I had a lender setup, and I don't remember how exactly I got on Quicken's radar, but I received a call one day telling me they would make a great offerIt was my instinct to hang up as I almost always do, but I was cooking and waiting for water to boil so I figured I'd give them 2-minI talked to Haider Al-Ramdhan initially, he was very personal and upbeat, the type of person you just enjoy having a conversation with but he was very focused and motivated on making this loan for me and I loved that about himAfter the initial disclosures I dropped my other lender and I was set with QuickenHyde (Haider) was available by email almost all the time and it was a rare occasion when he didn't answer the phone but no matter what I never waited long for a call backHe was very patient with my questions and walked me through the whole processWhen I got to underwriting I worked with Jennifer Parks, she was every bit as pleasurable to work with as HydeThe sad part was, the builder was not as fast at getting things done as Quicken, I feel terrible for the times I was short on the phone or in an email only to find out later that Quicken had done everything they could they were waiting on documents from my builderI can't express how much this team impressed meA true pleasure to work with and very good and very fast at their jobs

TerribleOn multiple occasions they brought up last minute issue that have caused delays in the closingI understand things happen, Ive sold mortgages beforeThe issue is they wait until the last minuteSo imagine you told you boss you need Thursday off for the closing, and they call you that Monday, to say no, we need to push it out weeksNow you need to expalined to your boss about why you need to change daysImagine you have a storage unit you need to gives days notice, which you've doneNow you need to call, and say on second thought I need to pay for an additional month because we won't be closing on timeJust think of how many things are tied to this date, and how many you needs to now untieUnreal, and they act as they care, and say I understand your frustrations...sure I bet you do
