Review: I was due to PCS to Korea in mid July of 2014 and needed a letter from Hyundai so I could ship my car. I contacted them and asked what documents I needed so I could fill them out and return them, and I was told that all I needed was my orders and proof of insurance covering the vehicle while it is transit and in Korea. So I faxed my documents to the number that was provided to me by a customer service rep, and waited a couple of days before I called them to make sure they got my documents. After I called, they told me that it takes 48 hours to confirm that they got a fax from me, which is pretty ridiculous, but I waited since I had some time. After I called back later, they told me that they didn't receive it and had me fax my documents to a different number, I again had to wait a few days before they could even check if they got it, and when I called back they said they didn't. I asked them if there was any way that I could just email it to them so I didn't have to waste so much time since I had to leave a couple weeks later, and they said only mail or fax. So because they couldn't handle the issue in a timely manner, I had to get a power of attorney so someone else could ship my car, and I had to go overseas without shipping my car. After I got to Korea I called to see if they got my documents and they said that they didn't , so I escalated and asked to talk to a supervisor and complained that this was ridiculous and now Im in a foreign country with no car, having to take taxis everywhere, and making hour long international phone calls in the middle of the night. They then told me that they could in fact take care of this through email. So I emailed them the docs, and they got it, and emailed me the letter I needed, but because it took so long for them to finally help me, I now have to wait another month to get my car. I should have gotten my car in late August or early September but now I won't get it until the end of October.Desired Settlement: I think that it is reasonable that I be reimbursed for the price of transportation that I had to pay since I couldn't get my car shipped in a timely manner, as well as the price of sending multi-page faxes multiple times, and the price of making multiple hour long international phone calls. I have been in Korea for nearly three months now and have had to take the taxi everywhere, including when I get groceries, or have to take my family to the hospital, or do any errands and it has cost me at least an additional $3000. If they had just helped me with getting my letter I could have shipped my car before I left and had my car by September, but now I have to wait another month.

Review: My issues with Hyundai motor finance is their dishonest billing practices. I have proof that I paid an additional $485.00 that is not accounted for on their payment records. before I began shopping for a new vehicle prior to April 27th 2015 I called HMFUSA. The HMFUSA associate that I spoke with told me that my account was current. April 27th was my official lease end date. I requested for a statement to be sent out accounting showing that my payments were current with the end of my lease. This was the first occasion that an associate of HMFUSA agreed to send me account details and failed to do so. Several weeks later I received a bill for 599.58. after speaking [redacted] on 5/26 and expressing my concerns she agreed to sent me a copy of my payment history. which, again, never did show up. She stated that there were late fees as well as property tax fees that were not paid. Not true! I paid all of it.
The other part of HMFUSA that is so unfair is that they claim they hit me with a $400 disposition fee even though I wanted to buy another car form them. They refused me for financing. Claiming that it was my credit. It was 100 % their choice not to finance and great and loyal customer. Why am I being penalized when I had every intention of buying a car through HMFUSA? They have terrible customer service and thery don't follow through on top of having in accurate records of customer payments.
I also believe that they have put incorrect statements about missed payments on my credit report which I have written them about. They did not answer. I have done everything in my power to no avail.Desired Settlement: I would like them to realize that I have paid for my account in full and also take into consideration how unfair it is to charge someone a disposition fee that tried to buy a car from the company again. I want them to retract the entire $599.58

Review: This website does not provide basic feature for finance website. Customer can not check scheduled payment which tend to double payments, there are no option to cancel or reschedule payments. If you call customer service about these issues there are no help at all. It looks like this website was design to confuse customers and get extra money from them. I believe it's illegal practice and it felt under fraud definition. Thanks.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
They have to add these features to their website like every other businesses doing in this country.

