Using the unit in a garage or similar outdoor space violates the warranty.
 
That being said Haier will offer a one time service accommodation to resolve the issue

Per Haier's notes, the servicer advised Haier that the unit was reset and was working to spec.  If that is not the case, the customer should contact Haier at [redacted] to discuss further.  A store return may be an option if the unit is truly not functioning.

Haier will be working with this customer to arrange replacement through the retail partner.

I purchased this refrigerator, and 9 months later, the refrigerator portion stopped working. I called the manufacture on a Wednesday to have a repair man come fix it, and was told "we don't have technicians in your area to fix the refrigerator. We will need to find one." I was then told that I would get a call or email telling me how to proceed. After two days (now Saturday), I called back to find out why I had not heard anything. I was told my "ticket" would now be forwarded to the executive office, and I would get a call back on Monday on how to proceed. However, it was the same problem--nobody in the area that works on Haier refrigerators. I immediately went back to Lowes and bought another refrigerator.

I purchased a Haier Refrigerator in January,2015. In January,2016 it stop cooling. I told the service rep. that this unit was being used in my RV and they authorized a service call to diagnose the problem. The compressor was determined to be faulty. Haier at that point refused to honor the terms of the warranty and told the service company to send the bill to me. Very poor customer service experience. Their warranty is worthless and they will look for any excuse to void it.

The business response is very old one, not the latest one from July 29th 2014. The report of the technician from Tras solutions which has not been forwarded to Haier America or misplaced by Haier America somewhere clearly mentions that the unit is defective since it doesn't have the drainage system at the back of the unit and it could be operated only in FAN MODE and not in A/C MODE. I already spent $200 on installation that should also be reimbursed to me, as I suffered a lot of difficulty and inconveniences both financially and mentally. My claim should be for the cost of the unit+$200 spent on the installation.
I would definitely make a claim by providing the reference number for fast expedition of the matter.

This product is being used in a commericial application, the commercial warranty for Haier Products is 90 days. Thsi information has been confirmed by the service center making the repair. Page 9 of the owners manual states " Commercial or Rental Use warranty 90 days for labor 90 days for parts...

No other warranty applies".

Page 5 of the operating instructions for this model specifically states

Haier Executive Office will be contacting the customer today to obtain a full estimate to cover the cost of the water damage.

Haier will send the customer the requested plastic spacers free of charge.  We will contact the customer to inform them the parts will be sent to them.

 This is a follow up to a voice mail I left with Janice Croux. I am rejecting this response because: I received a call from a Haier representative on 2/21/14....

She explained that Haier did not have a replacement on hand and was prepared to offer a refund. Haier did arrange for the return of the air conditioner they sent. But as yet I have not heard from them regarding a refund amount. Their response time seems extraordinarily long. I will mark their response as accepted once I have received a refund check from Haier.

Review: I bought a room air condition, made by Haier America, from [redacted]., the unit cost $214.99 PLUS 10% sales tax, Model ESA408K-T Serial Number [redacted], the unit quit working and there service center told me to take the unit to appliance connection, located in [redacted], the company had the unit for a week and stated that they had contacted Haier America regarding warranty repairs... Appliance Connection stated that Hair America did Not want to repair the unit. I have contacted Haier America a total of 14 (fourteen times) trying to get an answer regarding this issue. At this time no answers from Haier America, at ###-###-#### with a reference number being [redacted]. I would appreciate a response ASAP. just how long does it take to process this claim? it is summer/august in the south, would they prefer to wait till October or November, I certainly will nver buy another Haier product because of thetr lack of quick or for that matter any response regarding a resolution regarding the Not working air conditioner.

