I think there rates were high compared to other lenders..but had already gone so far in the process..went ahead and closed..Their contact folks were annoying..calling multiple times a day just "checking in" Went through "rocket mortgage" whose add stated point,clickapproval..WRONG...no different than any other mortgage approval process..same documentation required, etc
This was my 2nd experience with Quicken, and both times were extremely pleasant, and were both done without any delays The employees at every level of the process were very friendly, respectful, and helpful I would highly recommend Quicken Loans to my friends and family
They stole $from me for a fraudulent appraisalIt was rushed out while I was still working with the seller on serious issues with the houseThe fake appraisal said the house had a newer roof and no issuesThe people at Quicken never know what is going on with each otherThey are completely cluelessThere is no accountability, you have to talk to different people and get different answersStay away if you don't want to get scammed
I almost hung up on a Quicken associate, but Jon said something that made me try one more timeI could not believe that a refinance could be done so quickly and efficiently on lineIt took less than a month to close my loanI paid off my second mortgage and another loan and saved $a month in paymentsI can now have my mortgage payments to Quicken through automatic deductions from my bank on the first of every month My life has changed by giving Quicken a chance to help me
While claiming that they offer a rocket mortgage it is anything butThey ordered an appraisal without due diligence on the appraiserHe is know throughout the community for appraising below valueHe missed counting three rooms including one of the bedrooms and came in $10k below selling priceWhen I asked Quicken to review this they actually told me that their collateral department would order a second appraisal, but not to verify the selling price, but rather to take the lower value of the twoThat appraisal couldn't be scheduled until days after close and they actually said it may go to the same appraiser
How would it make sense to address my complaint, as a buyer, that the appraisal was way off through this process? Needless to say I went with a local lender who knows the local appraisers and got me an appointment the following week with a competent appraiser
Also it is a shady practice to pre-qualify borrowers then after they find the home they reveal APR and pointsShop around first, they do not value customers with great credit and low debt/income enough to close a loan, hate to see how they treat customers with 600-range credit scoresI will never recommend them to anyone after my recent interactionI was handed off to a total of four different people with one set telling me I would close on time and another telling me it would be days later and I would have to cough up the $10k appraisal offset at closeTruly an unforgettable interaction
I had an absolutely terrible experience with my loan process I was misled from the beginning The worst thing I did was give remote access and e-signed papers that were not completely filled outUn named led me through the process and scrolled me to a point where all that was required was a signatureIt was my fault for believing what she said.and signing blank pagesOh they supposedly put a $250,over charge back on my credit card but it is yet to appear.Just be aware
I worked specifically with Eric Donaldson and Steffannee York, and both were professional, courteous, hard working, and exceeded any expectation I hadExcellent team of people absolutely committed to helping me purchase my home
I have had an exceptional experience with Quicken LoansI was hospital durning the process of completing the loanAs a result I was unable to get some of the in-formation needed to continue with the loan processThe people were very understanding which appreciated very muchThey were able to lower the interest rate lowering my payments which I appreciated
