Inogen received a coverage
denial for Date of Service 8/6/Patient did not inform Inogen of change in insurance
coverageOutstanding balance is from 8/6/and 9/6/which were billed out
prior to receiving the denial from his insurance for no coverageAt that
point, a piwas entered
and patient was contacted informing him that he
changed insurance and has no coverage for the Inogen OneIn accordance with
the financial responsibility form stating if their insurance does not cover
services rendered, the customer may be held liable up to the allowed amount
After finding out about the change in insurance, Inogen did stop billing and
did not hold the patient responsible after thatThe balances are for the two
months that denied for no coverage due to the customer not informing Inogen of
an insurance change

I am rejecting this response because:Complaint # has not been resolved and I can not figure out how to respond. I thought that I had responded several times until I was notified that the complaint was closed.I was contacted by a representative and assured that a refund was on it's way. I spent $to ship the item back and have confirmation that it was received 12/29/16. The representative who initially contacted me with her contact info has not responded or answered the direct phone line since

We do indeed recommend a cannula up to feet. Any length from foot up to feet is acceptable. We apologize for the confusion and are sending you a complimentary foot cannula. Thank you for your business

( protected health information)" that needs to be released regarding the fact that their affiliate has kept $over payment which they caused due to their incompetent accounting practicesHopefully, it is not in fact, STOLENThe fact that Inogen uses this financing company witout DISCLOSING the company first does not relieve them of shared culpabilityPlease keep my complaint viewable so others may be warned and not be abused such as ICustomers need to acquire their own financing outside of InogenI do appreciate you inquiring with Inogen on my behalf.

Dear DrB***s, Thank you for contacting Inogen and for notifying us of your concern I apologize that you were not satisfied with the Inogen One and with your interactions with our support staff In the event of a product malfunction, our policy is to overnight a replacement
product to you I understand that due to the product issue you may have lost confidence in the product and decided to return the product instead of requesting an overnight replacement It is our policy to charge a $restocking fee when the product is returned within the day trial period

I am rejecting this response because:This is a follow up complaint to #My mother was sent a second oxygen concentrator after five days of initially reporting her original one malfunctioningTotally unacceptable for someone on oxygen 24/The customer ended up in the hospital while waiting for the machineIt was delivered in a shady unmarked car on front porchDelivery person didn't set it up, calibrate it, or anythingMind you they delivered it to a 72yr old ladyWe've had the concentrator for one month, and it malfunctioned, and brokeAgain, we call the company for troubleshooting and they told us there was nothing they could do, and we'd have to call back during business hoursIt happened to break on the weekendAgain, we are going to have to go to the hospital while we wait to get a third machine deliveredThis is utterly unacceptable service for someone who's life depends on oxygenPatient needs new concentrator NOW, and we want to terminate contract

nothing has been resolved in fact the last time I was called I was told I had different insurance taking affect on January and it would be easier for me to purchase the system than go through insurance I am getting no where at all with this company

Although I accept INOGEN's response, I in no way agree with their business practices. They simply stated policy which I find
arbitrary and capricious. Billing for equipment not in possession of the client is absurd! I strongly advise everyone to avoid doing business with this company

I am rejecting this response because:They have contacted me, however, their attempts to send me the box necessary wasn't successful They finally sent me a box that was the wrong size I called their customer service to ask if they want me to return the concentrator in the smaller box The rep told me it was okay to send it in the smaller box UPS picked up the box today, Jan I will consider this matter closed when Inogen sends me a statement that shows balance due Until then, it is NOT resolved

Yes, I was contacted the following day in which I rejected their response and the matter has been resolved I was told their was a glich in the system and they received the battery as I stated I am now satisfied the amount owed was dissolved and I no longer have a balance due with the company Thank you
