Thank you for contacting us regarding the accounts opened at Experian Credit TrackerSMExperian Credit TrackerSM does offer a $1.00(dollar) 7-day trial membership in a monthly credit monitoring product. Our website describes the offer in detail and the Order
Form. Details, along with the terms and conditions of the offer, include billing at the end of the $1(dollar) trial and monthly thereafter unless and until the customer notifies us of their wish to cancel. This was agreed to when submitting the order. Our records indicate that you and *** *** enrolled with Experian Credit TrackerSM on March 28, The memberships were not cancelled within the $1.00(dollar) 7-day trial period. Consequently, in accordance with the published terms of our offer, the credit card provided was charged our monthly membership fee of $on April 4, 2015, for each of their accountsOn April 28, 2015, we received notification from you to cancel the memberships. As a courtesy, we have issued a refund of the monthly membership fees of $43.90. Please allow - 5 business days for these funds to process to your credit card account. monitoring services and internet access to their personal credit reports
Our records indicate that you enrolled with Experian Credit TrackerSM on February 5, 2015, and followed by a request to cancel the membership on February 8, A welcome email notification was sent to the email address you provided at the time of enrollment
Our records also indicate that a $(dollar) 3-Bureau Report with credit scores along with a trial membership in *** was ordered on February 27, utilizing a MasterCard with the last four digits ***Since the complimentary trial membership was not cancelled in accordance with the published terms of our offer, the card provided was charged our monthly membership fee on March 8,
Additionally, our records show that you contacted *** by phone on March 10, 2015, and stated that you are the holder of the MasterCard, did not open the account in question and believed that the order was fraudulently placed with us by a third party utilizing your MasterCardIn response, *** cancelled the membership

I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I would also like to remind you that your annual renewal email was surely bouncing back since the email account had been closed in 2012. When you receive a returned email, is it not obvious that your customer is not able to "voluntarily" accept or decline the renewal, so the renewal should not be made? Also, the credit card information I provided was no longer valid, so I am not sure how you were able to charge to it.I will definitely steer my friends and co-workers away from subscribing to anything connected to experian. I believe auto renewal should be federally regulated, if it is not already or simply made illegal

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.When I called Experian the customer service representative was able to locate my account without any issuesI don't particularly feel comfortable providing bank statements etc to prove a charge that the customer service department could clearly find and confirm without any issuesI don't believe that you are having problems locating her accountIf so her user name is ***, and her name is *** *** If you need any additional information, like a reference number etc that was provided by your representative and supervisor I will locate thatBut I ask you track the account down and resolve the issue as requested in my initial complaint.
