I am most disappointed with Quicken loans for refinancing My credit report was pulled twice in a day time span without my permission to only be told later that it would not be in my best interest to refinance to a year loan They didn’t even have my social # but I received two notifications of hard pulls of credit report and loss of points
Overall this was a fairly smooth process I liked having my own personal webpage to upload required documents, see what was needed and communication with the associates Everyone was very quick to respond to questions I posted online The entire process took weeks from start to finish (refinancing my home loan) with the last two weeks being waiting for closing date to sign the papers and paying off the old loan
The first individual I dealt with did have a vague salesman quality about him that I could see would be a little unsettling for some Not the same as walking into a bank and having a discussion about lending optionsSlightly more high pressure
All documents are online so you can read and re-read at leisure I would recommend going an and looking daily since documents did update periodically and changed things like closing fees and what I would either owe or get back at closing

We wanted to re-negotiate our mortgage to take advantage of lower interest rates After our current mortgage holder was uncooperative we turned to Quicken Loans The were energetic and positive throughout the entire process Quicken facilitated a VA loan which was available because of my husband's military service Our fixed rate is now 3.25% down from a previous rate of 5.65% Quicken's representatives were extremely friendly and helpful They have extended hours that made the process much easier The lawyer came to our house to do the final closing Great work Quicken!

I originally started out with a refinance , pre qualified everything was looking good for a couple months then all of a sudden we had a problem with the original loan application I was frustrated as this should have been caught earlier in the refinance We had already been in the refinance for a couple months and had to start over But Morgon Castro and her team came through with flying colors and we where able to get the loan through within a reasonable time I am happy with the final outcome and would happily recommend Quicken Loans again
Overall, my experience was positive We experienced some issues at the closing as Quicken Loans had incorrectly drawn up some of the closing documents which had to be redrafted by Quicken Loans and transmitted to the title company before we could finish our settlement With the exception of the time lost waiting on the documents to be redrafted and transmitted, the issue was resolved satisfactorily
I got a call from a representative during that call I was not informed that Quicken Loans was using the information provided to apply for a loan/mortgage on my behalf or to perform a hard pull on my creditQuicken Loans did both The representative simply said he could give me information I was looking for had I been advised of what he was doing to get it I would have said I was not interestedAt not point did I consent to applying for a mortgage or having a hard pull performed on my creditThe representative did bothRegardless of whether it had a small or large impact on my overall score it was not Quicken Loans decision to make on my behalfThe Revdex.com says they can do nothing more to help me because sharing your social implies consent to everything that goes on after the fact
