This was my second Home Mortgage Loan with Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage and it went even easier and quicker than the first I will and have recommended them to friends and family
I have been a happy customer of Quicken Loans for many years In fact I recommended them many times However my views on QL have changed with my most recent events I decided to refinance to a lower rate and take some equity money out to do home improvementsI decided to do a competitive review and not just work with QL to see what is out there I received a great rate and terms from my credit union which I have had great experience with QL couldn't match so the basically said they couldn't assist me with an refinance loan I moved forward with the credit union, closed the deal and paid off the QL mortgage amount When I called to get the pay off amount the women on the phone as great and understood my decision was just business After the pay off was sent to QL, the QL people came at me and my husband like vultures! They have called me and my husband everyday for the past days even though I told them to quit calling me and my husband THey had their chance at keeping my loan but couldn't beat the credit unions rates and now it is a done deal One person tried to get into the terms I had with the credit union, I basically told him it was not any of his business which then he told me I didn't need to be rude about it Today's call I basically asked them (again) to quit harassing me with all of these unwanted phone callsIt seems that QL promotes customer harassment which I am happy to be moved away from QL as my mortgage company and will never go back to them because of this harassment Complete change from six months ago when I would have told others about my great experience being a long time customer Ego or what? QL doesn't like to lose!
Walked us through each step, the loan processed very quick and we loved having the online site to see how everything was going every step of the wayWe could reach someone by phone or email whenever we neededThey even offer a way to pay bi weekly to pay off mortgage faster, at no additional cost
Very smooth process from start to finish Everyone was so nice and did their job well Not one single hiccup from beginning to end! We Highly recommend using Quicken Loans We will use them again if we ever have need
As a first time home buyers there were a couple of small issues at the end that I wish had been discussed at the beginning to make final closing less stress full
