When customers order our product, they check a box that states the terms and conditions attached to this product. The first amount of $4.95 is the shipping cost of the product for the 14 day free trial. The customer must ask our customer service representatives for a RMA number in order to return the product and cancel any further shipments. Every customer is automatically signed onto our monthly subscription unless they call in to cancel and return the product. After the 14 days and not canceling the product, the customer is charged $89.95 for the first bottle they received. The following months the customer is charged $94.90 for the product and shipping and handling together. This would be a recurring charge until further cancellations. 
 
The customer stated that she tried to resolve this issue with her credit card company. She must speak to her credit card company at this point. Her credit card company is processing the transaction to refund the amount back to her account. As stated in our system, her order was marked as a chargeback. She must deal with this situation with her credit card company. Her second charge on 5/10/2014 should have been posted into her account by now. 
 
We have had no issues of customers calling in and cancelling their orders with us.  If a customer called in and cancelled an order, we would have cancelled it without an hesitation and added notes to their order.  We do not have record of this customer calling in to cancel before 5/14/2014.

options before agreeing to them through our automated phone system. The customer also has the option to speak to our customer service representatives directly. According to our records, the customer was contacted via email on 10/27, 10/28, 10/29 and spoke to a representative on 10/24 twice.

the 14 days is over in order to avoid charges. If the customer does not cancel, they will be charged for that trial bottle and be enrolled in our monthly subscription program.

Review: I ordered Garcinia Advanced online for the shipping fee of $4.95. Not even an hour later, I looked closer and decided I didn't want to deal with the hassle of cancelling the trial and then shipping stuff back. Again, it hadn't even been 1 hour since I placed the order. When I called to cancel and tell them not to ship the item to me, they said it was already shipped and couldn't stop the shipment, so they would still charge me the shipping, plus I had to ship it back at my expense. Who ships an item within an hour? I also only have 15 days to get the item back to them when I don't even have the item in my possession yet because it was only 1 hour after I placed the order.

I then asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told to hold. They came back telling me one wasn't available. I asked again to speak to one, and was put on hold again. She came back and said that again no supervisor was available. I told her I would wait until one is. Again, put on hold, and again she came back saying they were all still busy. She then asked if I would like to be called back. I said yes. I assume this was her way to get rid of me because it has been hours later, and I have no call back from a supervisor.

I also filed a complaint earlier for Cleanse Pro, made by the same company, though I never requested a supervisor there as I figured I'd be given the runaround again.Desired Settlement: Since I didn't want the item shipped to me at all and I asked them to cancel it within an hour of me ordering the item, I would like a refund of the shipping cost as well as what it will cost me to ship it back. There's no way the item was already shipped and couldn't be pulled so soon after!

Review: When I ordered their product, it was a 2 week free trial. The order page had an automated button for reorders to be deducted from your credit card and every time I unclicked the button somehow it clicked back on when the order was completed, I tried several times and thought I had it off when I completed the transaction. They send a 45 day supply and charge $[redacted] for the Garcinia Advance and $[redacted] for the Purelean. Therefore I am out $[redacted]. The product is a placebo. There is no information telling you that you are getting a 45 day supply and your 14 day trial starts when you order, NOT when you receive the product, I found all of this when I researched the company. I cancelled my order when I saw the charges on my credit card. TOO LATE they sent me another 30 day supply, which I am mailing back today, the same day I got it. They also have a different address for returns than the one on the package. This is a TOTAL FRAUD and RIPOFF!!Desired Settlement: I probably can't get my $$$ back, but I would like their deceitful practices to be THWARTED!! I would also like for them to send the contract along with the product so you have it in writing and aren't expected to "KNOW" all of their thieving ploys!

Review: I ordered Garcinia Advanced from an ad for $4.99 on 3/30/14. The day I received the bottle, I called & canceled my account as I did not want to have to pay $90 a month. I received nothing further until today, 5/14/14. I had no idea why I was getting this bottle & I contacted them to ask why they had charged me $89.95 when I had canceled this account. The charge was made on 4/10/14. They stated that the customer (me) did not cancel this account. I explained when I canceled & they refused to believe me. They offered me a discount refund of 15%, then 25%, then again at 15% which she was told they would do for me. This is the entry from my credit card. This is for the sample bottle. Upon receipt of this bottle, I called and canceled this account. Since I had done this, I was not expecting them to take anything else from my card. But they did. I was not expecting it therefore I didn't know about the April charge. Since I did not receive a bottle for this charge, I was not aware of it.

