Experian Reviews (6917)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The "canned" response from Experian and the issuance of a credit report that I already have are not fixing the problems I addressed. Removal of disputed inaccurate data regarding my various names, addresses and employment, also the negative accounts that I marked "not mine" would be a start. Secondly, to make the interface navigable to the average person so as they could be able to dispute the erroneous data on their reports. As I said, [redacted] and [redacted] both were quite easy to navigate and file a dispute. Why is my report with Experian so flawed as compared to theirs. Please update my report with accurate information about me and my accounts.
Regards,
[redacted]

mentioned consumer's Experian credit report. Our records indicate that we have not previously received this complaint from the Revdex.com.Our records indicate that we previously investigated the disputed bankruptcy with which the consumer disagrees. Our vender verified the information as accurately reported. Results of the investigation were provided to the consumer at the conclusion of each investigation. If a bankruptcy was dismissed or withdrawn, it appears on your client's personal credit report because every action that relates to credit may become part of the credit history. So even though the court did not allow the filing of the bankruptcy or the bankruptcy did not go through, the fact that the case was documented allows it to appear on the personal credit report.According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Section 605 (d) (1), if a bankruptcy is withdrawn before a final judgment "the consumer reporting agency shall include in the report that such case was Withdrawn".The bankruptcy dismissed/withdrawn status will remain on the consumer's Experian credit report for seven years from the filing date.Thank you for allowing me to assist you. Please contact our office if you have any questions.Sincerely,[redacted]

The identity theft report should include as many of the following elements as possible: specific dates such as when the loss or theft of personal information occurred or when the fraud(s) occurred, how you discovered or learned of the theft, any known information about the perpetrator, the names of creditors and account numbers involved in the theft, name and/or badge number of the law enforcement personnel who processed the report, the filing date and case number. You may find the following suggestions helpful:Protect Yourself First, make sure an Initial Security Alert or Extended Fraud Victim Alert is on file with all nationwide Consumer Credit reporting agencies. If you request an alert with us, we will share your request with the other nationwide Consumer Credit reporting agencies, Equifax and TransUnion.inform the Sources Contact each source of information, including Creditors and public record offices, and inform them that the acCount is fraudulent.Document all Contacts Make notes of everyone you spoke with, ask for names, department names, phone extensions, record the date you spoke to them.Understand the Process Each creditor may have a different process for handling a fraud claim. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First of all, I pay 9.99 dollars a month for this product, sometimes alot more, and EXPERIAN decides that my challenges are not legitimate and only EXPERIAN will decide when to investigate my claim. I DECIDE what will be investigated by Experian, not experian. I have reported Experian to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in this matter. I am a victim of fraud by [redacted] and I am a veteran unable to place a roof over my head because of what Experian places in my report. IN addition Experian REFUSES as I asked to state that I am a victim of Fraud and that the case is in litigation (in other words, Experian refuses to use certain words). I will SUE experian if they do not dispute an ITEM, as I am a paying customer especially. This is NOT my FREE annual credit report. I PAY experian for this and they still give me slack over my requests to dispute items. Equifax, on the other hand, disputes items whenever I want. In addition, I asked the VA to remove an item and properly report that I made ALL payments ON TIME, and not a complete chargeoff as the VA states on my report. EXperian needs to understand that I can be FIRED from my job because of information on my credit report, and them refusing to investigate is grounds for litigation and complaints. Also, I am constantly bounced around their call centers all over the country with extremely long hold times. From their unit in California claims they are not responsible for the dispute department, and only for the credit monitoring feature. it took me an HOUR to reach a dispute representative whom was rude and confrontational. I am cancelling my membership with Experian, and if they do not Investigate [redacted] and other matters as I ASK, as the situation is dynamic and constantly changing, I WILL file a lawsuit against Experian in this matter. The [redacted] case is now before Maryland attorney general and the federal [redacted] for fraud (I am the plantiff). Legally, I will not legally Experian to operate in this manner, and not be able to place a roof over my head as a veteran.