Review: Violation in auto lease financing:
I called in to my lease finance company, Hyundai Motor Finance, recently for a payoff on my auto lease. I am the lien holder. They told me that 'Colorado law' refuses to provide a payoff; rather, only the actual dealer can provide.
I then called the dealer I leased from, McDonald Hyundai in Littleton, CO., and told them what they were doing was disreputable and illegal. They proceeded to give me a hard time and stood by their contention, even saying that because they were headquartered in California that 'it could be legal there'.
Finally, after literally screaming and demanding my payoff, the sales manager relented and gave it to me. By design, they were trying to keep me in my lease.
Something needs to be done about their tactics. They are a disgrace and their lies are just unscrupulous attempts at keeping honest people from their rightful financial information.Desired Settlement: I would request for Hyundai Motor Finance to be held accountable by law for their refusal to provide the lien holder's financial information, their falsehood that it is 'the law', and subsequent tactics at the dealership. I am uncertain if this means a fine, but would request the maximum penalty allowable and a change to their business practices.

Review: My insurance CO. declared my Equus a total loss, after an accident. Partly because certain body parts for 2014 Equus are not available. Car was in body shop for 3 mos. They sent the proper paperwork to Hyundai Motor Finance on 10/3. They need a payoff letter from HMF, in order to send the payoff ck.
HMF keeps stonewalling. First they said for a week they never got the paperwork. Then they said we did, you will get the letter in 2 days. Lately they say it takes 2 business weeks. Now they say not before 10/24.
Hartford insurance tells me all other Finance CO's produce the letter in max 48 hours. Why is there a problem with HMF??
I have already purchased a replacement car from Hyundai. What loyalty to the customer!!Desired Settlement: Get the letter to Hartford..TODAY!!

Review: This company has over and over again applied my nsf payments to them to the principal of my car instead of applying them to the fees that they were supposed to. I have called in multiple times to get it straightened out and multiple times they tell me it's done and it never gets fixed, they refuse to apply
The payments I made to the fees that they were meant for. Also my wife is listed as an authorized user on the account and 12 times they have said they have updated the address for her so that she can call in and verify under the correct address, and 12 times they hvs said its done and when she calls in she has to verify an outdated address instead of the correct one. This company is incompetent and unwilling to help, it feels like personal doscrimination at this point. They need to be held accountableDesired Settlement: I want my billing issue fixed now and my wife's address updated for when she calls in. My wife loves with me she should not have to continue veirfying an outdated address. That is a major security breach in my
Book to have someone be able to use an old address to get account information. Only the new updated address should be on my account anywhere period

Review: Hyundai Motor Finance has caused negative reporting marks on both mine and my husbands’ credit reports from [redacted] The remarks on the negative claims stated that there were late payments on 3 separate occasions. I have bank statements, as well as statements from the finance companies website to support my dispute of these claims. Some of the claims that I field through the credit reporting agencies were updated by Hyundai Motor Finance but they are still incorrect. The 3 late payments reported on our credit reports were caused by the misallocation of funds at the fault of the company. When I spoke with a representative today, she stated that she had no such notes in the system. I have proof that not only were my funds misallocated on 3 separate occasions, but that the negative information reported on both mine and my husbands’ credit reports are false (we are co-leases on each of our 2 vehicles). Each time I have spoken to someone at the company they are rude and blame me for their mistakes. I would love to find a loophole somewhere to get my husband and myself out of our leases so that we never have to deal with such incompetency ever again. My husband and I are extremely upset that our credit is now affected by Hyundai Motor Finances failure to ensure that their employees are properly trained and do their jobs correctly.Desired Settlement: I want out of minre and my husbands lease due to the multiple errors that have been made on our account and the negative effect it has had on both of our credit.I want out of mine and my husbands’ lease, penalty free due to the multiple errors that have been made on our account and the negative effect it has had on both of our credit.

Review: I LEASED A 2013 HYUNDAI ACCENT AND ONCE MY LEASE WAS CONTRACT WAS OVER(IN JULY), I RETURNED THE CAR. AT THE DEALER THEY TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS OK. THEY OFFERED ME ANOTHER LEASE(OF COURSE) WHICH I HAD NOT INTERESTED AND I LEFT. FEW WEEKS LATER I RECEIVED A BILL OF $428,00. THEY ARE CHARGING ME THAT BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET ANOTHER LEASE CONTRACT WITH THEM.Desired Settlement: I DON'T WANT TO PAY THE FEE OF $428.00. IT IS NOT FAIR.
