Gene A. was very friendly and personal. He made sure I understood the repairs needed and made sure to answer any of my questions. The company also sent an email showing photos of the possible repair people who would be coming, which helps you feel more secure.

A delightful experience, [redacted] (tech) arrived on time, diagnosed problem, and explained to me my options. A very patient man (sometimes had to explain twice) then fixed problems, gave me discounts, and was gone, the price was very fair, [redacted], knew his product well, was fast, efficient, courteous, and cleaned up well after the service was complete. I couldn't be happier.

I called Garage Door Medics on a Sunday morning and they were able to be at my house that afternoon. My garage door opener motor was completely shot and needed to be replaced. [redacted] had everything that was needed to install a new unit including the motor replacement springs and new rollers. There was no preasure to buy anything, he only recommended what could be done and how long other repairs might last if I did not purchase new equipement. [redacted] was very polite and friendly and got the job done in about 2 hours. He even programmed additional remotes and programmed my car to work with the new garage door. Very happy with their service.

[redacted]l was very professional and thorough. Patiently explained to me all I needed to know and answered my questions. He completed his work fast.

[redacted]l was very helpful to diagnose the problem with one door, then offered to adjust the other two while he was here. He not only adjusted all springs, but also lubricated and tweaked the controls for all of them. He gave me advice on emergency spring replacement, best type of lubrication and where to obtain it. He is an excellent technician and very customer service oriented.

Jake was friendly, honest, & professional. He reviewed our options for fixing our door & was straightforward in his demeanor. Great guy.

Pedro came out at exactly the time expected. He didn't try to give us the big sell, he just did what we agreed was needed then he pointed out something we hadn't noticed, which was our cables were frayed. We decided to change those too and the price was very reasonable. While he was at it he gave everything else the once over and told us it looked great and how to grease the parts properly which he did for us! The garage looks great and sounds much better and we felt he took great care of us as home owners.

Excelent and prompt service, delivered professionally. Was very pleased to find a company willing to work on a Sunday afternoon/evening to fix a broken spring in a garage door. Without their help, we would have been in trouble trying to get to work on Monday. The technician, [redacted]., took the time to explain what was wrong, what neeed fixing, and things to look out for in the future.

After 14 years our garage door opener was worn out and stopped working. We found Garage Door Medics on Angies List and called to schedule an inspection. We received both an email confirmation of the appointment and a courtesy call to confirm [redacted] was on the way. When he arrived, he checked the opener then gave us a range of options. He asked us a number of questions before recommending a new opener. The installation went smoothly and the new opener looks and works great. [redacted] did a thorough cleanup, helped program the Homelink in our car, explained the operation of the opener, and was patient and very nice. We will definitely use this firm again when we upgrade our doors and add a second opener.

Excellent service!

[redacted], North San Diego County service technician, is extremely knowledgeable, polite, communicative using terrific descriptions, and honest. Mr. [redacted] is efficient in his occupational duties.

I found G.D.M on the Revdex.com site and gave them a call. The best move I made all week! The gentlemen on the phone new exactly what I wanted and said they be over in the afternoon. The technician ([redacted]) called and came when promised. [redacted] examined the door and promptly provided a very reasonable estimate to fix the door (it had been hit by a tree trimming truck and bent and broken). When [redacted] was done the door was better than new. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. When the door needs to be replaced they will have the job! Thank you [redacted]!

Gene with Garage Door Medics saved the day yesterday. My garage door would not close, so I was not able to get to work. They sent out a repairman in a couple of hours. Fast, honest service and educated me on how the door works and how the problem started. Got my garage door back in working order. Even offered to honor a groupon for me on the spot! Thanks!

The tech arrived on time and was very polite. He knew what was wrong with my garage door immediately. He worked quickly and had my garage door up and running again in no time.

On May 26, 2016, I called Garage Door Medics for scheduling to come to take a look at our garage door opener and give us an estimate on the morning of May 27. The gentleman name John came on the 27th told us we need to replace a new garage door opener. He gave me various options and I didn't like the cost of the option that I wanted (since I have done researches). I told him I did not want the service. He charged me $49 for not doing the service. I said when I called the office for scheduling the appointment, they did not mention anything about the service charge. He charged me $49 anyway. However, I received an email from Medics on May 26 after scheduling the appointment as follow:

"Dear Mr. Nguyen,

Thank you for choosing Garage Door Medics, we value your business.

Your appointment is confirmed for: May 27, 2016 (8:00am-10:00am)

Your technician will call you 30 minutes prior to his arrival so as not to disrupt your day. If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please let the technician know at this time or call in advance and let us know as a $49 service call charge will be billed to you for a no call/no show appointment.

If you have any questions or need to change your appointment please feel free to contact me at 619-234-8093."

The above email is unclear and mislead, and therefore, I believe it is unfair for the customer(s). It is a very bad business practice.

Thank You.

John showed up the same day I called and gave me a fair repair estimate. The garage door was repaired in less than an hour which made my wife happy because her car was stuck inside:-)

Service tech [redacted] arrived at the specified time and did an excellent job explaining necessary work. [redacted] is a real asset to this company. He has a friendly, professional manner.

They came during the time window I was told when I requested service. [redacted] was very courteous and prompt. He pointed out all the issues I had with my garage door and explained clearly how repairing it would make my door work well with my new garage opener. [redacted] was also very friendly answered all the questions I had. A left a very positive impression with me.

Called Garage Door Medics late on Friday afternoon. They were able to provide after hours service at no additional cost to fix our roll up door that would not close. [redacted] called and said when he would be arriving and he got to our home right when he said he would. I explained the situation and shortly after he inspected the door what I thought was the problem he discovered it was something else. He explained everything to me and brought a bunch of things (some related to previous repair person) to my attention and, told me what the cost to fix it would be. He ended up repairing several things that he discovered that had gone bad that I was unaware of. Bottom line I could not have asked for more professional or thorough service from start to finish with this company. I would and will highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

Excellent service and honest - what more can you ask for - also quick response to problem.
