My experience was very good Easy to follow the steps and if I ever had questions along the way Cory Bwas more than happy to assist As a first time home buyer I would highly recommend The realtor and title agent also let me know that they love working with Quicken Loans, and that they were on top of things
I found my experience to quite relaxing, everything flowed well and all the info was just a click away I'm a truck driver and found it easy to submit or read infoThe associates were not over baring, calm and friendly
I first contacted Quicken on a whim, not at all sure they would be able to work with me on my re-finance needsHowever, the representative, Derek Kinney, was a wealth of information and good suggestionsHe answered every question I had, presented the three best options, and helped with my culling process
The business they used for the appraisal was fast, efficient, professional, and accurate
The loan closed in under four weeks
As everything turned out, I got a lower interest rate, a lower monthly payment, and a nice check
I would DEFINITELY recommend Quicken Loans for a re-financeSpecifically, if you can get Derek Kinney as your contact, do it
I applied for a USDA Rural Development Loan from Quicken Loans directly, I and my wife did everything we could to provide any and all documentation to backup our application and once it got to underwriting, it seemed like no one cared and without a detailed explanation or ability to correct what was wrong was told our USloan application was denied and then was bluntly told no other bank would approve us for a USDA RD mortgage, but was told however we would qualify for a standard conventional year term mortgage at a higher rate with payments in the excess of one thousand dollars per monthWe immediately re-applied for the same USloan at a local bank where that banker worked with us and was very flexible, even after it went to underwriting for pre-approval she worked with underwriting and us asking for additional information or more up to date supporting documents and without error was pre-approved at similar amount we were asking at Quicken LoansThis whole experience has put a bad taste in our mouth for ever wishing to use Quicken Loans for any type of loan in the future
It was very impressive of how easy and fast to have our mortgage refinancedThank you for helping us, as we were turned away from many financial institutions
