My husband and I called Horizon on Thursday afternoon because no hot water was coming out of any of our faucetsThe representative told us that a Horizon technician would be at our house on Friday morning between 8:am and 10:amMy husband stayed home on Friday and Andrew Sfrom Horizon showed up at about 8:am, which was perfectHe went into the crawl space to examine our hot water heater and first see if it was repairableWhen he came up he did explain that the top thermostat had shorted out and the unit shut down and in the process a wire, or two, had started to melt because of the thermostat shorting outHe said the damage that was done was repairable, but given that the unit was almost years old that it wouldn't be worth the price to repair the damage because there is a good chance, that given the age of the unit again, that it would break again in the next few yearsSo he suggested that we replace the unit altogetherMy husband and I agreed with him and knew going in that there was a good chance that the suggestion from Horizon would be to buy a new hot water heater and replace the old oneAndrew was even accommodating enough to show my husband where exactly the damage was on the old unit, just as confirmation of the damage that had occurredAndrew was very helpful with questions that my husband had about the replacement unit and was even kind enough to speak with me over the phone while I was at work to discuss our options and what was going onWe inquired about any [redacted] capabilities that Horizon offers with a new hot water heater, since we have [redacted] capabilities with the new HVAC system and thermostat that we bought and had installed by Horizon a few years agoAndrew was very helpful and patient enough to make numerous calls back to Horizon to see if Horizon offers anything like that, and when it was confirmed that there was a way to tie alerts from our hot water heater to our existing app for the thermostat for the HVAC system, he then called the warehouse to see if there was any availability on that particular item in case we wanted to purchase itHe presented all of our options in great detail to my husband in person and me over the phone and we came to a decision on which one we wantedRight after that, Andrew called up another Horizon employee to help him out with the un-installation of the existing hot water heater and the installation of the new oneThe two of them worked very diligently to get the job done as fast as they could and Andrew was very apologetic over how much time the entire process was takingAfter a few hours the old hot water heater was out of the crawl space and the new one was fully installedAndrew informed my husband that it would take about an hour after installation for the hot water heater to completely kick inHe said if the hot water wasn't working by 2:pm to call him personally and if he was in the area, he would come right back to help us out, or to call the Horizon office to inform them that the new hot water heater wasn't working and have them dispatch someone else who was in the area to help outFortunately for us, when my husband tested all of the faucets at 2:pm, the hot water worked perfectly! Andrew Sis a great representative of Horizon and it's servicesHe did a great job of answering every question that we had in as much detail as he could, he was very personable, and he made us really feel like he cared about us getting the best product, and right product, for our houseHe overall did an excellent jobWe'd be more than happy to work with him again down the road

Just had Frank D [redacted] over to take care of an issue with my furnaceHe arrived early (after a heads up from the office to confirm it was okay), diagnosed the problem in minutes and clearly explained all my service options without being pushyHe fixed the problem in under an hour and we couldn't be happier with our first experience with HorizonThanks Frank!

HVAC Technician Sean Fwas an excellent representative of Horizon Services He was very pleasant, courteous, and honest when describing the repair risksEven though the piping repair appeared to be very challenging due to the age, rusting, and setup, he took the time to discuss it among his senior technicians to obtain a comfort level and execution plan that would succeed He demonstrated his knowledge and skill by handling the daunting repair without any additional failure and need for remedy His repair looked well done, without leaks, and completed within the timeframe expected He kept me informed of his progress throughout and I appreciated the information and helpfulness he provided as he was bleeding the radiators and baseboard unitsAn excellent experienceLast Saturday, I experienced a few mishaps with obtaining the correct technician for the initial assessment, but Plumbing techAnthony realized before arriving that I needed a HVAC techinstead and did an excellent job in handling the change He worked out the techchange timely along with the scheduler, and kept me well informed to who was now assigned and when I should expect his arrival from DE Josh M.,HVAC tech., was also excellent to work with and was honest enough to take himself off the repair, and requesting for a more senior tech., since he didn't understand the unique setup of my system Even though he had challenges with the process to reschedule the work, he handled himself well, stayed until resolution, and took care that my scheduling needs were met

Work was done well and in a shorter time frame then stated, very satisfied.
