The most professional, courteous, full access and seamless mortage transaction I have ever experienced !!!!!! Surprisingly, not from a typical bank nor a standard mortgage lender ! I would use Quicken Loans again, given the opportunity

My first mortgage was provided by Quickenloans back in when other local mortgage lenders said I would not qualifyBeing my first home purchase, I was uneasy and nervous but my Mortgage Banker, Mike Kompoltowicz walked me through this and was extremely helpful in guiding me through the processI have refinanced my loan twice since and have had the pleasure to continue to work with Mike every step of the wayMike is extremely knowledgeable, honest and professional in every aspect, keeping my best interest at heartI hope Mike will remain at Quickenloans for many years because I feel like he treated me more like family, than a number

The process is very MODERN and adheres to the current landscape of technology, customer service and just people's general online habits
The PROCESS itself was well thought out and as they say, truly engineered to amaze
But the PEOPLE were even better than the process
My loan specialist was a woman named Bobbie May
I will remember this woman and her approach to guiding me through the loan processI will remember it forevershe was genuine, earnest, responsiveI hope she wins some sort of recognition at her job

there was a consistent flow and professionalism across the board
It was an outstanding approach to customer service and I didn't feel like a customer not even once.I felt lucky, like we were a team and me successfully owning a home was the goal

I wound up dealing with Quicken Loans after I filled out a form online to see if I could get approved for a loan to buy my first home The next day I was contacted multiple times during work and I told each representative that I would not be available until after 5:p.mto speak with them For a week straight they would call at least times a day, during work hours and set an appointment to call me at 5:p.m No one would ever call me After about weeks of non stop harassment, I was finally able to speak with someone in the evening I told the representative that I was trying to see how far away from home ownership I was and what I would be approved for and the interest rate None of this information was provided to me, just a lot of fast talk before I was told my credit score needed to be a few points higher before they could approve me, and forwarded me to a credit specialist to help get my score up I explained that I had just paid off credit cards and a vehicle and everything should hit my credit in about a week A week later I was contacted again and found out that my credit score was now high enough to get a loan The loan agent confirmed my credit was now where it needed to be and asked if we had found a home and I told him there was one I was interested in I sent him a link to the home so he could check the address with the USDA database to see if it qualified for a USDA loan He called back a little later and said he couldn't get me approved for THAT home because it wasn't in an approved area, but to use the website to check other address and let him know when I found a home I liked I was left with the impression that I had been approved for a loan and just needed to find a home That night I emailed the loan agent and asked how much I was approved for and what my interest rate would be so I would know what price to look at in homes I also hired a realtor to assist me in finding a home in a USDA approved area The next day I called the agent and was informed that they were accidentally using my fiances income with mine (he wasn't going to be on the loan) and because of this that they cannot approve me for a loan because my income is not enough to qualify for a loan specifically designed for low income families (because I have student loans) The agent knew my fiance would not be on the loan from our first conversation At no point in dealing with Quicken loans were any of my questions answered with an honest, straight forward answer They always talked around my questions and didn't give me any actual answers until they told me I was too poor to buy a home This has been the absolute worst customer service experience of my life and now I have hard inquiry's on my credit when they should have realized in our first call that my income was too low to get approvedI would not recommend Quicken Loans to my worst enemy
