Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is a standard reply that I normally get when I dispute American Financial on my credit report with Experian.  They always are 'currently investigating the disputed information with which the consumer disputes...' then they will come back as 'verified'. I then ask them to show me how they verified this information and they say they don't have to provide that info. Funny thing is that I contacted American Financial on June 26th CMRR, and received no response. That's almost 90 days ago.  I also think there are a few violations here. If this account isn't removed promptly, I will have to file suit.
Regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Hello,I just had a complaint closed 2 days ago due to my failure to respond in a timely manner. I would like to respectfully ask if you can re-open this case, because I only now had an opportunity to review Experian’s response dated 12/5/16.  I would like to state that I strongly disagree with Experian’s response, because their rebuttal is nothing more than an attempt to make me look like I am the one who failed to properly communicate my dispute. In fact, their response is typical and is only another of the many redundant almost automated responses that I have received by Experian every time that I contact them.  The fact is that not only did I state which accounts I was disputing in my communication of November 3rd, but I also provided the name of each creditor, the account number and the reason why I was disputing them. Furthermore, I also provided documentation corroborating the fact that I was a victim of identity theft in order in order to further substantiate the basis of my dispute. Finally, aside from providing them my social security number to identify myself I also provided them a copy of my state issued DL, which is a notarized government issued ID. Therefore, based on these facts I demand that Experian processes my original dispute at once. After my identity was stolen I have dealt with all three of the major credit bureaus to the point where I simply give up and leave this matter alone for many months at a time out of frustration due to their lack of cooperation. However, Experian is by far the least accessible by any means, the most difficult one to communicate with and the one that is almost impossible to persuade to get them to do anything. Regards,  [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. This is the most generic response I have ever seen in my life and shows that experian has no interest in reporting or correcting incorrect information. They literally said we use a 3rd party vendor to confirm information that is sealed? How do I know this because I called the court to try to get the information and they said it was and would not release it to me because it is not my bankruptcy. I have tried for almost 7 years to clear this mess that my ex-wife caused. We were married at the time and she filed bankruptcy and because I was married it listed my name. That is why it was dismissed because she filed it wrongly. She destroyed my credit and I am struggling to fix this and this wrong information is defaming me greatly. Places that do an automatic check Will deny me credit because it shows two bankruptcy. When I only have one chapter 7 in 2013. I love the way they say the law allows them to verify information with any so called third party vendor regardless if it's correct but they skip over the part that talks about posting dismissed bankruptcy. Why because the law doesn't address dismissed bankruptcy cases. Only discharged ones. You would think experian would do the right thing for not only correctness but also for good customer service. An everyday person is powerless to fix incorrect information when a company relies on false data to report and then says oh well we verified it with a vendor? Not the court! Not the creditor! But some hack company that is making money ruining people's lives. Why won't this company do the right thing. This false information has been on my credit for 6 years already....
