Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This is what they told me as well but the fact remains there,s no where in their paper work does it say anything about a day warranty nor on there web page They told me that when I signed the shipping form it was in there about the extended warranty but I have never signed a shipping form little alone seen one They have one year warranty all over the place and a spot to say about extended warranty but nothing to say you only have a day warranty and the extended warranty if activated is to take it to one yearThey are using mis representation to try to deny the warranty claim , fact remain the transmission from the time it was installed to the time the transmission quit working is way under the one year warranty they claim to have, the activation of their so called extended warranty is just paperwork and a pictureDo they not think I would have done this if I would have known about it , they have gotten their money and don,t care about customer I will follow this up with a phone call in a few days after someone has a chance to read and review this [redacted]

The complainant has been offered by us to replace the faulty lifter and rocker and did not accept our offer All other items are only left on for convenience purposes which is stated in the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty which all customers must agree to when making a purchase and are not covered As clearly stated on line #of the Terms and Conditions: “Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumpsWe do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc.” As far as we are ware from the mechanic’s statement the engine is not unusable as long as these items are replaced We will still gladly replace these parts as previously agreed upon

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am requesting further actionI have repeatedly asked the business to provide me the documentation that they say I did not comply with in order for my warranty to be valid on a $2,motor I purchased from them I truly believe that this business has a practice of failing to disclose to a buyer that there is an additional step you must do in order for your warranty to be validAnd when you challenge them for the proof they will then stop all communications with youI am not going awayIf they continue to stall I will seek legal counsel and hopefully a class action lawsuit can come out of all this I have saw where other people have complained about them on the internet Again, I still wish to be instructed where I am to look on the copies that are in my possession to see where I allegedly fail to provide back to them They may provide me the proof or refund me a portion of my monies Just to make it clear I reject the company's response, talk is cheap, put up the proof Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I would invite them to send the recording as they have completely fabricated a lie They of course will not be able to provide that recording as it never happened or will come up with some sort of excuse As I stated, I called them for a status of the order and had left a message asking for an update on the engine dleivery I am very confident that they never shipped the engine since the person (Bill) I spoke with on my 2nd call (since they never called me back) ask if I wanted to re-order the engine Why would I have canceled and why did they ask if I would like to reorder the engine if I just wanted an update?? Again, and I am very sure, they never held up there end of the agreement and shipped the order in the 1st place even though they were very quick to charge me for the engine that they never providedAlso, unlike them, I can provide all the details on when the engine was ordered (5/8/15) SW engines emailed me indicating delivery would be NLT 5/28/ I called to check on the status of the delivery on 6/1/allowing extra time because of memorial day (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) Why would I call on this date to cancel an order that was promised on 5/28? Again, I can prove this with their email There (so-called) phone log would show that is the date (far past the due date of delivery?) So, for a fact, when the so-called manager (Bill) told me the order was canceled I asked for his supervisor so I could speak with someone else, and that is when Bill told me to [redacted] and hung up on me SW engines has numerous complaints posted all over the internet I wish I would have checked them out before ordering It is my hope that this complaint will prevent others from being ripped offTo make matters worse, now SW engines claims that I swore at them, and that is slander and defamation of character!! What legal course of action can I take in the courts to get justice? Regards, Chuck [redacted]

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Our understanding of the cancellation policy was that the 25% cancellation fee would not apply unless we cancelled the order after it had shippedThe fee is ridiculously excessive considering the fact we cancelled so quickly (hours later, which equated to not even business hours) The order never shipped or was even processedThe fee needs to be waived, especially since your customer service is non existent You won't even return my phone calls and hung up on me so this is the only way I can even communicate with you Waive the fee [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] ***

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me provided I and the driver receive the bill of lading instructions for the driver and I receive information regarding how the engine should be prepared for return shippingHowever as of yet (September 10, 2014), I have received neither items of informationRegards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] had ordered an engine back on January 15, and we sent it to him in a timely mannerHe had called us on March 30, to says that he wanted the engine picked up and refund, for he did not need the engine anymore for some reason he did not discloseWe had then picked up the engine and refunded him on April 10, when we got the engine backHis refund was minus the 25%re-stocking fee and minus freights that it took to get the engine to him, and to bring it back here at $each wayHe also agreed to those terms at the time of purchase

