Paul R. is the Comfort Tech who performed my heat pump's winter check today. He arrived within the time frame promised by F.H. Furr. He was quick and thorough with his inspection and I received my service report via email within minutes of the completion of the service. I had a question concerning the operation of my heat pump. Paul was honest and indicated that my question was above the level of his expertise. He told me that he would inform his service manager and that I should receive a call from the manager within a couple of days. He also gave me the manager's contact info.

Prompt, courteous, and neat. I thought the price was a little high, but I had no experience in gauging the cost.

Chris C. visited our home to repair a kitchen sink that was backing up. He was professional and knew his craft as he reviewed various possibilities and solutions for the back up. After applying the most cost effective the backup was cleared and within an hour the job was completed. I was pleased with his work, his attention to detail and the workmanlike way he fixed our drain. As a customer I was completely satisfied with all my expectations met or exceeded.

My air conditioner broke down in Woodbridge at 11:30 p.m. on Friday night, the night before a big party with 40 guests expected on a 95 degree day. I got hold of the Furr office at 8:30 a.m. and Lucas S[redacted], the Furr technician, was at my house by 10:30 a.m. He sussed out the problem--I needed a new capacitor and more refrigerant--and got the system up and running (it was already 81 degrees inside the house by this time). he told me he had another call in Front Royal, but to give him a call on his cell phone if there was any problem. By 2:00 p.m. the inside temp had only dropped to 79, so I called Lucas, who promised to stop by again after he was finished in Front Royal (60 miles away). He arrived about 4:30 p.m. and realized the system needed much more refrigerant, so he put that in and the system started cooling down. The party went off without a problem and Lucas--and F. H. Furr--saved the day for us. I cannot thank Lucas enough.

Recently had a new thermostat installed and it wasn't programed to control the humidifier. I called F.H. Furr and they sent a technician out the same day. Juan was very professional and corrected the issue in short order.

Our technicians were Osvin J[redacted]z & Moe. They were prompt, polite and professional.
They worked diligently all day and kept every inch of flooring clean with tarps. When they
finished the installation, the areas where they worked were spotless both inside and out.
I would highly recommend them for a job well done.

Given the prior correspondence about this complaint, I find it insulting and view the trivial offer as nothing more than an attempt to make it appear that FH Furr resolved my complaint favorably.

I am rejecting this response because: The dirty filter found in the duct by a certified [redacted] repairman in January 2014 had to have been left in the duct when the unit was installed in May 2011 since it was the same size my old unit used and not the size used by the heat pump that Furr installed. There was no way any of the service calls would have even had that size filter with them. The fact that the other service calls did not find it simply means that they did not totally disassemble the heat pump as the qualified technician did.  If [redacted] is offended by the fact his installers sabotaged my system, he should take that up with [redacted] and [redacted] who installed this system for him since they are the ones giving him a bad name. My guess is these men have already been fired for their incompetence.

I spoke to Mr. [redacted] this morning.  The service issue is a manufacturer part and not workmanship related, the parts are under warranty but the labor is not (beyond one year).  I am working with the manufacturer of the coil to see if they are willing to assist with the labor...

cost.  I told Mr. [redacted] that I would be back in touch no later than tomorrow afternoon with the options.

I met Lucas Sh[redacted] on 15 Jul 16 for a HVAC inspection. He was extremely knowledgable and professional. If all of the techs are as good as Lucas I highly recommend FH Furr.

Mr. S. O[redacted] with FH Furr was prompt, courteous, and polite. I liked how he would go over the process of taking care of our heater. I have Always had great experiences with FH Furr and will continue to use them.

I have a yearly maintenance plan. This was my first year and I've been pleased with their service.

Chris S[redacted] arrived on time. He conducted business in a professional but very friendly manner. He was extremely knowledgeable and willing to share his expertise in a manner that was helpful and easy to understand. This level of service is why we choose F. H. Furr again and again.

F.H. Furr Plumbing gives great service in a timely manner. Their Comfort Technician Paul R. checked out and answered all my questions, worked efficiently, and explained things well.

Paul R[redacted] came when expected, was polite and considerate. He knew what to do, and did it quickly. I was pleased with his work.

Rashid and his FH Furr team worked for 14 hours to install our new HVAC system, overcoming a difficult chimney and broken wire under a deck to get the job done. As far as we can tell so far, they did a great job, were very polite and tried their best to minimize the amount of mess. Great work, highly recommend.

The technician, Paul R., was on time and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain some items and was very informative. I highly recommend F.H. Furr and specifically, Paul R.
