bill shows we need to pay $1050 due upon delivery. Since we are moving out of the country. We do not have any option to hold the move out items. I request all consumers, please DO NOT approach this movers. The items were picked on sep. 2, 2016. Till date (sep 21, 2016) it is NOT delivered.. We tried to reach the driver and eastcost dispatch and customer service. no one is picking the call.. we tried all different ways. no hope. Only GOD knows when the items will be delivered. This is the WORST and FRAUD movers.. Please beware of this company.

The client was mailed an invoice more than a week ago and if she has not recieved it we ask she call the office to speak with [redacted] who will resned it our fax it to her.

Records show that the settlement agreement was sent out to the client June of last year and we never received it back therefore the claim was not closed. The client will receive reimbursement through the claims department and we ask that Mrs [redacted] email [email protected] with the correct...

address to send the settlement form so we can resolve this claim.

The client was given a general estimate based on the inventory they stated they were moving. On move day they had additional items resulting in added cost which was told to them prior to us beginning the work. We can only be as accurate with our quotes as our clients are accurate in relaying what they are moving we did provide the client a discounted rate and if they file a claim we will reimburse them for any damages.

We apologize that the client felt the need to file the claim the claim is almost completed and they will receive their settlement check which will be mailed out this Friday

Moving can be a terrifying ordeal however East Coast Moving and storage was not only affordable but the crew was super professional and Patrick who was the foremen made me feel well taken care of and they had zero damages or delays. Great job

The client was given a good faith estimate based on the information they provided however the information was inaccurate and the client had a lot more items to move then described at first. We gave the client a new quote and they declined service and forfeited the deposit as per the contract which...

We apologize that the service failed to meet her expectations we are going to have the claims adjuster reach out to her to resolve the issue promptly. Claims can take up to 9 months  however we will wrap it up promptly to resolve the issue.