I contacted them immediately via phone and sent them this email on May 14, 2014:

I ordered a sample bottle of Garcinia Advanced from an ad for $4.99 on

March 30, 2014. The day I received the bottle, I called and canceled my

account as I did not want to have to pay $90 a month. I never received

anything further until today, May 14, 2014. I had no idea why I was

getting this bottle.

I called the number I found on my credit

card statement to ask why they had charged me $89.95 when I had canceled

this account. The charge was made on 4/10/2014. They stated that the

customer (me) did not cancel this account. I explained when I canceled

and they refused to believe me. They offered me a discount refund of

15%, then 25%, then again at 15% which she was told they would do for

me. I do not want this bottle of pills and they refused to refund the

entire amount because I "didn't cancel during the trial period." Which I

did, on the exact day I received the sample bottle which would have

been around the 2 or 3 of April. They were not helping me so I asked to

speak to a supervisor and was told they were not taking calls. As I

tried to further discuss this, I became angry and she hung up on me.

I

called back and spoke with someone else, and was told the same thing.

He was a supervisor and there wasn't anyone there who was his

supervisor. He kept interrupting me and I became angry and unfortunately

started to yell. "The customer" did not call and cancel. I explained

that I was the customer and I did call and cancel the account. Was it

not possible that the cancellation request was not entered? And because

it isn't showing up on the computer then I did not make the call. That

was not possible was the response. I became loud again and lost my

temper and swore at him which I should not have done. There was

absolutely no cooperation with either of these 2 reps. They refused to

believe that I canceled due to the fact that it doesn't show up on the

computer. We have all heard that because the computer says so, so it is

gospel. He warned me that he disconnect if I continued to be angry. I

hung up at that point.

I contacted my credit card company to

begin a dispute on this charge. That is when I discovered that another

charge had been made just a couple days ago. That would make 2 charges

for $90+ and I only got 1 product for these 2 charges? Seriously, if

you are going to charge someone for something, how about you make sure

they received a product to pay for. I have to say that I almost had a

heart attack and just started to cry. I couldn't believe this was

happening. You did not make the cancellation when I called so I am

the one in the wrong. I haven't even opened the sample bottle yet!

Then an April charge which I did not receive a bottle for. Then a

bottle today and the charge is processing on my card.

I will

send the bottle back, I just want my money refunded. I called and

canceled this account prior to 4/10/14, the date I received the first

charge. Like I said, I wasn't expecting anything because I canceled,

and did not look at the card statement in April and missed the charge.

I

have canceled that card as of today and any other charges will be

stopped. The card company is starting a dispute for the 2 charges that I

have now. I will be sending a copy of this email to you and Revdex.com as

well as the Ripoff site. I see that you have had many complaints

exactly like mine, and that tells me you are not a reputable company, do

not follow your own terms and agreements, and I am going to start

proceedings with these other clients as a group law suit. I certainly

hope you are prepared to explain your actions.

I am not going to

go away. I will make sure that your company and its nonexistent

customer service is made available through my many resources. Kindly

try to avoid acting like you are above the law and refund my money 100%,

not 15, 25, or even 50. All of it.

I have nothing but time on

my hands, so make sure you understand that I will take this as far as I

have to, and then some. Thank you for you attention to this matter.

This is the second email I sent them regarding this issue and no response to either of these yet.

I sent you a request regarding the return of this item 2 days ago and am

awaiting a reply. Are you going to refund the 2 charges of $94.90 for a

total of $189.80 to my credit card? Upon your answer to me via this

email, I will return the item. For those 2 charges I received 1 item,

not 2. So, since you did not send me 2 items for the 2 charges, you

need to make one of those refunds due to the fact I did not even receive

the item.

have started a fraud complaint with the credit card company and the Revdex.com

of CA. It would be in your best interest to comply.

I cannot scan the shipping package label but here is the info. This is for the bottle that arrived 5/14/14 which is what alerted me they had charged me for this, and after contacting them, they refused to believe me when I told them I had canceled this account. They did not mention the first charge of $89.95. I discovered that one when I contacted my credit card company. I almost had a heart attack.

I cannot believe they called me a liar in a round about way and hung up on me to boot. There are others who have had this exact thing done to them by the same company. This company needs to be brought to justice for false advertising and theft.

This has caused me several problems the largest being the financial side. I find it incredible they can get away with this. Yes, I have learned a lesson, but I did what was required of me to close this account within the time frame referenced. They did not.

