For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe transmission was purchased with a year parts and labor warranty evidence of which was provided previouslyAside from originally sending the wrong transmission in the first place and then convincing the installer that it was an adequate substitute without my consent, the intalled transmission failed within days of the install and well within the warranty periodThere was no warranty information provided to the installer by SW Transmissions as indicated on the installers invoiceThe only method SW provided to initiate the warranty was through a web portal which was not accessible to me thus facilitating a call directly to SW Transmission by me to report the problemSW said they would investigate and followed up with me as to what they needed from the installer to make a claim on the warrantyThe information was sent and the correct transmission was sent (without prior notification that it was going to be sent) to the installer within a few weeks of the first failureAfter the second install, I was presented another bill for $for the second install laborI informed the installer that the labor was covered under the warranty and he stated that SW refused to payI inquired with SW as to why and they stated that I did not activate the warranty by using their on line methodI told them that that link did not work for me and that that's why I called to iniate the warranty processThey obviously felt that was sufficient at the time as they did send the replacement transmission without any problem and they said thatthey waived the shipping fee and that should satisfy the situationI disagree, there would have been no need to ship a second transmission had they shipped the correct one in the first place so to say they did me a favor by not charging me for that is simply wrongAs far as the warranty registration, to only have one way to register the warrantyand that being through the internet, an unreliable technology that all purchasers do not have access to is not only bad business but probably illegalI verbally registered the warranty with *** *** in the warranty department when the issue came up and it was within the warranty period

We usually recommend that the customer replace with the parts from the old engine Our CSR explained this during their conversation BMW has plastic valve covers and we remove if any damage is present The Oil Pan was most likely replaced due to the fact they have different drive
mechanisms such as wheel drive versus wheel drive Additionally, none of the parts the complainant is seeking restitution for is covered under the Terms and Conditions agreed to when ordering: Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumpsWe do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc
Therefore, we cannot assist in this matter any further

Mrs*** had placed an order for an engine on January 20, for a Nissan Maxima, and it was shipped to her in a timely mannerWe have no phone calls, no recorded phone conversations or emails from her trying to cancel this orderIf she does not want this engine, she would need to
refuse it and will be charged for freights and a 25% handling and restocking fee per terms and conditions form that she had agreed to at the time of sale

Twelve days later when I call I was told SWEngins was
still looking for an engine for our Volvo.my repair shop here had found an engine
I asked SW Engins to cancel my order and refund my $965.00
two days later I was refunded $723.75
im still owed $241.25
I NEVER received the engine and WAS told
SW Engines was looking for one AFTER being told when I place the order it was in stock
I don't expect to recover my money as I have called a number of times and each time I'm transfured to customer refund I leave amessag and no one called back
im sure everyone at SW Engine gets a good laughter when I and others call in asking for a refundThsnk You

This matter has not been resolved I have not received a refund from any one please ask them how was it refunded it is not in my bank account nor have I received a check in any formI check my account daily more than twice a dayI HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY THING FROM THIS COMPANY

We know Mr*** had ordered the wrong part and an argument had escalated while we were trying to straighten it out with him, we do apologize for that, and also we accept Mr*** apology to us

First of all it was not you that gave us our money back....Our credit card company found that you are CROOKS and they credited OUR account.....YOU did not give me anything!!!!!!! The engine you say you gave us is WORTHLESS!!!! It is JUNK.......I had mechanics look at the engine and each one told me the same thing "It is not worth installingYou let me keep this WORTHLESS ENGINE because YOU did not want to pay for freight....because you also know that it is WORTHLESS!!!!!! If you do not believe me look on SouthWest Engine reviews or RIPOFF.com or Revdex.com and you will see that you have taken advantage of many people like myself. If the engine is in good working order come and get it, pay for the freight for this WORTHLESS engine.....but YOU are notI will not stop until YOU are out of business and I am not the only one that feels this way....There are many people fighting for their money back and I have heard from many of them You ask what do I want now.......funny you should ask that question, you were never interested in talking to me beforeI was hung up on and cursed out by your companyI want satisfaction for the other unfortunate people that paid with checks or debit cards or other means that did not get their money back like myselfI will not stop at this point, I will continue until the Attorney General shuts SouthWest Engines, Engine transmissionWorld and all your other names that you use to rip people off.
I have also contacted the media here in Louisiana and Wisconsin and I am scheduled to go on television with Revdex.com here in Louisiana within a few weeks to tell of my experience with this scam of a company that you operateI invited your attorney Mr*** *** as well as *** that said he is the manager of the company to join me on national television but they have both declinedI wonder why......If you run a reputable company why wouldn't you want to back it upWHY??????????????????

valve covers and and timing covers are bolt on items and are not under warranty or part of an engine assembly that we sell
surface rust on the cams are if the engine has been sitting up for a while
this engine was tested and under warranty

The engine warranty covers block, heads, and all internalsBoaccessories,
wiring and sensors are not warranted
We are not responsible for improper installation and or labor charges
Warranty will void if the part is used for racing, operated without proper fluids, or a melted heat tab
New thermostat and timing belt (if applicable) must be installed
All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs
In the event that the buyer defaults in the terms of payment, the buyer agrees to reimburse SWE for all costs and attorney fees it incurs in collection action
Mis-ordered or mis- diagnosed parts are non-refundable

Screen shots of the real registration proof (see file) - if you read the actual screen shots on 03/19/you will see the real registration SW Transmissions - the writing on the top is just showing the real screen shots and does not change the proof submittedThe 07/07/was not a registrationI just wanted to see is their system really worked - I did not fill in the form in July - only submitted the first page with my current mileage - The attachment on March 23, was sent because I never got any confirmation on the 03/19/Read the proof - they are lying and avoiding the truthRead the proof - not SW lies to avoid the warrantyThe transmission was delivered on the 03/10/and installed by 03/18/and registered by 03/19/Read the proofThey are running a scam and I am the victimA complaint is also filed with the Missouri Attorney General Office for the same fraud on the warrantyRead the Reg Proof file and you will see

In this case the customer decided to opt with replacing the Oil Pump per the advise of his mechanic instead of repairing the cam bearings Per the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty, "We provide a one-time warranty claim service for our products. You may only file a single
warranty claim on any product you purchase from us, without the possibility of filing any future claims on the same product." Unfortunately, this customer was ill-advised by his mechanic and no longer has an active warranty

We had offered to switch transmissions for Mrs***, but with all of her screaming and foul mouth and calling us names we do not like to be degraded and treated like an animal, so we had to end the phone calls from her several timesShe now has disputed her charge and has all of her money
back, also has of our transmissions
