Bought *** recliner in 10/10/with a full undercarriage warranty of yearsI contacted Sears in May when the chair would no longer recline due to broken spring and bolts- they said they would fix it but that it could take months for the parts to arriveThe work order was made in June2016..they did come once in Sept but they did not have all the parts needed- they reordered them...it is now months and yes they have the parts but I have moved km from my original address and they keep saying they will call me within hrs too book an appt but they never do callI call them once a weekLast week they told me I was now a "high priority " and I need not bother to call but them anymore , that they would e-mail me
I do not think they have any intention of ever fixing my chair!!

*** To finally fix my range nearly took months to fix!!!!!!!!!! It took a week and half for them to come out and look at and than order partsAnd when the day came to install those parts they call that morning to say "the service man will be unable to come today, the next appointment will be in a week" A WEEK!!!!!!!! Never mind I had to take time off of work for this tooIn the end they did this kind of thing happened another times!!! And in the end for all my troubles all they can do is a *** gift cardLike I'll ever shop there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *** ***

We ordered a mattress cover on line for approx $This was free delivery because it was over $We received the mattress cover approx weeks after ordering itThis mattress cover was in a small box that weighed approx lbWe received approx telephone calls about receiving this mattress coverWe were told that we needed to be home from 8:to on a SatThis item could have been left at our front doorI signed my name twice and initialed once when I received this itemWe order many items online with many other companies but I will tell you this will be the last time I order something with Sears on lineI think Sears will be out of the online business very soon unless they get with the times and start using UPS or some courier company to deliver smaller items

I ordered items online from Sears.ca business days later, I still don't have the items This is after multiple calls to their customer service and multiple emails (all of which have gone unanswered)One agent tells me the items are in shipment and I should have them within business daysbusiness days later, I still have not received the items The next agent tells me they are on back-order Sears.ca Terms of Use states that Sears will notify customers of any delaysI never received any form of notificationWhen I asked for them to cancel the order and refund it, they say they can'tI must wait until I receive the items to request a refund! I don't understand that logic at allI've been chasing my tail for weeks in trying to get this resolved and it's still notNo supervisors are ever available to which I can escalate when I callCharge back with credit card providers is my next step

New gas stove breaking down in less than two months of purchaseWaiting over weeks for repair
November we purchased a fridge and dishwasherDecember we purchased a gas range Three very large purchases in a short period of time There are only myself and my husband in the house nowOn January our front right ignition dial would not stop "clicking "even when the dial was turned ofWe eventually had to unplug the stove to stop the clicking I called our local Sears store and was not impressed by the serviceHe insisted that I had to make all the calls to the service center to initiate the repair on my NEW STOVE ! I initiated the call and waited one week with no responseAfter a week with I recalled our local Sears office again and was told they did not have the phone number for the repair center and that I would have to *** it! (The number he gave me one week prior! A lie )When I explained I was the one who called he quickly changed his tone I called Sea

***I'll never buy another appliance from SEARS We've been overcharged and stood up times before a *** technician showed up to change our oven element In order to reschedule we've had to call their parts service almost on daily basis only to be put on hold for a total of hour at a time and having to answer the same questions over and over again Not to mention that this is the second time we've had to replace the same element in less than yearsYou can't run a business like this and expect to retain your customers

On November 21st I ordered three items online that said they were in stock I've received one item weeks later I've made four phone calls and have been told the same thing each time It's quite obvious they are reading from a script You get put on old while they call the warehouse you get put on hold a second time while they talk to a supervisor they tell you they will escalate it and you will hear back within hours and you never hear back I've also sent out two emailswhich states you will hear back within hours and you never hear back I will be sending another email today and making another phone call If I don't hear back, I will be making a formal complain to the Revdex.com rather than just this review

*** *** Placed the online order with sears.ca of an daybed at Apr 23,2017, as one of my friends was going to visit me in middle of May, I will need a single bed to put in my guest room for him and will keep it in my home officeOrdered item should arrive the store for pick up Apr Didn't get e-mail and call to notice the pick up,so just drive there to ask,was told they didn't receive it maybe some days delayWait a week, still didn't get any news from them,called customer service number at May 5th and was told the item should on the way in transit,not sure what time can be picked up,once the store get it will call me to noticeDidn't get phone call or e-mail notice till today May 22, called the store to check was told don't have it .Called customer service number and a repre helped me checked it was shipped to store at 3:39PM May Got tracking# ,went to the store to ask,finally found it in the warehouse.OK, even my friend has to sleep on the floor with a mattress during the days visiting, but finally I got what I need for my home officePicked it up, prepared to set it up this evening,open the box,found that there were big parts missing and this unit looks like somebody returned,all the pack in the box were massedI wait it for a month,went to the store times,call the customer service times and finally got an missing parts packageWill have to spend more time to return it,don't know how many times I have to call to get the money back, really can not believe sears anymore***

a fire started in the shell of the dryer and I don't think it is fair that I should have to buy a new dryerThey were going to view it, but am having trouble getting a time scheduled and they may not even cover the repair cost

