I purchased this refrigerator, and months later, the refrigerator portion stopped working I called the manufacture on a Wednesday to have a repair man come fix it, and was told "we don't have technicians in your area to fix the refrigerator We will need to find one." I was then told that I would get a call or email telling me how to proceed After two days (now Saturday), I called back to find out why I had not heard anythingI was told my "ticket" would now be forwarded to the executive office, and I would get a call back on Monday on how to proceedHowever, it was the same problem--nobody in the area that works on Haier refrigerators I immediately went back to Lowes and bought another refrigerator

After reviewing the notes of the customer's ticket/documents provided, Haier has confirmed that the customer is owed $for in-warranty service Haier has forwarded to its refund team to process

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I wanted to email and let you know that my husband and I deny the response from Haier regarding our dryer fireI want to be clear that we did not deny an inspection of the dryer as Haier stated in their responseWe have asked them several times to remove that statement from our claim file They sent a service person here to do an inspectionHe could not schedule us until November 9th (although their response says the 10th) The service person from [redacted] came to our house, he did not bring any tools with him, just a cameraHe confirmed the dryer had caught fire, took some pictures of the dryer and looked at our utility roomThen he left without doing an inspection I have been trying to find someone to do an inspection as I do not want this to happen to someone elsePlus I'd like to get the dryer out of my garage, but I am waiting for someone to tell me that it's alright to get rid of it, especially since I will have a houseful of people here on the 19th As far as our utility room being "cleaned and repaired", the service guy scheduled his visit a week after the fireI'm not sure if they understand that the smell of burnt plastic was too strong to live with for a week and we did not have any instruction to hold off on any repairs, so of course we did what we could to eliminate the odor Lastly, I should mention that after I posted some pictures on Haier's facebook page, Haier contacted us and offered us $We felt that it was not a fair offer after requesting we send them pictures and receipts that total close to $So we counter offered $ Haier then came back with a $offerWe explained that the damages were roughly $if you subtracted the cost of the replacement dryer we boughtThat is where we are at now You may call myself at [redacted] or my husband [redacted] at [redacted] if you have any questions Thank you, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Haier will be working with this customer to arrange replacement through the retail partner

The pictures provided by the service center show cracks consistent with being closed improperlyHaier considers this to be misuse

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Haier is shady in their business practices I will never do business with them again I am out $because of their scam to sell a defective TV Just Google them and see the thousands upon thousands of complaints against them I wish I would have prior to my purchase Revdex.com - I hope you take notice of their shady business practices They sold refurbished television units on that one [redacted] deal alone This TV (among thousands of other TV's of theirs!) is defective! It will *never [redacted] work again Obviously I do not want one of their repair servicers to come in to my home "as a courtesy" to attempt to fix what is defective and cannot be repaired Deny the warranty and then when I show proof suddenly they will honor it but "only as a courtesy" Yeah right I simply want my money back They refuse Shady, shady scammers Their customer service is still emailing methey do not have internal communication Ridiculous! The refrigerator is designed to work inside and not outside on a screened in porch In the user manual this is stated on page • Do not install your refrigerator in any location not properly insulated or heated, e.ggarage, etcKeep out of direct sunlight and away from heating sources such as radiators, heaters, and cooking appliances.Also on page where the warranty is located it states: ATHIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING: • Damage from misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care and maintenance or incorrect current or voltage • Damage from use other than household use The warranty is void based on the location of the unit when it was in use

This product is being used in a commericial application, the commercial warranty for Haier Products is daysThsi information has been confirmed by the service center making the repairPage of the owners manual states " Commercial or Rental Use warranty days for labor days for parts No other warranty applies"

I just wanted to let you know that Haier offered compensation for our dryer fire situation. I'm not sure whether the compensation was fair or not, but it is compensation. Unfortunately I will never know what caused the fire as it was never inspected, yet it stayed at my home for 6 weeks waiting for an inspection. Haier sent a check to us which covered the cost of their dryer that we purchased 2 years ago, the cost of the clothes that were damaged in the dryer and the repairs to the room. Thank you for your assistance in this situation.