Review: On 2/13/2013 I purchased a Haier Electric Drier, model # RDE350AW, from H. H. Gregg in Vienna, WV. On 6/30/2013 the drier made a loud, grinding sound when we went to turn it on. On 07/01/2013 I called H. H. Gregg to report the issue and was directed to contact Haier since the item is under the manufacturers warranty. We were told by Haier that there are no service technicians in our area and that we had to call back in a few days. Another call was made to Haier on 07/03/2013 and were given the same reply, no technicians call back tomorrow. We called again on 07/05/2013 and were told to call back tomorrow. Called on 07/06/2013 and was told that I would be contacted by a representative on Monday or Tuesday (07/08 or 07/09) to get issue taken care of. Received no phone calls Monday, 07/08, and by 12:00pm est on Tuesday, 07/09, there was still no response. I then called again, from my workplace, and was told by the representative at that time that there was no supervisor available to take care of my issue. I called today, 07/10/2013, and spoke to a supervisor who told me that a Return Authorization had been sent to H. H. Gregg on 07/05/2013 and that I needed to call them. I then called H. H. Gregg and no contact had been made to them from Haier America. This is completely unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I live 1 hour + from the nearest H. H. Gregg store. If this item is to be replaced, I feel that Haier America should take care of the replacement in my home. I have spent way more time on this issue than what I should have had to. H. H. Gregg is looking into the issue from their end and is supposed to contact me once they get in touch with Haier America but I feel that after the issues that I have had with Haier America, the multiple phone calls, the extremely long hold times, and the fact that Haier America told me that they had been in touch with H. H. Gregg when, in fact, they had not been, I should not have to incur any cost in this matter. No fuel cost to the store, no truck rental, nothing. I have been more than patient and after 9 days of dealing with this issue, my patience has gone out the window.

The unit was replaced at the "local" H. H. Gregg store, which is over an hour from my home. They (H.H. Gregg) were very helpful, Haier America can learn from them. I will never again purchase a product made by Haier America.

Review: I have brought a air conditioner from [redacted] back in March and the air conditioner don't work and I can't take it back because I am out side of the 30 days return policy. So they told me to contact haier America llc. So I did and they was to suppose to send me a e-mail with in 24hrs and I never received it. So I. Call again and they told me the samething and I never received it. I really need my air conditioner because I have little kids and I can't afford a new one. So I contact you all to see if I can get some help.Desired Settlement: I just want a exchange or fix the one I have I am not going to wait all summer.

We received a call on May 11, 2015 stating the email was not received. The paperwork was resent via email that was provided. Once the paperwork is filled out and returned the exchange for the air conditioner will be set up.

Review: My husband and I purchased a [redacted] deep freezer chest in August 2012 via [redacted] and it was delivered to us. On May 2, 2015 we went out and bought 150.00+ worth of meat and filled our freezer up. On May 5th when we went to get an item out of the freezer, and it had stopped working and was defrosted. We contacted [redacted] on May 6th, and a gentleman referred us to the manufacturer. I explained that all we wanted was our item replaced. Since he would not assist in just that I asked for management and spoke with a lady by the name of Shonna T[redacted]. She told us she would get with the manufacturer and call me back with the status. She did touch base with me on the 8th to see if Haier (the manufacturer), had called me and I stated no. She contacted them again, and called back with status on Monday May 11th. According to the manufacturer, we have to contact a service repairman and get an estimate at our expense. We don’t have the funds to pay someone for a defective item purchased. They agreed to pay the repair cost if within their guidelines after we pay the estimate. During their contact, my husband and I did some research, and our item had a recall on it between September 2009-September 2010. We “cannot” afford to pay a repairman for our defective item, nor have we ever purchased such a large item that did not last longer than two years.Desired Settlement: We would like our item replaced and done immeditaley. Who's to say the item was not one of the batch that was recalled. We want what's right, and what's fair and at the company's expspense, not our. We want them to deliver a new one and take the old one.

Review: We purchased a new top of the line dishwasher from Haier last fall. It stopped working and I filled a claim in the beginning of June. To date the service company has been here twice and has not been able to repair the dishwasher. I have placed over 20 calls to Haier and have been on the phone and on hold with them for over 8 hours. The have not fixed the dishwasher and have said earliest date for repair is 8/12. This is not acceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like the dishwasher replaced immediately.

I am rejecting this response because: to date dishwasher has not been repaired or replaced. They offered to replace it but cancelled it because my exact model isn't in stock. The cancelled the replacement and did not contact me. This has caused me personal hardship now as well. It has affected the relationship between me and my fiancé in a very negative way. I am appalled at Haier's lack of customer service, follow up and the lies they repeatedly keep telling me.
