I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meHowever, Goedeker's does have customer support issues that need to be improvedPlease see the list below:On at least occasions I called Goedeker's and waited to minutes for someone to answer the phoneUltimately, I got tired of waiting, and hung upOn at leas occasions, after waiting for at least minutes for someone at Goedeker's to answer my phone call, I was suddenly cut off, and had to call back and get placed at the back of the queueThe head of internet sales told me the reason for the long backorder times was the company that imports appliances for LG & Samsung was in bankruptcy, and there were million containers being held up because of thisI called LG and they told me this was not trueThe order was placed on Dec 8, About January 3rd, I changed the delivery address to our new home that we closed on Dec 29thThe young lady told me she would make the delivery address change, as the appliances had not been shipped yetHowever she never made the address changeOn Jan 23, I was told to make the address change, I would have to change the address on my credit card that was used to pay for the appliances to match the delivery addressI told the young lady there was no way I was going to change the billing address of my credit cardIt is a business card that I order things on all the time, and have the items shipped to locations all over the countryShe said she wold not approve the shipping address change unless I did thisIt is clear to me that Goedeker's is suffering from growing pains, in addition to employees that have not been properly trained, and procedures that have not been fully developed and implementedI was told by Goedeker's that they do not stock appliances, that they are drop shipped from the manufacturersHowever, in looking at the shipping information, I found the appliances I ordered were coming from Missouri, where Goedeker's is locatedRelative to the backorder, in speaking with LG, they told me they have a group that works with companies that sells their appliances to minimize backorder issuesThey said they would not tell me if there were backorder issues relative to the model numbers of the appliances that I orderedThey only provide this service to their dealersThe bottom line is that Goedeker's could do a much better job of working with their customers, and improving the efficiency of their operationsAs I write this, it is January 25, 2017, and I am still without appliances

The product ordered was on a manufacturer back order and out of our controlThere was an error on our part in getting his shipping address changed and having his order re-directed and we apologize for the errorWe have been in contact with the customer to expedite his delivery and product will
delivered ThursdayWe are sorry for the problem and am working to address the issues

I am rejecting this response because: This offer is the same as the conversation discussed and denied on 12/The offer is 1/5th of the increase of the price of the “comparable like “item” offered on 12/and 1/10th the price the replacement item offered on 1/ This is a slap in the face; I shouldn’t have to pay more what this company states is a like itemI did receive a call on 1/17th however the company hung up abruptly when answeredStill waiting for a call back from a manager that can rectify this situationCell is ***

notified immediately and feel that a partial credit is the proper way to fix the issueI did accept the $credit, as I previously stated, to purchase the stain, as the company requested me to do so, but only because they told me that there was nothing else they could doI advised that if the stain did not match that I would want it replacedI advised that they could re charge my cc the $95.00, as I really wanted to product fixed and not a monetary fix

The product came direct from Ashley and did have issuesThe customer agreed to a $damage allowance which we agreed to and refunded them as both parties agreed. Sorry customer is now not satisfied with the agreement

The business response does not address the problemThe item was not missing partsThe unit was received USED and damagedThis was why it was needing to be returnedThe original manufacturer U-Line is making moves to return my moneyGoedecker's has not addressed my problem in an appropriate mannerI am awaiting my refund from U-Line to come from Goedeker's

I am rejecting this response because, based on others reviews, this seems to happen a lot more than “rarely.” This is just bad business and potentially fraudulentThere is no way this business can have an A+ ratingHalf of the Revdex.com reviews are negative! That’s a “C” rating in my book.I really hope someone at Revdex.com takes a better look into Goedeker’s business practices and lowers their rating appropriately

UPS has tried to pick up twice and item was not outside ready for pick upUPS is coming again today but will not come after today if unit is not ready and then customer will have to take it to UPS

We will take this table back and order another

The customer ordered a dishwasher onlineThe dishwasher shipped from New York warehouse to LA californiaWhen the shipping company arrived at the home no one answered and apparently they were in the shower which is not the delivery companies
faultThe customer then proceeded to buy a dishwasher locally and feel they do not have any responsibilty for the shipping charges on the dishwasher they had already purchased and had shipped across the country which is not reasonable
We tied to work with the customer but she refused
Our policy for online purchases is very customer friendly as we do not charge restocking fees which almost all online companies charge for items with expensive shipping like major appliances

The unit was reported to have a missing kick plate which we ordered and sent to the customerWe order these direct from the Uline distributor who is DMI and the unit was shipped brand new direct to the customerThe unit could be returned under our day satisfaction guarantee and customer would
only be responsible for shipping charges which amount to $365.00. Unit should be boxed and in new condition for credit

Being delivered today

We have ordered the bed and will be shipped as soon as it is availableManufacturer back order due end of June

Complaint: *** I am rejecting this response because: Warranty should not even apply here, because I was sent a defected productThis is absolutely not GE's issueGE did not sell me nor send me the defected product, Goedekers didAt the plant I work for, if a customer has a process issue with our material, what do you think they would say if I responded, "You need to talk with our suppliers about that"? GE having a defected product is something that the distributor, Goedekers, needs to talk about with the supplier, GEOnce the GE unit is in your warehouse and you are selling it under the Goedeker name, it is Goedeker's obligation to fulfill the contractThat means it is Goedeker’s duty to replace the part in a satisfactory manner, whether that is going through GE or using the EXACT link that I sent you the first day to directly order the partTo reemphasize your lack of communication, please read through every email that was sent to me from Goedekers in this process and point out to me where I was told I needed to contact GE (no I should not have needed to)I was sent the replacement part model number from *** by a Goedekers representativeI know you cannot make the motor, but as long as you can go to that website, click the “add to cart” button and proceed to check out, then you certainly cannot cover up your horrendous customer service, blame GE, and expect this response to be satisfactory Sincerely, *** ***
