Thank you for referring the complaint of [redacted] to our office for reviewWe appreciate Mr [redacted] bringing this matter to our attention The Complaint states that: Customer stating that he was not satisfied with the outcome of his original Revdex.com complaint about the upgrade of internet services to Ultimate and there being a $credit to his account every month Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response: Frontiers review of the account and listening to the calls that were placed from the customer the customer agreed to a monthly charge of not including taxes and surcharges for the monthly rate with the upgrade to the customerAfterreview of the billing it is shown that the customer’s monthly billing isactually per month not including taxes and surchargesI contactedthe customer to state to him that there will be no changes to hisaccount and that he was actually receiving services at a cheaper ratethan what he was quotedHe did request for a credit on the account fortime out of services on 9/01/2016-9/15/with the internet servicesand I did agree to apply the credit in the amount of for the timeout of servicesNo further action is needed at this time and I amclosing the Revdex.com rebuttal We trust that this information will assist you in closing this complaint We apologize for any inconvenience that Mr [redacted] has experienced as a result of the above matter

Revdex.com:I do want to say that I was not contacted by Frontier Communications on December 7, with the resolutionHowever, I did receive a letter from CPA (the credit collection agency) on 12/7/stating that I still owed the $ In addition, I called Frontier times after that and no one returned my calls I just contacted CPA and confirmed what Frontier wrote in your email The agent told me that Frontier had contacted them on the same date as the letter they sent me stating that all I owed was the $ I have paid CPA and asked for a confirmation that this account has been paid in full I REALLY appreciate your assistance As I stated before, I have been struggling with this since mid August I just want to pinch myself to make sure that I am not dreaming that this is finally resolved! Frontier Communications Thank you for referring the complaint [redacted] to our office for reviewWe appreciate his bringing this matter to our attentionAccording to the complaint: Mr [redacted] has been a long time customer of Frontier Communication A few weeks back his router stopped workingFrontier sent him a replacement routerFrontier technical support was unable to open a port through the firewall to allow remotely accessing his PC Mr [redacted] requests to make it so he can open ports through the router firewallFrontier does not allow the use of any other routers to be used with the Frontier service Mr [redacted] believes Frontier has a software issue with the routers and refuses to fix it Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response: Frontier records indicate Mr [redacted] reported an issue with his router and port forwarding/opening of ports on November 12, Frontier attempted to assist in troubleshooting, and then replaced the routerFrontier technical support assisted Mr [redacted] in opening the ports requested on December 7, Frontier found no fault in the new modem/router provided The technician reported Mr [redacted] stated he was still unable to access his Plex server/service on his modemMr [redacted] ’s request for opening ports and interfacing with 3rd party software falls outside the scope of our basic technical support Mr [redacted] was offered a Premium technical support option (at an additional cost) and chose not to use itMr [redacted] ’s service with Frontier is a FIOS serviceFrontier does not support the use of 3rd party modem/routers Use of non-standard modem/routers may cause other unintended conditions that Frontier would be unable to assist with We trust that this information will assist you in closing this complaint We apologize for any inconvenience that Mr [redacted] has experienced as a result of the above matter Frontier Specialist: Brian M [redacted] Department: Executive Customer Relations
