I have to give a five star rating because of my schedule and the timing that I needed to complete everything that quicken loans needed I was treated extremely well and they had answered all of my questions there was no pressure other than for me to watch the rates because they change very quickly there was three other loans company wanting my business and I inform everyone that I know that this was so painless that they would not believe it
We recently refinanced our home via Quicken Loans We were very pleased with the speed of service , and the available help Our adviser assisted us by answering any and every question we had; he gave us his cell phone number, if we had a question not on business hours Due to this, we were able to pay off our credit cards at 18% interest, compared to 4.9%

We chose quicken loans to refinanceIt all started around the 20th of march, it all sounded nice and dandy in the first couple weeks until they kept asking for the same documents more than once, proof of this and that more than once and were very picky of the detailsThey made us renovate our house and we did, they kept raising the monthly quotes after it says its been locked, they kept pushing the closing date further and further and further backIts now the 3rd week of june and still no closing date and we are going to pay more than they said we would and the closing costs are raising higher and higher every weekHow is this fair to us? I would like to understand, how does this benefit us? I just cannot wait til this "closing date" comes but trust me we are a nervous wreck over thisI just feel terrible my family gping through this agony

What a task to go through getting a loanThe process like any loan was exhaustingBeyond the information Quicken accumulated and the many pages of faxes to them, the overall ordeal was goodYou must have patience and not get too frustrated & you'll be fineWhenever you have to get bank statements go to the bank in person to have them print them outThe online prints lack informationI'd give Quicken an overall rating of B++at the end they could have been faster to give an appraisal but other then that, James Debartolo was excellentAlso Diant'e Hubbard was greatBoth get high scoresThanks Quicken, I'll be back

Loan officer withheld information, and the senior researcher there backed him up for doing soIt's their company policy to just get you to apply Once I did, and started coming up against problems, the loan officer, who had been calling me 2+ times a day prior to me signing - stopped returning all calls!
My experience was a three month long ordealInstead of having one person to handle the loan, there were several people involvedI never knew who I would get when I called
They had all of my income information, yet "forgot" to consider a big chunk of it until I got very angry and told them about it
At the closing I noticed that they were adding property taxes into my mortgage payment when I am exempt from them due to my income levelThey also didn't handle the escrow account properly; they did not figure my wind, hail or hurricane coverage in itIt's going to take awhile to get it all worked outNot a happy camper!