The first record of the customer calling in and speaking to a representative is on 5/14/2014. The representative then cancelled the customer's order. The amount of $94.90 for her order placed on 5/10/2014 was refunded on 6/9/2014 after receiving the product. This amount should have been posted back into [redacted]'s account 3-5 business days from the refund date. We are unable to refund her for the transaction date 4/10/2014 for the amount of $89.95. She called her bank and asked to get it charged back onto her card. She must speak to her bank regarding these funds. They have taken the amount out of our account to process back to the customer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I did not call my bank. I contacted my credit card company as it was the source of the charges. I do not understand what they are stating at the end. The bank took this $89.95 charge from them to pay me back??? I never contacted my bank. There is nothing in my bank info indicating they are doing anything regarding this issue. They have no clue. The first charge $89.95 was taken and I did not receive the product. The second charge is supposedly being processed by my credit card company and I will have to wait a little longer for this to appear on my card.

I still need the $89.95 charge refunded. As stated, my bank is not involved in this issue at all. They are continuing to tell stories that are not true. I contacted my credit card company, not my bank.

This issue is not resolved. As soon as I send this, I will be contacting this business again to resolve the first charge that I did not recieve a product for. Thank you for your continued assistance.

Review: When I made my free 14 day trial purchase for Garcinia Advanced I was unaware that I was going to be automatically charged $89.95 immediately after my trial ended. When I signed up for my free trial nowhere did I give authorization to be set up on a recurring monthly payment and I did not authorize them to charge my credit card account. I signed up for a free trail for two products Garcinia Advanced and Cleanse Pro where I was suppose to be responsible for shipping which was 5.95 for cleans pro and 4.95 for Garcinia. Those amounts were charged to my account. Then I noticed a charge for $89.95 on my credit card and a few days later $79.95 for which I did not authorize. I called the company to let them know I was dissatisfied with the way they did business and advertising and that I wasn't satisfied with their product and I wanted a full refund. I even offered to return the portion of the product that was unused. The man from Garcinia told me pretty much I was stuck with the charges and the woman from Clease Pro offered me a 15% refund. When I asked the woman from Cleanse Pro if I could talk to a supervisor she had me wait a moment then said, I am a supervisor! The site claimed to have a 100% guarantee. I think this is false advertisement and poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the products ($79.95 and $89.95) and I will return the unused product and agree to pay for the shipping cost of $5.95 and $4.95.

Review: I ordered Garcinia online for a promotional price of 4.95. I was charged $89.95 two weeks later and locked into auto-renew. Nowhere in their material or e-mail confirmation did it state this would happen. If I was aware of this, I would not have signed up. I tried contacting the customer service to reverse the charges, but was unable to get a live agent (all automated for cancelling membership, and that's it). All I would like is a refund of $89.95 and no further charges. I felt the need to report this business because I don't feel they are being clear about what a trail entails. Review: I contacted the company in regards to $89.97 which was pulled from my checking account, they stated the link I used to get the free product, which I paid shipping, stated I had 14 days to cancel, the link I followed did not make the statement. I talked with an individual, and after much heated discussion they agreed to reimburse me the full amount if I returned the product within 14 days, I was given and RMA# which was to be placed on the outside of the envelope. I was given RMA#[redacted], I contacted the company on Nov 18th to inquire as to why my account had not been refunded the money, the proceeded to inform me that I had never contacted them and had never received and RMA# and continued to tell me that I returned the product without prior authorization from them. They proceeded to tell me that they were now going to re-ship me bottles (I had cancelled the account previously when I requested my refund) and I would then have to return them with a new RMA# and they would not give me a refund. I gave them the name and ID number of the person I talked with prior and was repeatedly told that I had never contacted them, the individual I talked with previously who gave me the RMA# was [redacted].....ID [redacted]. In addition when I signed up I signed up for myself and my son with me paying and used two seperate cards, my debit for me and my credit card for my son, the company took all the funds from my checking account, which was not authorized, which I am filing a fraud complaint with my bank. I have been told that I will not receive reimbursement, they continue to tell me I never called, yet, I have a phone bill that shows I called and was on the phone for awhile, plus the name of the individual I talked with plus her ID# and the shipping address with necessary information they gave me.Desired Settlement: I would like the full amount returned to my account $89.95, which is what I was told would happen if I returned the product

