Quicken loans made the whole loan process easy
The only negative was they sent my pay off checks to the house instead of the PO box and I found the checks tied to my gate That could of been a nightmare if someone would of taken them

All the associates I dealt with were professional and friendly They got back quickly with any questions I had A lot of paperwork was required, but, everything went pretty smoothly The closing costs seemed on the high side but we were happy we were approved having self employed income
The QL loan process is, perhaps, the most painless process in existence They quote is quick, the forms are simple, the online submittal easy I recommend QL to my friends
Wonderful experience! I am in my sixties and have purchased homes and refinanced many times This was by far the best experience I have had I was hesitant because it was all done via the internet and mail I was assigned a team of experts in the process and could access them anytime I didn't have to because they checked in with me often I used the Quicken Loans app which listed all paperwork and progress every step of the way It was great to be able to access loan documents anytime I wanted They arranged for a notary to come to my home A few days before the notary arrived I received a package of documents, one for me and one for the notary
My documents were in a tabbed folder, each tab listing the document contents
Oh, and I got a terrific rate as well Was able to lock it in, and when the appraiser couldn't get it done in time, they extended it at no charge
Exceptional service and exceeded my expectations They would be my first call if I needed another loan

While my husband and I are W-employees, my husband's place of work is part of a larger corporation It took forever for Quicken to accomplish something as simple as confirming his employment The name of the corporation has to match a website In this case, my husband is the GM at a bar with a proper name, social media pages, etc., however what is on his W-2's isn't the name of the bar; it's a DBAFor the life of them, they couldn't handle it I gave them the head accountant's contact information and they said that wasn't good enough; couldn't they speak with the owner? Trying to speak to the owner of this corporation is equal to trying to get Brad Pitt on the phone! The head accountant knows all the finances of all of the businesses, she is probably the only one that knew his hire date twelve years ago and also knows his pay raise history This was extremely frustrating that they couldn't think outside the box for a moment in order to accomplish something I feel is rather easy
There were a few other items that took longer than they should have due to Quicken not having the ability to think a little outside the box in order to get something done and hence, our rate went up slightly
I feel they are work order fillers and you would do better with a broker
All Quicken/Rocket Mortgage staff that I encountered were polite, informative, and professional The entire refinance process was organized and effortless
Very good and quick service QL is in touch with the customer all the way by phone, e- mail , fax and mailThey serve you anyway you want, that is what I like about them