Even though the dryer is no longer under warranty, Sears agreed to repair my appliance, due to their negligence in the pastAfter stringing me along for months, they said they couldn't repair the dryerI feel that they purposely led me along for months with no intention of fixing the dryer

After approx attempts via phone to Sears Canada, I cannot get them to stop sending catalogues to my mailboxHave been guaranteed 2X that I will not receive any more but still getting themI travel a lot & they fill up my box
This has been going on since my friend left this address in June *** now receives these at her new address & she has contacted Sears at least 3X to have them stop sending them to my addressThey tell her it has already been resolved but I still receive catalogues in her name

I am getting the run around from incompetent people at the Protection Plan (aka extended warranty)
My *** fridge (purchased Jan 8/and with years of extended warranty) failed while I was on vacation for weeks in July The tech came out July to assess, ordered a new compressor, and installed it AugI had many discussions with call centre reps and finally a supervisor about why they would replace the compressor when the fridge had a disgusting odour in both freezer and fridge compartments which did not dissipate with washing with bleach water solution, using baking soda plus airingTheir reply - that was their procedure And I was reassured that the smell would subside greatly after week + of running
Well guess what - it did not go away, I called the supervisor Augas he had instructed He basically stated the file was closed because the repair was completed and the technician's report did not include the smell issue
My frustrations were mounting as I wanted a replacement unit because the smelly repaired one was unsuitable for food storageI was told by the supervisor that if I wanted the tech to come km to my home to do the sniff test, I'd have to pay for the service call They could not take my word Luckily the tech called me on Augas he was in my areaHe came by, concurred the foul odour still present, and we left a message for the supervisorWhen I followed up later that day, the supervisor stated he needed to speak directly with the tech to find out why the smell continued Then I asked to speak with his superior, who returned my call AugThe man offered to give me a depreciated value for the fridge plus asked if I would pay the difference for a new exact unit + delivery + taxes I'd get one delivered Sept I agreed and was over joyed that model, which had been out of stock, was available I had to change the Septdelivery to Sept When I checked on Septfor delivery confirmation, I was informed by another fellow was monitoring my order and the manufacturer's availability - now it was not available We agreed that I'd contact the rep after Septas I was having surgery and would be in hospital for several days
My question and issues are -
The protection plan group has given me a promise to deliver a fridge
Why should I have to pay anything for a new fridge - isn't that why I paid $for the extend warranty as an insurance plan?
I have checked the stock of this exact model from other appliance retailers - they have plenty of stockI can easily get one from Lowe's or Costco in a heartbeat for a similar price
I want my money back now so I can get this fridge else whereI do not want to wait - until ?????

This is my second email The manager of *** called me back requesting more money to repair my ring, but indicated there would be a line where the ring split As well they said they could not replace the etching they had removed when they resized it I also asked to have the star formation added where the stone had fallen out after their workmanship They said they could not do that either I have since found a private craftmanship who has stored my ring to its original state His workmanship I consider superior to comparison to *** I am requesting money to be returned for damaging my ring from either Sears or *** as I am a long time Sears Customer Please advise

In my case, I booked Washer & Dryer by using builder's certificate through their commercial coordinator and paid difference by my credit cardAt the time of purchase I told them I will inform them about the closing date and schedule deliveryInitially my closing date was June but it was delayed and on June 19th I sent two emails to *** email box to hold delivery till further confirmation
On June evening I got automated msg that delivery is schedule on June 23, I immediately call them and left vm and drop email regarding stop deliveryAlso I contacted their customer service lady who noted my concern and assure me that she is going to stop delivery and it will not happenBut on June 23rd morning I got call from driver that he is going to deliver items at my under construction placeI told him how he can do that delivery is already cancelled because home is under construction , we don't have possession of property and neither we have keysWe were not allowed to enter under construction propertyI asked to take items back and don't deliver but he ignore directions and as per sears customer service he went and drop items on the floor and took some labour signature
After getting possession last weekend I called sears to schedule delivery they told me that it is already delivered on June and they have receivingIt shocked me , I asked who authorized this delivery and who received itThey said some contractor received it but don't have any ID, name or designation of personI asked why they delivery it against my direction on under construction site they told me that they don't care for this and who is receiving they also don't want to know
I told them that in June and still in July whole area was ( currently also) under construction how they can show such negligenceI asked builder about my items , they are unaware about this and sears not accepting its faultIt means that someone stole these items and don't reported it
Sears response in this whole situation is shameless and condemnable because they acted against the clear directionThank you

