This is the 3rd copy/paste replyI was instructed by the warranty manager Dale over the phone to send photos of the damaged engine to prove to them the engine they sent me was damaged beyond repairNow that they see pictures with the covers off they claim I have voided my warrantyHow am I supposed to show the extremely worn and damaged interior of the motor without pulling valve covers and oil pan coverJust not taking responsibility for there poor product.

As I've explained, in detail, the conditions of my returning the incorrect and faulty enginePlease take the time to read my prior offers to resolve this issueI will not expend any more money to fix or ship this engine! SWEngine is responsible for any and all costs incurred by me for delivering an engine I did not order I ordered a van engine, SWEngine delivered a pickup truck engineIn fact, SWEngine by their own admission, shipped and delivered a pickup truck engine My order clearly show a van engine was ordered and paid for.
It is clear that SWEngine is not going to resolve this issue amicably I have submitted my documentation to my credit card company and they have begun an investigation I will also be seeking resolution through the courts This ends my correspondence through this forumSWEngine will be hearing from my credit card company and my legal representation

Mr*** had purchased an engine from us way back in September 21, for a Oldsmobile AuroraHe had called us on February 10, and admitted he had just installed the engine this weekWe do not know why he disregarded our " must be installed with in days or warranty void" policy
that he had agreed to when he clicked on the " I agree to these terms and conditions" boxAlso he never provided any type of itemized installation invoice to make sure it was properly installed, or even any verification from any shop stating what was wrong with the engineIt actually sounds like Mr*** vehicle has many more problems than just the engine, like he said his power steering went out, an engine has nothing to do with the power steering, we did not sell him any power steering parts, neither did the engine come with them. Also when an engine cuts out or dies while driving could mean it needs alot of other things are wrong with the vehicle, could be a weak fuel pump or an electrical problem, clogged catalytic converters, or even just a simple sensorWe would really like to help Mr***, but if an engine is not installed with in days of receiving it, the warranty is null and void

On Mr*** son had ordered an engine from us for a Chevy Silverado with a duramax dieselHis credit card had declined, Mr*** son had called his bank to raise his spending limit and then called us back later on that dayThen on April 1, Mr*** had placed
another order for the same engine with a different salesmanWe had fortunately caught the duplicate order before it was shipped so we had saved Mr*** hundreds o dollars on freight chargesUnfortunately the banks charge a 7% fee for use of a credit card machine that Mr*** had to pay because he had placed the order twice and that was the only fee for doing that On June 23, he had called us and said the engine was leaking antifreeze and he was sending the engine back for a refundWe did not receive any documentation from any certified garages or anything stating what was wrong with the engineWe got the engine back August 18, and he was refunded in full, if he checked his statement he will see that it was refunded just a few weeks ago in full we had to inspect the engine and make sure his mechanic installed it properly and caused no other damage to the engine

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe business has not made a reasonable offer but has not offered something They realize that the expense of removing the engine and shipping back is almost as costly as the engine itself This also negates the loss of use of the vehicle, replacement of the engine and installation of replacement I had to absorb these costs from the last engine they sold me under fraudelant claims of low mileage
This has had many consequences and expenses related to these claims If they pay for removal, shipping and installation along with a verified low mileage engine the I'm agreeable It would be unfair to me to pay this again based on their misrepresentations

Do not deal with the business Buyer beware !!

We do apologize that Mr*** feels that way, but we keep all notes and record all phone conversations, and what we said in our letter is the actual truthAnd being said water leaking? Coolant is actually considered a 50/antifreeze and water mixture, we could not see anywhere on the engine where it could possibly be leaking from, we actually resold this engine to another customer and he is driving the vehicle right now, he more than likely just had a leaky radiator or a leaky coolant line on his vehicleHe also never provided any type of verification from an A.S.Ecertified shop or pictures

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We read over the emailed response from the company we have an open complaint onAccording to the email, they are willing to send a third engineWe were originally sent a bad engine, they sent a second one, and acted as if we would collect warranty labor pay after the instillation of the second engine and removal of the first one they soldI find myself wondering why an engine supplier would send a second engine if they do not feel that the first one was bad, and that the labor to put it in would not be reimbursedWe are not willing to install engines for free (a value of around 700.00) until they find one that is goodIf I bought a engine, I would expect these type of problemsWhen I buy a 1490.00 engine, and follow the warranty install parts guideline to the o-ring (which is about in new parts including water pump and all seals and fluids which are required for warranty, according to the paperwork that comes with the engine.), I expect that engine to last somewhat close to the guarantee of years or 36,milesThis car has been at my shop, with a customer waiting for months nowI really wish I hadn't done business with this companyI have already lost in parts and in labor, I refuse to lose any more money by swapping engines at will because I was not given what I was promised at time of purchaseWe are willing to remove their second engine, and they can come get both of them after full reimbursement of engine costRegardless of how this turns out, I will never buy anything from this company and will be sure they haven't just changed their name again(Multiple name changes since 2012)

Mr*** had ordered an engine from us on and we had sent him the low mile engine that he had orderedWe have the vin number of the vehicle that it came out of also we have a video of the engine running in the car before we had pulled it out and it does not make any kind of noises
that Mr*** had describedSo out of good faith with out any verification from any shop, we had sent Mr*** a replacement engineUnfortunatly he did not go through the extended warranty activation process to become eligible for a labor claim, and there is nothing we can do for him on the laborHowever on good faith we still sent Mr*** a relacement engine and he has been taken care of

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. It is SW Engine's intent to ignore that "we freed the engine during inspectionwith residual resistance in the rotation"It is SW Engine's intent to ignore the picture evidence of their engines internal standing water corrosion and rust as compared to the same intake valve port of my old engineBuyer Beware!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI did not call you you in the so called days nor did I activate the so call extended warranty because it does not say on your web page that there is day warranty and you need to activate the extended warranty to make it one year The problem is with your web page misleading advertising and using hidden boxes on the web page to get around it Reputable companies do not use these sort of advertising tactics to give them a way out of backing their product when it fails ***

I shouldn't have to pay my mechanic to tell me their engine cannot be usedIf they approved my mechanic to tear the engine apart they should cover that costAgain terrible company, not standing by their productCheating me out of $that they approved my mechanic to doThis is their product that I'm having to pay for to tell them it's crap

Beware of this company Engines purchased are not covered by warranty until they have been driven for miles I had engines DOA and not work I paid over $4,in installation charges and they refuse to cover any of the charges or replace the defective engines They advertise their warranty covers installation and parts but it actually doesn't cover anything if they send you a defective nonworking engine I am filing this after months of fighting with them with no resolve

Unfortunately if she did not have it installed or extended warranty activated with in business days, there is nothing we can doWe have rules and regulations that go along with the warranty, if you can not follow them rules and regulations, you can not get the extended parts and labor
guarantee

I asked for a supervisor so I could get a tracking number and they swore at me and hung up SW Engines IS fraudulent because they never shipped the engine, and now they are spreading lies about the fact I swore at them to cover their mistake. I never called them before that time (which is now a new story) DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! They can't even keep their lies consistent Regards,
