H H Gregg is a terribly ran company and I highly recommend looking elsewhereI ordered a washing machine online and was told it would be delivered 12/4/ That day came and went with no call or email from the company as to why the washer did not arrive I called on my own to set up another delivery date and was told the previous delivery date I was given was an "estimate", despite the receipt using the term "delivery date" I was then rudely told it couldn't be delivered for more weeksWhen the delivery personnel arrived, they did not even remove the washing machine from the truck because they said it was so badly damaged it was unlikely to workThey ensured me they would have hh gregg call me in minutes to set up yet another delivery dateI received no call or emailI called yet again to set up another date and was told they had no idea when another one could be deliveredI told them I no longer wanted it and to take it off of my credit cardI was told this would take 7-daysdays later it is still on my credit cardI am currently on hold again to try to get the charge for a washer I never received off of my credit cardEach time you call it is at least minutes wait on holdGood luck to anyone who shops here they are the worst!

I purchased a sectional from HH Gregg in March When buying the sectional I opted to also buy the warranty for itAt the time that I purchased the couch the salesman informed me that any accidental damage to the couch is covered under the warranty, everything is included except for pet urineWhen I received the couch it had been cut with a box cutterI called the warranty department to have someone come out and fix itThe process took months as the communication from the warranty department was lackingEvery few weeks I would have to call back and wait on hold for about minutes before anyone could help meMy couch was fixed in late summer In the spring of my couch got another rip in it in the same spot as beforeI am unsure as to how this rip actually occurredI was guessing my small dog who had a toy near the couch may have scratched it although I am not really sure if that was the causeI again called the warranty department to fix my couchI submitted my claim and waitedI had to call back to check on the status and I was told my claim was on hold as they needed more informationAlthough they NEVER contacted me to get this informationThe person I talked to on the phone acted like my claim would be coveredI waited another week and had to call back againThis time I spoke with a manager who acted like my claim had not yet been processed, but should be coveredI waited another week and had to call back again after being told I would be contacted in two or three daysThis time when I called I was informed that my claim was denied because pet damage is not coveredThis was the first time in all of my phone calls that I was told this and I was very frustratedThat was not what I was told when I purchased the warranty and no one told me that in my numerous calls with the warranty departmentMy parents recently purchased a dishwasher at HH Gregg and brought up the issue and they were contacted by customer service to revisit my claimI received a call from the complaints department who, knowing my information, said my claim should be covered, but when I called the number he left me back the woman I spoke to told me that my claim was not accidentalI have no idea how it is not considered an accident when no one cut the couch on purposeSo again I was misguided in what they would coverI have learned a very valuable lesson in all of this Do not buy furniture from HH Gregg or don't buy a warranty as not much is covered The customer service and communication with the customer is very poorThere are a few things I think HH Gregg can also take from this Educate your salespeople on what your warranty actually covers and Work on your communication with the customerThe follow up on issues is very important and by effectively communicating you can head off these types of issues and frustration

We had our new GE refrigerator delivered and the freezer door handle didn't fitThe delivery guy tried to get the issue resolved with the service dept with no luckHe suggested we contact the storeWe kept the refrigerator, since it was a minor issue to fixWe we went to the Noblesville store, we were met by a very unprofessional, sloppy dressed associate who told us that we need to work out the issue with GE, that Gregg had no responsibility in fixing the doorWe finally spoke to the manager and are awaiting their responseEvidently, Gregg doesn't stand behind their products anymoreThe just lost a loyal 25yr customer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
However, I am only doing this because further pursuit of the matter will take time and energy I do not haveThe clear intent of the warranty was not honored and I ask that the Revdex.com look into this further to prevent future hhgregg customers from the same dishonest business practicesThe warranty promises a replacement dishwasher if the same issue cannot be repaired after three attemptsThey attempted to fix the same issue three times before finally diagnosing the problem (a broken pump)There was a fourth visit made to replace the pump, and I had requested a fifth service call for the same issueWarrantech never sent out a repair person and didn't bother to even contact me to say why until I called again two weeks laterThe reason the warranty was canceled was because Warrentech had spent more on the repair of the dishwasher than its value (a condition found in the fine print) but the only reason the repair costs were so high was because they continued to send repair technicians who could not fix the problem until the fourth visit and this fix (a new pump) only lasted for two monthshhgregg is saying that they are powerless in the matter and must accept Warrentech's decision not to honor the warranty; this is a poor excuse since hhgregg is responsible for choosing their vendor and the language of their contracts and can certainly pressure Warrantech to honor their warranty in all cases or choose another vendor who will.

I will never again order appliances from HH GreggI was very excited to make my first large purchase in my first home of new appliances for the kitchenI read through everything online as I purchased my items, immediately $was deducted from my bank accountThen I waited, and waited...three days and then I had to contact the store directly to set up a date for the installationToday I received a call from the driver that said they will not be installing any of my appliances, just dropping them off and someone should have called me to discuss thatI have never been so furiousI am a single mother and I have no idea how to install major appliances, nor do I know anyone who doesSo I am stuck with appliances which I cannot use until I hire someone to come out and install, an additional expense that I was not prepared forEvery other company I've ever had to deal with has ALWAYS installed the appliances they sell as a part of the delivery & installationI will NEVER again use HH Gregg

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I found out the order was canceled when I went into the store to pick up the order. HHGREGG had my e-mail address and phone number. They asked for the phone number "in case there is a problem with order...". There may have been a problem with the order, but no one bothered to call me or send me an e-mail to try to resolve the credit card issue. To date...other than the salesman comment in the store that the "order was canceled"...I have not received ANY notice from HHGREGG that the order was canceled. When I tried to find out what happened, the customer service rep was very nasty...and I believe hung up on me times. I tried to contact HHGREGG a 4th time through their contact site and that did not work either. I did my best to find out why the order was canceled, when a simple phone call from HHGREG would have resolved this problem. Even after the "order was canceled", HHGREGG still ran ads for the same TV for the same price. I believe HHGREGG should have offered to sell me one from their store stock, but they never made that offer. They let me walk out of the store mad.Wait...there was a pseudo response from HHGREGG...got an e-mail from ResellerRattings.com asking "Did HHGREGG deliver?" Funny...I did not respond as I was waiting for a response to my complaint, but now I might as someone needs to listen to consumer complaints.At this point there is probably nothing HHGREGG can say or do to resolve this complaint to my satisfaction.