This is unbelievable, I have been a customer of sears since Due to the Guelph store I was hit for returning too many itemsKidding me? This was about years ago from then on I was not allowed to order anything through catalogueI filed complaints with this store as high as I could get in managementRecently within the past month I ordered items through sears catalogue and they went through with out issueWhen I tried to order an item today I again was stopped and told I was a high return customer, that anything I tried to order would be automatically cancelledThat's it with me, my business goes to *** totallyI can only hope sears goes out of business due to this practiceAny other store like *** do not have limits on what is ordered or how much is returned or kept by the customer

*** *** Purchased new living room furniture in the fall of The rocker recliner gave me problems from day It was very stiff to move the leaver to reclineWhen I contacted Sears they said it was because it was new and would get betterSince then, the mechanisms have broken three timesBasically once per year which is unacceptableThis time not only do they have to replace the mechanisms, but the wood holding the chair together as the holes are to big now to accommodate the boltsI feel that they should be replacing this chair as each time I cannot use the chair as it leg rest will not go down and is bent out of shapeThe manager returned our call once and said it was up to the repair man to say the chair should be replaced and that she notified the manufacturer and they said they will not replace the chairIn speaking with the repair man he told us it was the manager that said "there is no way we are replacing the chair...fix it" We tried calling her back leaving messages and she has not returned our callsIt has been over a month that our chair has been pushed up against the wall without being able to be usedI contacted the manufacturer today to voice my concern and they were of no helpThe gentleman I spoke to stated that unless the chair was being abused there is no way the mechanisms would have broke in that short of a timeI am a year old lady and I DO NOT mistreat my belongings and am very insulted with this comment made
I want to speak with somebody at Sears headquarters to resolve this once and for all, but cannot get throughYour calls go to a call centre which in turn forwards you to the store where your purchase was madeAs I stated this manager chooses not to return our call
I must add that this recliner was close to $1,000...may not be top quality, but is far from being cheap

on Dec 5th I placed an order for a desk it said I would receive it Dec I went to get it at sears to be told there was nothing there for me so I called the customer service number and was on hold for 3,hrs listening to some stupid music and noone answered my call I had to hang up because my cell phone died.So next day I tried again another hrs same thing so then I went to the store to be told even by a manager they have no accsess to online orders anymore that I need to wait for *** to send me a tracking number this is crazy now on Dec at pm I fianaly get thur there stupid customer service line to be told they do not even stock the item anymore and have no idea why its still on the website.So they offer a refund and said it will show uo next day and yup you guessed it no refund now its the 20th of Dec and I tried again the customer service number and again over hrs on phone noone answers .I already ordered the desk from *** online it was the exact same desk and manufacture for dollars cheeper ***!!! and even getting it home delivered I ordered it on Dec 18th and it comes today Dec and I can even track it great service *** !!!! I then tried to call the head office number and it goes straight to the so called customer service departmen t and yup on hold again another hour I have given up with the phone numbers today I am going to my bank to get the charges reveresed *** SEARS to take a customers money and not even stock the item online I have checked again and it still says this item is avaiable Bull it is Sears needs to close its doors for good and *** and taking money and not delivering the product or answering the phones .Now I am on the way to the bank Thanks for causing me all this grief sears great job screwing with your customers.*** *** ***

Hello, I'd like to express my dissapointment in this company For years I and my mother could rely on Sears to send us an annual catalogueWe may not have been frequent customers, but when we needed something we knew we could rely on picking up a catalogueNow , we have to call to request a delivery of a catalogue Which is what I just did , and was told that the Spring and summer catalogue wasn't yet available Its always been available by now And I had to wait min in order to just find this out Waste of time With all the competition out there, a better job at reaching out and customer service is expected

Leather sofa that is starting to peel or shed from one area
My mother who is a senior citizen bought leather sofas, two of them from SearsThis year in July my mother started noticing the leather to shed or peel off in one part of the sofa
