From my initial phone call to closing, the experience was so exceptional I felt something was wrong but all we got was the best of everything I can't say enough good things about the people at Quicken who do their jobs and know what they are doing I'm very happy I made that phone call
I went with Quicken due to a referral from a friend
While my husband and I are W-employees, my husband's place of work is part of a larger corporation It took forever for Quicken to accomplish something as simple as confirming his employment The name of the corporation has to match a website In this case, my husband is the GM at a bar with a proper name, social media pages, etc., however what is on his W-2's isn't the name of the bar; it's a DBAFor the life of them, they couldn't handle it I gave them the head accountant's contact information and they said that wasn't good enough; couldn't they speak with the owner? Trying to speak to the owner of this corporation is equal to trying to get Brad Pitt on the phone! The head accountant knows all the finances of all of the businesses, she is probably the only one that knew his hire date twelve years ago and also knows his pay raise history This was extremely frustrating that they couldn't think outside the box for a moment in order to accomplish something I feel is rather easy
There were a few other items that took longer than they should have due to Quicken not having the ability to think a little outside the box in order to get something done and hence, our rate went up slightly
I feel they are work order fillers and you would do better with a broker
I had a wonderful experience with Quicken Loans I re-financed my home and it went quickly and smoothly I think that so long as you have everything in order, you will have the same experience as myself People complain about the $good faith deposit they have to put down As long as you are made aware that you get that money back at the end You shouldn't worry about that I started my loan process after someone else that was refinancing and I finished in a month and they are still working on theirs (they used a local company) Everyone I spoke with was professional and pleasant to work with I would recommend others anytime I didn't have to leave the house or mail/fax anything

I would not recommend Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage to anyoneThey will take advantage of the consumer and charge high rates and pointsTheir Service through the refinance was not goodThey changed my loan officer mid way and new loan officer had no idea who I was when I called with questions...New loan officer was very rude...Charged high points and rates and told me that that was the best rate , screwed up the closing docs which held up the closing/funding and didn’t even provide a copy of closing docs at closing as wellBeware!!!
I wanted to refinance my home so I tried Quicken LoansIt was a waste of time and moneyLoan officer and the Redisclosure Package showed that I would get $at closingThen I get a phone call after I pay $that I will have to have $at closing because the house appraisal was lowThe appraisal they had done was 30% lower than the one done years earlier
This company refinanced my house in under daysMy representative answered all my questionsHe was very helpful and followed through on everything and would call to check on meI would definately recommend this company
while researching mortgage loans I received a call from Quicken, I told them I am not applying at this time and they insisted on running a background check for my loan and to see what I could afford again I told them I don't want a check doneI thought that was it but I just got a letter explaining why I was refused a loan from them so now I have a credit check for a loan I didn't apply for
Nice automated, electronic tools for submitting information Thought the types of, and level of detail of the information required seemed to be overkill But might be a regulatory requirement
My husband and I found the people that were working on our loan to be very professional and informative throughout the whole process My husband was the main contact person with them & he says that they were great