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI made several phone calls in regarding thisI was hung up on, I was told I was a liar, and numerous other thingsI have up I admitYou people are seriously rediculous to think you can get by with thisI paid cash of my debit cardBig mistakeThat motor was out in by a professional as the attorney governor of WI has evidence now ofIt leaked within a few monthsWe didn't realize it Can you tell me with all these complaints, what your going to do about my situation or others? Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] The Invoice Number is [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

As the customer has stated in the complaint, the engine was ordered on 6-9- The customer did not install until October therefore voiding the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty which clearly states: "Warranty must be activated within business days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDEDFalsifying information will automatically void your warranty." This can be viewed by visiting http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php The Terms and Conditions must be agreed upon before ordering and are clearly stated on the site as well as during the purchase process We cannot possibly know what condition the engine was stored in for more than months and this is why we have this conditions as any engine improperly stored for a short amount of time can be damaged from the elements or mishandling Furthermore, the customer called in on 10-22-and Activated the warranty on 11/and proceeded to attempt to make a claim the same day Unfortunately, the customer did not read or understand the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty when attempting to do so We encourage all potential buyers to read and understand the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty before making a purchase

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was in contact qiththe SW TransmissioCompany August to inquire on a message I received by the company who sent the transmission to me [redacted] from the shop in Fresno CAStated that he was in contact with SW Transmission and informed Niel that the transmission disnt have the torque converter to the transmission that was being sentAccording to this individual NielHe stated to send it anyway [redacted] immediately contacted me to inform me that the transmission was not complete In additionI was charged for a complete transmission that included thetorque converterThis piece alone is and the transmission is pointless without it I specified this to [redacted] in the Warranty deprtment of SW Transmissions and he stated it was send out the way it was sentI informed my after weeks of hassle and wrong parts I would like my money backHis words were not until they receive the transmission back WHICH by the way was suppose to be here today August according the the tracking number This has now left me another day of no work waiting this delivery FYI on the response to the Business owner comment; NO not all 2001-2005transmissions are the sameThere are different market transmissions 1- US Market 2- CANADA Market Two completely different sensor fitting and line ups for bolts Thank you [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe long and short of the story is this: SWEngines sold me an engine that, they claim, was in working condition when it left their facility When it arrived at my mechanic, it was not in working condition Who's at fault or why it happened is really inconsequential: I did not get what I paid for, end of story I paid for something that wasn't broken and I got something that was broken If I ordered a DVD from Amazon.com and it arrived at my house smashed to pieces, I would return it and get a refund or a replacement That would be me paying for something that works and receiving something that doesn't work It's the same principle-- I did not get what I paid for Additionally, my mechanic, as well as the truck driver who delivered the engine, confirmed that the engine was not properly fastened to the pallet in the truck, and was subject to the laws of gravity over the course of it's 1,mile trip Basically, it fell over and was broken in the process As an aside, in regards to the shipping carrier, when I asked SWEngines who the carrier was, they claimed they didn't know, so I was unable to contact anyone Regards, [redacted] ***

Mr [redacted] had ordered an engine from us on November 19, and it was sent out to him in a timely manner. He had called us on December 15,to complain that the intake manifold was crackedWe unfortunately do not sell intake manifolds, they are just left on for convenience purposesWe only sell engines, and the definition of an engine is a block, head and internal parts. The intake manifold however is bolted on to the top of the engine and is not covered under warrantyWhat good mechanics normally do is switch over all the original bolt on items from the old engine on to the new engineThat is how you do the engine installation job properly and you will never have problems doing it that way

If that is what Mr [redacted] wants to do, we can talk to the person he has been emailing back and forth, and then we will make arrangements

Per terms and conditions you agreed to there is a 25% for all cancelled orders

I purchased a $used engine (51k miles) with a year/36k mile warranty After less than miles, additional service/repairs to this engine have already exceeded an additional $The "Warranty Department" and Alex [redacted] at Engine Shopper has given me the run`around in addition to numerous unprofessional email communications and will not honor any part of the warrantyI truly wish I would have done additional research prior to purchasing from this online trap