I called to tell them (5 minutes later) I had not finished ordering & did not want the product. They said it had already processed & could not be stopped. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said no one available, will call me back. I called again & the recording said "press 1 to cancel", I did and it replied "congratulations you have purchased a full month supply @ 50% off for total of [redacted]! I called back again & pressed for a real person, explained I did not want the product, was told I could not cancel. I asked to speak to a supervisor & was told not available. I then told her I was going to report to Revdex.com & my credit card company. A supervisor became available immediately & I told him I want to cancel this order. He said not possible because it had already processed & shipped, & I said that was not possible that it was processed & shipped within 5 minutes! Review: I replied to advertisement for a trial sample of a dietary supplement, I just had to pay shipping and handling. They withdrew the money from my checking account. I checked my check account today and found that they had made two withdrawals from my account again one for $85.90 and one for $94.90. I called the customer service number to explain that I did not authorize any further deductions from my account but they said it was in the terms of the contract, I was not aware I had a contract of any kind! They said they could not give my money back, I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told there was not one available. I am not employed and can not afford to lose this money! Review: Ordered 1st trial thru the mail on 10/27/14. (trial period is only 14 days) I could not reach anyone within those 14 days, so I tried the product. It did not work. I have been trying for 4 months now to cancel my orders. No one replies to emails and rarely can you understand them when they do answer the phone.Each month I have called to cancel, each month another charge is added to my account and another bottle is shipped.I have faxed over copies of my statements showing the charges, to no avail.My call last night (no one answered during the day) the representative was bargaining with me, saying she could only give my $13.49 refund on last shipment, then when I got angry and told her this wasn't a flea market, she finally said she would issue a $89.95 refund on last shpmt only. Review: On July 14,2014 I ordered a 14 day free trial of Garcinia Advanced from www.trygarciniaadvanced.com. The product shipped on July 15,2014. On July 28,2014 I called to cancel subscription only to be told that the 14th day was July 27,2014. On the paper work that was sent with the product plainly states that customer service hours are Monday-Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm pst. So calling to cancel on July 27,2014 was not an option considering customer service was closed per their paperwork. I called 4 times asking for a supervisor which I was never able to speak with. Finally I spoke with [redacted] (would not give last name) employee id number [redacted] and she was able to get me a 50% refund after a long discussion about fraud and the consequence. Review: I believe the website is not forthcoming enough with the terms of the offer. It is listed when you read the terms and conditions link on the bottom of the page but I think it should be marked very clearly on the main page that if you do not cancel your order within 14 days, you will be charged $ 90.00.Desired Settlement: The company did refund me 50% but I would like the entire amount refunded. I also want them to mark it clearly on their main page that you need to cancel within 14 days or you will be charged more money. I don't want anyone else to fall prey to this, as I did.

Review: I recently purchased a free trail of the garcinia weight lose product, how ever today I was charged a total amount of $89.95. I contacted customer service and brought this charge to their attention also the fact of not knowing I would be subject to any other charges besides the shipping price of the free trail. First I was offered a 15% refund, then 25%, then 50% not the 100% guarantee advertised by this companies web site. I explained to the Rep that only a full proper refund of the amount withdrawn outside of the the free trail shipping price would be of satisfactory. the Rep informed me that this wasnt possible because certain authorization was needed that he or she did not posses. I feel as if I am being taken advantage of by this company, Im also having trouble understanding why my account info was saved after being billed for the shipping of the free trail offer.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the unauthorized amount withdrawn by this company.

Review: I was charged $89.95 for a subscription I never signed up for. I only was ordered one free sample with a $4.95 shipping charge. I called to dispute the charges and was only credited 50%. They feel since the product was not received back I am not getting a full refund. Since I have no product and a monthly subscription was oped with out my knowledge. I feel I should have the balance of the money credited back to me. A representative refunded $44.98 on 4/10/2014. We refunded the remaining amount of $44.97 for the rest of the transaction on 4/21/2014 after receiving this Revdex.com complaint. Our customers are automatically signed onto our monthly subscription program unless they call in and cancel their 14 day free trial. This monthly subscription was in our terms and conditions. Every consumer checks the terms and condition box before receiving our product. The consumer is asking to refund the balance. With that said, we have refunded the remaining balance to James Bulas. In the previous response, we stated that the balance will be posted withing 3-5 business days. Please allow some time for the transaction to process.

First it was charged to a credit card not a bank. But I am following up with my credit card company and on the statement it shows a charge to Garcinia 3 times in the amount of 14.71 and a credit 14.71 of the same amount 2 times.

The customer is reading her credit card statement incorrectly. We only charged her $14.71 once. Her account was not charged five times. This was an authorized charge by the consumer. Under the terms of this agreement, 14.71 will be charged to the customer today, and all future orders to this customer will be discontinued.
