days after QUICKEN LOANS received my insloss claim package containing 100% of the doc's requested I have no money with with to pay my contractors
March till April and counting my MORTGAGE COMPANy is the reason my roof can't be repairedALL info requested was sent, they require doc's not originally requested, they send ck's with wrong names they send cks without my name just slow roll and drag their feetNot once has QUICKEN LOANS contacted me to request doc's discuss my claim.not a call, text, email NOTHING
QUICKEN LOANS sits there earning interest on my insclaim while my roof needs repairthey are SHAMELESS
First off, I just want to say, I am educated, intelligent, have excellent credit and 90k in school loans
I have been dealing with quicken loans for many long months, at least now, and they had me and my family of jumping through rings of fire to get a deal "almost" done, at a 275k pre-approval letter in the Boston area(getting my family's hopes up)
School loans and FHA do not work trust me
Once Iris from quicken loans realized what a school loan is, she said that FHA changed the rules and my total debt of school loans = 1% in my debt to income ratio(90k = $per month) months after they "preapproved" my loan(many houses looked at and walked through)
In the end, Iris told me that she could get me 70k to buy a home because FHA changed the rules and she was not "aware of it" until now Iris told me many times to fight with Fedloan to get the payment down and I did...Right were it needed to be, then she dropped my loan completely saying she could only get me 70k towards a home, as an adult, I did not swear or cuss and told her I could easily buy a car for that amount with 1% of the hassle she put me through
Do I recommend this company? No
Do I think this company is honest? No
Do I think they will actually help other people? Yes, if that person has patience, excellent credit and no common sense to go to another lender that actually gives a damn about their clients
Immediately after I got off the phone with Iris at quicken loans another lender I have been dealing with gave me everything I needed with 0% hassle
Talk to your nearest credit union, it will save you time, aggravation andoh yeah...MONEY!

Getting a mortgage is never an entirely easy experience, is it? That said, QL did an awful good job Perfect? No But it was as easy as such an onerous transaction can be, I think Not sure it was the cheapest option either, but as an investment mortgage, I did not have a lot of choices

I called to make a payment for July (August was also due bc I was behind) and would pay August in a few days The csr (said his name was Julian) asked me if I was living in the house and if it was being maintained? What? I just asked to make a payment so why are you asking me off and weird questions about my house? What does that have to do with me wanting to make a payment? I usually pay by checking account but decided to pay by Western Union this time but needed a code to go with the payment and he said Western Union was not an option for me since I owe months? Its 8/and Western Union is same day He refused to take my checking account payment unless I included August I spoke to his supervisor (Angela, she said) and she was more rude and aggressive and also refused the payment and asked why I am only paying July and if I had the money then I should just pay both months when I just said I would pay in a few days She also asked me if I planned on selling the house??? I did not entertain anymore invasive questions and asked to speak to her supervisor which she refused She said I had to answer financial questions for minutes about my income and debt for an analysis to see if they could set up a payment plan I never asked for a payment plan all I wanted to do was pay a month I hung up and used the automated system to pay July and it took the payment What a joke, worst customer service I have ever encountered period Why all the personal questions? Why not take a mortgage payment? Seems like they want you to get more behind so they can try and foreclose the property Why else would a mortgage company not want your payment?
